shoto and denki headcannons; s/o with unaccepting parents

-initially, he didn't really know what to do about the situation. he knew this would be a risk, but still felt bothered nonetheless.

-he was excited to meet his boyfriend's parents, but finding out that they borderline hated him was like a slap in the face.

-shoto doesn't care much about what others think about the two of you together, but he was extremely worried about you. when you came to him with teary eyes, he immediately wrapped you in his arms in an attempt to comfort you.

-he's not a big fan of pda, but would display public affection a bit more that usual in an attempt to make you smile. shoto isn't ashamed of you in the slightest, and doesn't want you to think that for a moment.

"hey.. it's alright. we can get through this together. they just need time."

"there's nothing wrong with me... there's nothing wrong with us, right..?"

"of course not. i love you very much. we can get through this together."

-kaminari has a naturally laid back exterior, but he was just as upset as you were. when he met your parents, he thought they really liked him! until you called him, extremely upset about an argument you got into with your parents.

-he listened closely and absorbed everything that happened, immediately becoming worried for you. were you safe? did you need anything right now?

-as soon as you were finished, he immediately headed back over to your house. denki had the perfect plan to make you laugh. a few minutes after the phone call, you heard gentle knocking at your window. opening it, you sighed softly with a smile.

"why are you throwing rocks at my window? this isn't some old romance film.. you could get in trouble!"

"i got you this!" he exclaimed, holding up a bag full of various things

-he bought you all of your favorite snacks, and a stuffed animal that made him think of you. deep down, he knew it wasn't enough to ease the pain. but it was a good start. soon, you both would work up enough courage to talk to your parents. until then, kaminari wouldn't hide his love for you at all.

-he's already super affectionate, and his love would increase tenfold after that night.

-i think he would be the first to make a move towards your parents, hoping his natural charm could help your family understand how much you cared for each other.

I’ve seen a lot of posts on my dash tonight about users who are threatening suicide, with other Tumblr members posting in effort to try to get ahold of them. I think you all should see this:

IF THERE IS EVER A TUMBLR USER WHO HAS POSTED A GOOD-BYE MESSAGE, SUICIDE NOTE, VIDEO, OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT, PLEASE FOLLOW THIS POST.

1. Scroll to the top of your dashboard.

2. See the circular question mark icon at the top? It’s the third one over from your home symbol. Click on that, and a screen similar to the one in the picture will come up.

3. Where you can type in questions, the box with the magnifying glass at the top, type in the word “suicide.”

4. Click on the first link that shows up. It should say, “Pass the URL of the blog on to us.”

5. Type in the user’s URL and tell Tumblr admin that the user is contemplating suicide and has posted a message indicating that they are going through with it or will be attempting. Hit send! Tumblr administration will perform a number of actions to contact the user and take the necessary steps to prevent the suicide.

TUMBLR: THIS COULD SAVE A USER’S LIFE. PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE SUICIDE THREATS.

-he wasn't sure what pulled him towards you at first, whether it was how handsome you were or how much he liked your unique little mannerisms, but he found himself falling hard for you.

-it started off as a basic crush, a slight interest, until jesse realized he couldn't stop thinking about you when you weren't around. he often wondered how he could have these feelings for a man, since it had never happened before. but soon he accepted it.

-you were unaware of his feelings for you, but it's not like you reciprocated them anyway. you saw him as a close friend.

-he tried getting closer to you: talking with you more about things you liked, buying you gifts, being slightly clingy and more flirtatious with you. how could you not notice how he felt?

-when he finally worked up the courage to confess to you, he was shocked by your answer of denial. how could you deny him? he was the perfect man, right? he thought you might have liked him too.

-he definitely was angry at first, but not at you. moreso at himself. he had gotten in too deep with his feelings. he felt horrible for expressing any sort of vulnerability. he definitely punched something that day.

-after his initial anger, he got really.. depressed. he shut you- no, everyone out for a while. jesse wasn't an overly emotional man, but he cried. a lot.

-he got over it, but not fully over you. he still has hopes that one day you'll give him a chance. even if it would be a while, he'd stick around.

-he would wait for you.

he could definitely tell something was off. he wasn't sure exactly what it was, but he knew. no matter how good you tried to be at hiding your feelings so he wouldn't worry, somehow he always found out. his subtle attempts at poking fun at you went ignored, and jesse was starting to feel a little hurt himself. after thinking for a moment on what he should do, he quietly knocked on the door to the room you both shared.

"y/n? darlin'? can i come in?"

"yeah.. sure," you mumbled, sitting up in your bed and rubbing your eyes. slowly opening the door, mccree entered the room and gave a gentle wave.

"may i sit?" you simply nodded.

"well uhm. hey there, sweetheart. you don't have to speak if you don't want to. i just wanna check on ya and see if yer doing alright." he looked at you, his face slightly strained with worry.
