Ethan gained to courage one the day to actually talk to you and he befriended you. He goes over and beyond for you. Whatever you needed he’ll do it, if it’s raining he’ll give you his jacket no matter how much you protest.

He followed you around like a lost puppy, attached to your hip. Wherever you were he was right there beside. Ethan will drop everything just to hang out with you and he’ll quickly become irritated if you chose to hang out with your friends instead of him. Yet, you never batted a eye the times he seemed a little too possessive for a friend.

You’ll find small things missing from your room like your perfume, conditioner, or your clothes. He’ll spray your perfume around his room to feel like you were always there or spray it on his pillow imagining he was cuddling with you. Or he’ll sniff your conditioner and imagine it was your hair. He was obsessed with you and there was no way of shaking him.

One day, when the two of you were hanging out together in your room. You told him that you were going on a date with some guy that the two of you knew and needed help finding a outfit. You didn’t notice the dark look in his eye or the way his jaw clenched.

He was waiting on his bed expecting a call from you and you did exactly that. Sounding upset since your date seemingly stood you up, and you were ranting to him about your night. And Ethan laid and bed with a smile knowing your date was laying dead in a random alley. He faked concerned inviting you to come over to his place, feeling pride in his chest.

When you showed you were engulfed in Ethan’s arms, as you cried from embarrassment. He walked you to his room while cooing soft reassuring words into your ear.

He saw this as an opportunity to take advantage of this situation. He sat down on the bed with you as he caressed arm telling you that your the most beautiful woman his ever seen and going on about how much he loved.

When he asked you out, he held his breath waiting for your response. He was terrified that all his hard work would go to waste if you rejected him and then you said yes he felt as if the world stoped.

He felt the sudden urge to kiss you, so he asked and you agreed eagerly moved by his confession. The kiss was slow and gentle and Ethan couldn’t believe that this was happening. He lightly grabbed your jaw to bring you closer even if there wasn’t any space to begin with.

And before you knew it he deepened the kiss and stealing the breath away from you. He soon became addicted to kissing you and he knew the two of you were meant to be with the way your lips fit so perfectly together.

He would stop at nothing to make sure the two of you stay together and he’ll kill anyone who gets in between you two.

You dragged yourself out of bed despite having pains all throughout your body. You sighed when you caught a glimpse of yourself in the mirror. Your hair was matted and stuck to your clammy forehead on strands.

Your lips were chapped and your eyes had a burning sensation, "K-kol?" Your throat felt scratchy as you talked, and your voice sounded unsteady.

"Darling, are you feeling well?" Kol spoke with a hint of concern in his voice.

You cleared your throat, "Yeah, I’m fine I just need some aspirin."

Kol stroked the back of your head and murmured, "You need to be in bed. You're heating up." He sounded like a worried mother.

"No."  You swatted his hand away and said, "No, I'm good. I need to prepare for an exam today."

Kol glared at you, hating your stubbornness as always. You pushed yourself continuously until you were unable to. Considering how committed you are to your academics, you may even forget about your basic requirements. "There is no need to debate this. Lay down right now." He spoke firmly, giving no space for argument.

"But K-" Your vision began to blur as you attempted to argue, "Kol something's wrong," you whimpered. You leaned against the dresser, feeling lightheaded.

Kol pulled you into him with his hands around your waist and commanded, "Love, tell me what's wrong." He awaited a response.

Your mouth opened and closed as unconsciousness overcame you. Kol felt your body go limp against his and his concern peaked immediately, "Shit."

When your eyes first opened, bright lights blinded you and kept doing so until your eyes adjusted. "Darling, you're finally awake," Kol exclaimed to her from behind, his arms around her waist.

"Where are we?" You said, scooting closer to him.

Kol massaged your arm "The hospital. Your blood is about to be drawn for a test." He explained when he noticed a hint of panic in her eyes.

Soon after, the nurse entered with a tray filled with medical supplies "You're awake. How do you feel, hun?" The elder woman enquired as she prepared.

"A little drowsy."

She wrapped A tourniquet around your upper arm. The nurse began to use her finger to locate a vein, "You slept for some time. You had your boyfriend over here worried." She spoke with a smile.

A tube with a needle was brought out by the nurse after donning gloves. " It'll be a short prick, doll," she assured as she cleaned the area with a disinfectant wipe. Even though her words didn't calm your fears.

"It will be fast, dear."  Kol noticed you tensing up as the needle approached and murmured in your ear. As she put the needle in, you hissed and squeezed his hand. Kol ran his other hand over your hair.

"See quick and easy."

The nurse took out the needle once there was enough blood in the tube. Then applied a bandage and cotton to the open cut, saying, "I'll be back with the results."

You felt Kol nuzzle his head in the crook of your neck. You turned around in his arm, lifting his face up. You saw his eyes were bloodshot as veins under his eyes, "Kol, your face." You whispered.

He attempted to cover his face, but you stopped him by holding him tenderly "Don't hide, it's beautiful. Would you like blo-"

He interrupted you and said, "No, not while you're sick." He inhaled deeply as the veins started to fade.

The nurse returned after a brief period of silence, saying, "Now the test indicate you merely have the flu." As she walked in.

"Why did she collapse then?"

When the nurse handed you the test results, she remarked, "She must have been undernourished. When was the last time you ate a complete meal?" She prompted you.

"Roughly two days ago."

"That's why she passed out and her getting sick enhanced everything," The nurse shook her head somberly. maintaining eye contact Kol, she stated "Now, make sure she stays hydrated while at home. Avoid junk food and rest."

"You heard the nurse, darling, you need to get some rest."

"No, Kol. I must take that exam. You objected and made a feeble attempt to push past him.

You were tossed over Kol's shoulder as he rolled his eyes. He moved over to your shared bed and set you down gently. "No, eat your soup and we'll watch Supernatural for the rest of the day," he said as he drew the covers over your body and tucked you in. The he sat on your side of the bed.

"Fine, but you must compel my professor to give me another chance," you grumbled. You opened your mouth as Kol served you the soup.

Sarah shared her laughter, "Even Shane Jovian was rejected by her. Compared to her boyfriend, he's a 10." She replied while glancing at Mike's back.

Mike's leg bounced as he scoffed at the words. He considered Shane Jovian. He was aware that Shane has been interested in you for a while, but he didn't actually believe Shane would make a move on you. The more he considered it, why did you turn down Shane?

You and Shane would make the ideal couple. You are the head cheerleader, and he is the team captain on the football team. He reasoned that Shane was everything Mike.

Mike was viewed as a freak who despises gatherings and sports. Shane shared similar passions as you did. He was tall and strong enough to defend you from anyone. While Mike was taller, he was also quite skinny and had no idea how to throw a punch.

"She could honestly do better. She should just leave him." Sarah said.

Mike scowled as he threw a sidelong glance at the two girls. He looked Sarah in the eye then she pretended to be reading. He let out a sigh as he continued to ponder their statements.

What if you break up with him for Shane?

Mike's knuckles grew white from how tightly he was holding the desk, and he felt his throat start to tighten.

Mike immediately gathered his belongings and left the classroom as soon as the bell rang.

You got out of class earlier than normal, so you stood outside his classroom, "Hey ba-" You attempted to greet him, but he ignored you.

Catching sight of his face, you were worried, "Mike, wait up!" You yelled while the other students pushed by you. When you attempted to take his hand, he snatched it back and asked, "Mike, what's wrong?"

Mike continued on his route to his destination without turning around. His trembling fingers was fumbling with the lock as he stopped at his locker. He continued to look down, biting his lower lip. Mike let out a frustrated groan as he dropped the lock.

What the hell is going on, Mike? You grabbed him by the upper arm and hauled him inside an empty classroom. Making an effort to meet his eyes.

He avoided making eye contact while looking around the classroom and responding, "Nothing."

"Tell me what's going on in that head of yours," you said while holding his hands in yours.

Mike eventually looked at you after releasing a nervous breath "Why are you dating me? Why not go for someone who is more attractive. Why would someone like you want to be with me? I mean, look at you." He ranted.

"Babe where is all this coming from."

"I overheard your friends mocking our relationship after Shane asked you out."

You exhaled, "Listen, Mike. I can't even describe how attracted to you I am. Shane is an empty-headed jock who simply wants to date me for sex, and I couldn't care less about him." As you stated, "However, you don't want to date me to show off as some sort of prize. Mike, you are sincere. You don't put on a facade to blend in; you are who you are. Therefore, I love you. I'll choose you over everyone else because of that."

As your hands held Mike's waist, he felt your lips brush against his.  "Now, tell me who was talking shit about you," he moaned as you intensified your kiss.

↳ The two of you met in chemistry when paired together to be partners.

↳ Mike was hesitant to speak to you before the two of you had even gotten to know one another. He was aware of your friendship with the popular group from your high school years.

↳ When you tried to start up a conversation, he’ll only answer you with short answers.

↳ He observed you all day even though he was too nervous to talk to you. He will, for instance, tune out Dustin's conversation throughout lunch since he is focused on you. Mike was in awe of how your eyes lit up when you laughed or how big you smiled.

↳ Then one day, the two of you were assigned an project that was a huge part of your grade. Mike invited you to come to his house, so y’all can work on the project. Karen and Nancy loved you and your sunshine attitude.

↳ During the time of working on the project, you noticed how attractive Mike really was. You’ve never really had a chance to admire him because in class he’ll never fully look at you.

↳ You began to ask Mike about his interests in an attempt to get to know him. He compiled after a few minutes of pestering, and in return you told him about yourself. Mike was actually surprised that the two of you had similar interests.

↳ You were the one to ask Mike out. At first, he thought you were dared to ask him out but when you assured him you were serious he said yes.

↳ Secret makeouts in the janitor’s closet.

↳ Mike initially wished to keep your relationship a secret out of concern for what might happen to you if your friends discovered that you were dating him.  However, you informed him that you didn't give a damn what people thought as long as the two of you were happy.

↳ You’ll drag him to parties which took a lot of convincing for him to come.

↳ He’ll stay after school to watch you practice. Mike even walks you home everyday and tries to attend the games you cheer in.

↳ Mike will teach you how to play DND since you were curious about what he spends his extra time on. When he introduced you to the Hellfire group everyone was shocked that you were with him.

↳ Though he’ll feel insecure about your relationship, you are always there to assure him. Even going as far as to cuss out anyone who makes fun of your relationship.
