Everyone is talking about how in s6 adrien’s gonna be in the truman show and slowly realize that something isn’t right until he discovers it in the season finale or something

And I LOVE THIS

However I think the way he would find out is that his duolingo streak reset

Theres all this weird crap and strange discontinuity happening around him but he doesn’t notice until he’s showing off his streak in Chinese and kagami’s like “lol only 3 months? Come back when you have a real streak”

He double takes at the phone.

“That-that’s not right! I had three streak freezes! I haven’t missed a day since i was six!”

And this spurs an investigation lasting several episodes in which he makes his way into the lair under the house and hes like “all the clues lead here… but what does this have to do with my duolingo???”

Funniest thing about miraculous ladybug is that Marinettes problem for the episode will be something like “OMG I have to give this important presentation at school AND talk to a pretty boy WHILE fighting a super villain this is gonna be tough 😅” meanwhile adrien is just in the corner like “this morning I woke up at 6:08 instead of 6:00 and so my father withheld his monthly hug :(, hopefully my day as cat noir will go better” and then he gets like turned into like a sentient Lego brick or something

shoutout to when we first got a glimpse of Luka and my entire dash was blue for 2 months and everyone characterized him as this cool bad boy type and then we get introduced to him and the more we see him the more he actually just turns out to be this weird music freak who speaks in riddles and is obsessed with reading your aura

@bugtails hilarious post reminded me of this hc I made 3 years back so here you go

K just announcing that because I said so it’s canon that Nino and Mari used to play minecraft together pre-series, and eventually Nino tells Adrien how to download Minecraft w/o his dad knowing.

The following antics ensue: 

1. The minute he joins the server Mari accidentally hits him while trying to pass him something and he falls into lava. Nino is laughing his ass off and Marinette apologizes a million times over while trying to hold back her own laughter (and tears). 

2. Adrien’s dumbass keeps dying by creeper explosion. Also he got the nickname pumpkin head bc he’s so scared of enderman attacks that whenever one is spotted he wears a pumpkin for the  next 30 minutes or so. 

3. One day Adrien doesn’t show up to school and Chloe tells everyone it was because his dog died. Everyone is like “I didn’t know adrien had a dog???” and chloe is like “See this just proves I know Adrien best >:).” Meanwhile Nino and Marinette are both face palming and holding back laughter at the fact Adrien stayed home because his minecraft dog drowned. They find him a kitty to tame later that day and he names him chat noir (His original choice was plagg, but he was stopped for obvious reasons) 

4. During a village raid Marinette’s fight or flight response is triggered when she’s cornered and she screams “lucky charm” at the top of her lungs and dies shortly after. She nervously says it was a joke and while Nino is making fun of her for dying he hits the iron golem by accident and also dies. Adrien survives by digging a hole in the ground and hiding before saying it was kinda cute how much mari sounded like ladybug. Marinette mutes her mic and screams. 

5. Plagg and tikki play sometimes while their owners are sleeping. The minecraft trio is very delighted to find that the game “glitched” and they have a few extra diamonds, but it turns into sadness when they realize one of their little houses is partially blown up. Meanwhile Tikki has a tiny smile on her face and plagg eats his cheese so fast he chokes. 

Anyway these are all canon 100% have a nice day and goodbye.

Nathalie has been sat still staring at her phone and its one incriminating message for what must be almost half an hour.

Adrien knows.

The door to her office slams open.

Adrien looks a mess. His hair is dishevelved, and he's breathing heavily like he's been running. Maybe he has been.

He looks, for the first time she's noticed in a long time, like his father. Like Gabriel had used to coming into her bedroom after a failure to beat Ladybug and Chat Noir.

He looms over her with Gabriel's height, with his fury, but the disappointment in his eyes is wholly his own.

Gabriel's had looked different. It had never really been her who had disappointed him as much as it had been the world. Himself. Magic.

But Adrien-

It's Nathalie who's failed Adrien.

He closes the door carefully, quietly, and then turns back towards her, collopsing back against it.

"Were you ever going to tell me the truth?"

Hidden by her desk her nails dig into her thighs, "which truth?"

"That my father was Monarch? That I'm not even human? That we live in a world my father created? That Ladybug lied to everyone?"

"You are human."

"I'm a sentimonster. Just like all those ones you and father created and discarded."

She wants to cry. She wants to go over and hug him. Instead she settles for a firm, "No."

"No? Don't lie to me again!"

"No," she repeats, "You were created with the Peaocck Miraculous, but you were created to be human. You are human. Trust me I'd know."

"Trust you?"

"Like you said. I made others. I can tell the difference."

"Right." He presses at his temples, "did you never consider telling me?"

"You told me Ladybug gave you the ring. Between that, and well whatever your father told her to get her to give it to you, and to lie to the city I assumed she knew how you were born and what that ring meant to you. And that she'd told you. Or that Felix would have. Because I'm pretty sure-"

"Yeah he knows," Adrien inturrupts her, "and you never thought about checking? About making sure I kept my soul safe on my finger?"

"I was a coward. I didn't want to lose you when you knew what I'd done. I supporse that's why your father never told you."

"You suppose?"

"I tried to convince him to tell you early on. Before things got worse between you. And then he didn't. And they did. He did. Then he died. And everyone, including you, wre saying he was a hero. And you had the ring, I assumed Ladybug had told you what it was and...I was selfish. I thought if Gabriel got to get away with it all and be a hero in his mind then why should I and my relationship with you have to take the fall?"

"Yeah well," Adrien exhales, "apparently that's something you and Ladybug have in common."
