NCT 127 first win!!

I know I’m a little late to the party for a lot of things but I just wanted to say a word of congratulations to the boys! 🎉

It has been quite a rough ride, especially when they could have literally snagged their very first win with 7th Sense, which topped music charts on music shows before their debut stage. Sure, they might have lost that opportunity, but one cannot deny that it was a pretty amazing feat for a rookie group. There have been groups who snag their first win a short time after debut, but only NCT so far (please correct me if I’m wrong) has made it to that extent.

Unlike their other songs such as Firetruck and Limitless, Cherry Bomb was not a song that was an immediate chart-topper and even threatened to fall out of the Melon music charts, despite a 2.4 million view count on Youtube within 24 hours, and the members did share their genuine fears on this, in which Doyoung mentioned that he constantly streams it, even when his phone is on silent mode.

Furthermore, the boys also took the risk of refusing to change the lyrics in order to meet KBS standards, rendering them not being able to perform their true comeback song and settling with “0 Mile”. Nevertheless, I am proud of the boys for standing by their music, and did not change the lyrics simply because it would lose the true intensity and meaning of the song.

However, due to the support of NCTzens, they have finally won their very first win on M! Countdown and I could not have been prouder of the boys. :) Once again, the road has not been easy but thank you NCT 127 for gifting fans with lit songs and hopefully, you guys will continue to walk the path of flowers and success that you guys deserve. :) Apparently, Johnny teared up and Taeyong was in tears during the encore, and it was indeed a touching moment when they had a group hug during the encore. :’)

Let’s keep supporting the boys and may they continue to snag more awards in the near future!

Yay!! For all those who are still unsure on why we are called "NCTzen", that's because "NCT" sounds like "N-City" and hence, since we are the fans of the band, it's almost as if we are "citizens"! ^^ It's pretty clever if you ask me, and when pronounced, it's almost like saying "Ncitizen"! ^^ Calling all my NCTzens!! 💖

As y'all might know, I am a huge Doyoung stan so this would explain why I only posted Doyoung's teaser pictures, but can I just say that he is looking absolutely F I N E in this??? I really don't get why he's being slept on but this guy has so much talent. He has amazing vocals (proven) and let us all appreciate the fact that he's actually one of the greatest speakers for a band (he actually memorised the concept of NCT and has no trouble reciting it out). Furthermore, despite his savage comments and jokes, he genuinely cares for his members and is apparently the second nagger after Mum- Taeyong. If that's not enough to stan him, I don't know what is.

So please, stop sleeping on him. Doyoung deserves so much more. 🐰

PRODUCE 101 SEASON 2

This is not Monsta-X related, however, I feel that I should really put this out there, especially with the fact that Monsta-X is still a band that gets slept on all the time.

Presenting to you the Justice League team of Produce 101 Season 2 consisting of PLEDIS’ Hwang Minhyun and Kim Jonghyun, MMO’s Kang Daniel, Fantagio’s Ong Seongwoo, YGK+’s Kwon Hyunbin and individual trainee, Kim Jaehwan. On episode 4 of PRODUCE 101 SEASON 2, Justice League performed Sorry Sorry and finished with stellar results of a total of 522 votes in total from an audience of a 1000.

Now, many would be wondering why I’m even posting this in the first place and the reason is simple, don’t sleep on talent. True talent. That is what this team brought to light. Sure, many would argue that Nu’est was a well-established band but think about it, they are 5 years old and honestly, their hype died off as quick as it started.

Now, they have taken it upon themselves to compete with other trainees to restart all over again and perhaps improve themselves into better beings. They have received a lot of hate, but from the way Minhyun chooses the members to how Jonghyun leads them as a leader (despite Nu’est), it is clear that they deserve way more than what they get from the general public. I think I'm a day late because I was way too busy so happy 1 year to our boys, whether or not they have officially debuted as a part of the NCT band! 🎉 Indeed, time has passed pretty quickly, from SR15B to NCT U, NCT 127 and NCT Dream, all filled with very very talented individuals 💓 (Some of them are still slept on though) but like all of us, I am very very proud of their achievements as a band with 3 music show wins, 12 awards from various awards shows, 8 music videos and a total of 24 songs ☺️ They've grown so much and I cannot wait to see what's in store for them, especially since we have the new member, Lucas Wong Yukhei. 🙌🏻 Welcome to the fam and all the best to NCT in the near future!! #1YearWithNCT
