This should be a rant on my personal blog but fuck it I want more people to see this: Recently things have been pretty shit for me, I’m not gonna go into specifics but if you wanna know hit me up with an inbox, and like a lot of times in my life it feels like everything bad comes at once and good things come in short experiences and I know it feels like this for a lot of other people too. The way I’ve learnt to rationalise this is thinking of events in my life as weather: There’s rainy days and all the drops are shit events, there’s a lot of them because they’re probably coming from a similar place and have a similar cause, and usually you can’t do much about it so get out your umbrella and walk through it with your head held high, then there’s the normal days, the days where nothing much happens and life could carry on without it, there’s the snow which could make you happy or sad depending on what happened before it: a big event could be ruined if the day before was shit and the ground is wet, but amongst all of these there’s those days of brilliant sun when everything goes well and you remember it because it made you feel better than any day before it. I wish there was more sun but my life appears to be dominated by the rain but maybe, if we got together when it rained and shared umbrella’s, collected together on the dry spots under trees and got through the days together, maybe the rain could be ignored and we can look past everything and into the bright sunny days that will be sure to come. Now that I’ve got that off my chest I’m gonna go back to my non-scheduled shitposting
