Create myself as a new Addams Family cousin named Decadant Addams. I am a 40 year old gay male that is a bookworm, obsessed with astrology, loves good food, and enjoys the dark side of life. If I was rich then I would want this in my fruit themed room that showcased LGBTQ+ Icons.

I didn't really feel like I fit in the gay community I experienced as a young adult in Austin and rural East Texas. I was taught love for others growing up and I did not experience that after coming out from the gay community. My experience was seeing racism and very superficial people, so putting gay icons on the wall in a tongue and cheek room would be weird for me. I still kinda want to do this, but it would probably be more like a way to showcase some BIPOC gay icons while having a whimsical fruit room. In my life experiences, I have been shown more love from BIPOC after coming out(Well pushed out) in high school and found more kindness from BIPOC LGBTQ+ as I first started experiencing the gay community.

Well this post took a serious turn. It's ok because I want to speak my truth. I lose touch with people and I am not very social; however, I will always remember the people that had a positive impact on my life and many of those people are BIPOC. It has reinforced the love I was taught from a kind mother and helped me grow as I listened to the life experiences of BIPOC I became friends with throughout the years.

Not feeling like I fit in with the community is the same as I don't feel like I fit in this world either. My ideal world would be a cool 70s/80s utopia with no hate or suffering. It would definitely be a peaceful place with everyone being equal and having equal opportunities. No starvation or war. Also there would be some cool extraterrestrials in their futuristic UFOs.

I am reading through X-Men comics when taking a break from books. These are not what I expected, but it probably took them a bit to find their stride. I am just used to the 90s X-Men cartoon; therefore, I'll deal with the weird costumes until Jubilee shows up!!! She was my favorite in the 90s.
