Television Streaming

"I don't think the ritual I once knew is applicable

I must accept the fact that I've grown

Grown to how they've wanted

Independent and Free

But too independent thinking

Too free believing

Perhaps we can't gather around the TV

Perhaps it is better to leave

Continue the paradox of loving

Wanting to love

But realizing you are not wanted fully

Since we're just stuck on streaming

I must let go

Happy Earth Day! 🌎

--- Made this poster last year as a dedication to landback movements and the pursuit to overcome pollution in our lands. I was primarily inspired by Kahenientha Cross with her movements to preserve her people's lands in 2021 and the continued fight against corporations polluting indigenous land without any accountability.

May we all continue the fight to be accountable as stewards of this earth and the creation that lives in it.

Rediscovering Red ~~ So, I made this back in 2023 and completely forgot to post about it. Hehe. The idea here was to create a retelling of Brother Grimm's iteration of Little Red Riding Hood for my university course. It evolved into this version of a Chinese Canadian coming-of-age story teaching kids to overcome AAPI hate in a pandemic-post pandemic world.
