Okay so update on the cats thing. I need to give a bit of info before we start. I'll also put a picture of the kind of style that I'll be drawing the cats. Or you could just look at my pfp.

- The cats are like a huvemind and can hear some thoughts of each other but only if a cat wants the others to hear the thought, or if the cat is thinking something that could put them in danger. This is for safety reasons and it makes communication with each other super easy.

- They have little family-like groups called Stacs. Each stac is more connected to each other than the rest of the hive is (the whole of them all is called The Hive).

-They can feel when eachother dies and that cat's stac gets time to grieve and just be together. They can all feel it but the stac feels it the worst and the other cats bring gifts to the stac to make them feel better.

- They get sent on a lot of missions to help their cause and there's one cat who sends them out on missions. Only that cat can connect with other cats one on one and isolate their connection. She can also target a few cats or a stac and communicate with just them for missions.

- There's different cats for different specialties. eg. Scuba cats, research cats, emotional support cats, ect.

This is the style I'll be drawing them in. It's super simple but a lot of them will have fur patterns or scars or something to make them different.

I am going to start a new series now and hopefully keep it up. It's going to be about these cats that I like drawing in a very simple style so they don't have very much variety but I'm doing my best and I've come up with a bunch of lore for them and backstories for a few of them. It will be in the same style as my pfp and I'll even try to write the story of what's happening but I also plan to do like a comic thing and draw them all.

The cats will also have their own language, that people can't read but it does make sense. It's like English but in code.

Anyway just wanted to post this so I can actually start it bc I've been meaning to for like a month now.

social experiment at work

i work at a convenience store in a small town and i decided to do a social experiment of how many people have manners and how many don't.

i should explain that i do live in a small town so these results are relatively small and i excluded anyone I'm close with because they'd be biased towards me and be nice either way. i did this for 4 days in a row which adds up to 32 hours. i put them into 4 different categories:

"please" and nothing else

day 1: 2 people

day 2: 0 people

Day 3: 0 people

day 4: 0 people

"please" and "Thank you"

Day 1: 29 people

day 2: 11 people

Day 3: 3 people

Day 4: 6 people

nothing and "Thank you"

Day 1: 80 people

Day 2: 31 people

Day 3: 34 people

Day 4: 29 people

nothing at all

Day 1: 27 people

Day 2: 26 people

Day 3: 13 people

Day 4: 14 people

some of them are repeats because I'm terrible at remembering faces and don't remember most of my customers so there are some repeats here.

also in the "just thank you" section, that also includes people who were rude about it and I'm not actually sure why they said "thank you". People confuse me.

I'm actually going to do more experiments like this and maybe share the results. it's hard to get a good read on people by being in such a small town and this says more about my town than anything else i guess. considering how many crack heads are in this town and come to my work, I'm surprised there aren't more in the rude section.

i guess this isn't how many people have manners, it's more of how many encounters i have that have manners.

oh yeah, since i work at a convenience store, we have coffee and some hot food to serve. one dude (an asshole all the time istg) asked me to get him some food while i was bringing fresh coffee out. i just didn't say anything and he somehow figured it out on his own that he has to order food at the register. i put him down as rude because i figured I'd do customer encounters rather than the customers themselves because i knew there would be repeats.

Okay so I got another PJO post bc the show came out and I'm loving it. I do have one little itty bitty problem with it tho so imma just say it.

Spoilers ahead for anyone who didn't read the books btw

Okay so I know that she movies are a disgrace and the show is our saving grace but like... I just finished watching the 3rd episode and one thing really bothered me. The part where they're at Aunty Em's, they're talking about the furies and they're literally calling them out by name. Isn't it that in the books, Annabeth literally has to shut Percy up from saying "Fury" or any of their names or it would summon them or let them know their location.

Idk if it's just me kinda bothered by how big of a deal they made names in the books and they just throw the names around no problem in the show. I know it might just me being weird about some random minor detail but I never heard anyone mention "the kindly ones".

Now I haven't re-read the books yet but I plan to but I'm like 99% sure that names hold a lot of power in the demigod world and that's why all the monsters call Percy by his full name but in the movie they just call him Percy Jackson.

Idk why I'm so frustrated by this. I feel like it should be a thing bc I feel like the name thing is important in their world if they made it such a point in the books.

And yes I know that the show isn't the book and the book isn't the show buy I'm pretty sure even in all Greek myths, it's a thing that names hold power and idk. I feel like they should stick with real myths and can change only pjo specific canon that doesn't relate to the myths and stuff like "Oh Percy pulled out his sword" in the book and "Percy picked up a rock" in the show bc that has nothing to do with myths.

Sorry it's such a long rant.just needed to get that out of my system

I deleted almost all my other HASO posts bc I want to start over with new characters and I want to do a few different series that will all be in the same universe. Anyway I'm gonna make new characters and everything and they'll be more complex and thought out.

Reason for imprisonment: Assault; Theft; Break and entering; murder of innocent species; Unjustified Assault

Threat level: 9/10

"Let's me go you asshole!" Ky growled as the aliens threw him into his cell. Ky stumbled a little bit before regaining his balance. He'd usually be stronger but the aliens knew he'd be weak if they didn't feed him properly. They knew how to handle humans, which didn't help Ky at all.

They had put a muzzle on Ky to keep him from biting, and killing any of the guards or crew that operated the prison. They didn't take very many other measures to ensure their safety though which was good. The whole 'being angry with the guards' was kind of a ruse so he could escape. Earlier that day, during feeding time, Ky had hidden a metal butter knife in his clothes before attacking another prisoner with a fork. Luckily, the guards took the fork away from him and immediately took him to his cell. He wouldn't get and free time outside but he was okay with that. He had a plan to escape.

The prison was in the middle of a forest on some alien planet where nobody could supposedly survive. The Universal Council must have thought that it was a good place to put a prison so that anyone who escapes would die anyway. Ky planned an escape but he didn't plan to die when he got out.

Kylar yelled profanities at the guards as they walked away to jeep up his 'defiant humans act until they were out of his sight. The cell he was in was made out of something similar to concrete and he just so happened to have a window with metal bars. The aliens who built this prison must have taken inspiration from Earth prisons because it was almost identical.

Ky stood atop his bed and started chipping away at the concrete around the bars on the window. If he could get them loose, the guards wouldn't notice if they were loose. The window was above everyone's heads so nobody could reach it without standing on something.

After about 45 minutes of chipping the concrete, he heard the cell block door buzz open. He quickly hid the knife and laid down on his bed as if he'd been there the whole time. He made little progress in the concrete but it was better than nothing. He'd have to keep working at it in order to escape.

It had been a week now and Ky made barely any progress. He didn't have much time to dig at the bars because of patrols and noise and a few other things bit he wasn't giving up. He wasn't given any books or anything so he had nothing to do whenever he was in his cell alone.

There had been a few other prisoners who had tried to become friends with him but he just bared his teeth and growled at them. He knew how to look threatening and he knew he could probably kill anyone who tried to fight him. The other prisoner usually backed off when they realized that Ky was hostile towards them.

He would constantly try to intimidate the guards too but they were trained to be unaffected by most of his attempts.

Ky was about to give up digging for the day when he felt the metal bar pull away from the concrete. He slowly and quietly pulled it out of the window and looked at it in awe. He hadn't expected to actually get it out without being caught but here he was.

He quietly put it back where it was so the guards wouldn't catch onto what he was doing. All he needed now was a plan to survive the outside world. If he couldn't survive in the forest on the planet, he'd have to fine a ship or something to get out.

After gathering his strength and getting a new knife, Ky pried the bar from the window and squeezed his body through it. He probably wouldn't have fit if he was being fed properly. He had lost a lot of weight since getting in the prison.

He looked below and seen a grass field that was about 20ft below his window. He jumped down from the window and rolled upon landing to absorb the shock of landing. Immediately, he turned around to see if there were any alarms going off inside the prison. There weren't so he assumed he was in the clear.

He cut the straps of the muzzle with his knife and threw it on the ground before running into the forest. He didn't know where he was going but he just had to get far away so nobody would find him.

As he was running, he started to see a light from a fire. He slowly approached and stayed as quiet as he possibly could. He managed to see a few different aliens all sitting around the fire. They all looked very predatory with varying lengths of claws and teeth. They all had their own attributes that would be classified as a threat.

"I can hear you. You might as well come out before we all attack." One of them said, standing up and facing the direction Ky was in.

Ky came out of his hiding spot with his hand up to show he was no threat to them. He didn't say anything and just walked into the light so they could see him better.

The aliens didn't let their guard down or even move a muscle. "You're a human? What's a human doing way out here?" The one asked.

"I escaped the prison. Was gonna survive on my own but I'll help you if you can help me." Ky explained to them and offered his help if he could join their little group.

The alien chuckled at the offer. "What could you possibly offer us?" It asked.

"I can hunt for you. If you let me travel with you, then I can help you hunt and I can help protect you." Ky said, lowering his hands.

"How could you possibly protect us? You're a human. You have no teeth or claws or anything to kill."

Ky was about to explain himself when he heard some prison guards headed their way and seen the lights from some flashlights.

The alien quickly looked at the guards and then glared back at Ky. "You lead them right to us. What's wrong with you!" It growled angrily at Ky.

Ky quickly came up with a plan. It wasn't the best or safest plan but it would work. He looked back at the alien "You distract them and keep their attention and let me handle the rest." He quickly instructed before taking off into the dark forest.

The guards hearing wasn't very good so he didn't have to be too quiet but still had to be careful and avoid the lights.

Ky hid behind a few trees until he heard the guards talking to the group around the fire. The guards were now in the light of the fire and Ky could see that they have very few weapons of their own. They didn't have any guns or anything that could be used from a distance.

This would be perfect. Ky climbed one of the trees near by until he was nearly right above the guards. He then jumped down and tried to slice one of the guards throats. It's skin must have been some kind of armor because his knife did nothing to the guard. Ky knew he had to find a weak spot and went for the most obvious one. The eye. Ky stabbed his knife as far as he could into the guards eye. His eye popped and the blue blood was spurting out and leaking down its face.

The other two guards had pulled out their batons and were getting ready to hit Ky. One managed to hit Ky on his back which got his attention on the second guard. It was an alien that was very cat-like but it had hands instead of paws. It had the face, ears and fur of a cat but that was where the similarities ended.

Ky had the second guard pinned to the ground when an idea popped in his head. He looked at the third guard. "Go back to the prison. Tell them that we want a ship out of here or we'll kill this one. Well be there tomorrow morning and youd better have an answer for us or ill kill all of you." He threatened.

The third guard looked at Ky with a horrified expression. It just nodded its head and ran away back to the prison. Ky got up and pulled the cat like guard up with him. He held the guards arms behind his back so he couldn't move his arms.

Ky walked the guard into the alien's little camp they'd set up and threw the guard to the ground before getting on top of him and wrapping his hands around his throat, cutting off his oxygen.

The other aliens of the group looked at Ky, concerned. The one who confronted him earlier touched Ky's shoulder. "I thought you said we weren't killing that one yet?" It asked.

The guard was struggling but was slowly slowing down as his body slowly lost oxygen. "I'm not killing him. If his body goes without breathing for long enough, it should just knock him out and not kill him." Ky explained.

Slowly, the guard stopped struggling until his entire body went limp. Ky put his hand near his nose to feel his breath to make sure he was still alive.

He then looked at the aliens "you got any rope?" Ky asked so he could tie up the guard.

The aliens gave Ky to rope without a word. They were all too afraid to ask what just happened. They were scared of just how feral the human could be and how easily he could just snap out of it.

(Violence and gore ends here. You didnt miss anything important. Just Ky taking out the guards and sending one back and keeping a hostage)

After tying up the guard, Ky stood up and held his back where the guard had hit him earlier. "Fuck that hurts. That's gonna be a bitch while it heals." He complained to nobody in particular.

"So can I join your little group and we can all leave this shit hole of a planet or am I leaving this place alone tomorrow?" Ky asked, already almost certain of the answer.

The other aliens looks skeptical "you can stay as long as you don't attack any of us." One said after having a silent conversation with a few of the others.

"Great. I don't plan to attack any of you unless you betrayed me or something." Ky said and smiled at them.

Wanna spout some headcanons here.

1. All the Greek demigods can speak Greek and speak it to eachother quite frequently when in public with mortals and sometimes forget to switch back to English when speaking with mortals (same goes for the Romans and latin)

2. CHB has an 'ancient day, where they dress up in togas and ancient Greek clothing and vote on who gets to 'rule the empire's for the day and wear the appropriate clothes. They also do a trivia quiz on myths in the amphitheater and whoever wins chooses capture the flag teams.

3. I'm pretty sure I remember something about harpies or something going after the campers who go outside after hours (pls correct me if I'm wrong about that) but also the Hermes cabin made a game of who can stay out the longest and they sometimes barge into random cabins and the other campers are just uses to it by now. Stoll brothers hold the record for now.

4. Percy sometimes pranks his friends by changing the temp of their shower water by turning it cold bc the cold can't hurt them but might shock them but he always makes sure that they're okay afterward if he feels something went wrong

5. Whenever Thalia and the hunters come around, they go all out in the capture the flag game. Thalia, Percy and Annabeth always go after eachother more than they go after the flag just to mess with eachother. Like they'll have a clear opportunity to get the flag but they'll still go after eachother if they have the chance.

6. There's some kind of bank at CHB that can trade drachma for American dollars in case someone wants to go out into the world and don't have money.

7. Since it's a strawberry farm to mortals, some would hear about it and then try to pick some strawberries but Chiron has to tell them that they can't do that and sends the very disappointed mortals on their way. This happens at least once a year.

8. Hephaestus cabin made a special chariot that acts as a car but gets pulled around by horses or pegasi and so some demi-gods can learn to drive on the chariot course and they sometimes set up obstacles like Canada's worst driver style

9. Percy likes to take the new campers swimming and he "drowns" and then the new kid goes to someone telling them that percy drowned but everyone just doesn't care and is slightly confused by what they're saying

10. If percy had a job, he'd work at an aquarium and defend that animals like "I don't think he likes the sardines you're feeding him." And he'd tell the fish to troll the trainers and people and fail shows for laughs

11. (Thus is a joke one) percy is the reason the orcas are attacking boats. Because people over fish the waters and fish are friends, not food

Hi. Super new to the Supernatural Fandom and I'm only a few eps into s4. Basically I just finished ished the episode where Dean is scared of everything and nearly dies bc of it.in the end, Sam's eyes did a little flash of yellow like the yellow eyed demon. And since we all know that the demon made Sam into what he is so like. I have a theory and I want people to just say whether it's true or not bc now I NEED to know so pls tell me.

Basically my theory is that the demon was once human, like Sam, and a demon before had done to him what he did to Sam and the other kids and then the current demon won the competition thing to see who's strongest. Still following? OK. So basically we all know that Sam was meant to lead a demon army eight? Okay. And Dean was told to stop Sam from going down whatever path he was going down with his powers and all that. He hasn't been doing a very good job of stopping Sam from doing is power stuff and I feel like that's how he'll become the demon leader.

Okay so I have a couple theories.

1. If Sam uses his powers then he becomes more and more likely to become the demon army leader

2. The yellow-eyed demon knew he would have to die or something in order for Sam to take over

3. Yellow-eyed demon that they killed was the previous demon army leader. (Everything went to shit after he died plus gates of hell opened)

4. There's been previous yellow-eyed demons and they all came to be the same way Sam kinda is

5. Their dad knew that Sam would become the next yellow-eyed demon and that's why he told Dean to stop Sam and also why Dean told Sam to never use his powers and got mad when he found out he learned while he was dead.

6. Sam can exorcize the demons without speaking our without anything really is because he's supposed to be The leader and he's forcing the other demons to listen to him bc if he's a leader then he has to be stronger than the others

Anyway. Half of those rely on eachother being true. Can someone who knows some stuff about the show pls tell me. I am very eager to find out if I was smart enough to figure it out before the show told me bc it makes me happy. Anyway if someone does let me know I will be eternally grateful. This is my current hyperfixation and it's kinda become my comfort show

I keep seeing all these things about siblings and how most siblings tend to make weird noises at eachother to greet eachother so now I'm wondering how an alien would react to that cause for me personally me and my brother call eachother by name but in the most voice Crack way possible or we just scream at eachother.

Brother: *screeches name as loud as possible*

Sister: *hears brothers calls and looks toward sound to make sure it was brother*

Alien with sister: is someone dying? You heard that awful sound too right?

Sister: yeah I heard it. Don't worry though it's nothing bad. *screeches back at brother*

Brother: *makes random noise*

Alien: are you sure everything is okay? I'm pretty sure the guide said that humans are in pain or scared when they scream or yell like that

Sister: yeah I'm sure. Just give me a minute *walks out of room to go see brother*

Sister: *comes back flipping brother off through the door*

Alien: *visibly confused* why are you trying to insult your familial? That hand gesture means something very rude so why do it to your family?

Sister: *still looking at brother and flipping him off* oh its fine. We do this all the time. We just give eachother the middle finger until one gives up
