I've seen "I don't know how to play with toys anymore" a few times lately and just wanted to point out-

Playing with toys looks different for everyone, even actual children!

Taking pictures of your toys and writing captions for them

Brushing or grooming soft toys or toys with rooted hair

Ordering or sorting your toys by colour/species etc

Making up stories, poems or comics about your toys

Dressing or accessorising your toys

Imagining your toys talking to you or each other, forming opinions of their own, etc

Drawing your toys

Taking your toys for a walk outside, even in a backpack or pocket if you don't want to carry them openly

Making lists of the toys you have and where you got them etc

✧.* he still tries to be responsible when he needs to be, making sure you've eaten at least once that day, making sure you don't stay up too late, etc. he can't be too lax with bedtimes and things like that!!!

✧.* y'know how he refers to himself in the third person? he just switches out his name with whatever cg title his little calls him!!! if his little doesn't call him anything specific, he'll either keep referring to himself by name, or just default to "papa" :D

✧.* he is constantly trying to find more activities for his little, to keep them entertained while they're regressed!!! one of the last things he'd want is for his little to be bored while they're regressed!!!

✧.* lets his little wear his trench coat!!! whenever the other x-men sees gambit without his coat, they can expect to find gambit's little wearing it!!! sometimes, he lets his little use it as a blanket while they nap :)

✧.* he's a big fan of cuddles, if his little lets him!!! he loves carrying around his little, hugging them, holding their hand, just sitting and having them in his arms... he's just very keen on physical contact!!! it makes him feel more connected with his little!!!

✧.* and he respects if his little doesn't want to be touched!!! he just uses his words to voice his affection instead!!! as long as his little is happy, then he's happy too.

✧.* absolutely loves to cook for his little!!! he loves trying to introduce his little to new orleans cuisine, since he grew up with it himself. it's even more fun to cook when he lets his little help him!!!

✧.* sometimes, he worries if he's a bad influence on his little. he can be a bit reckless at times, whether during battle or in an every day situation. he tries to be the best he can be when he's with his little, so he tries to be extra careful!!!

✧.* "Sometimes it's best to do as papa says, not as papa does. Alright, petit?"

✧.* overall, he's definitely one of the coolest cg's around!!! i'm definitely going to write an agere fic of him in the future if anyone's interested >:)
