Deadpool & Wolverine reaction/random first thoughts.
(We’re back!)
It might be the camera angle but it would be really funny and great if they are making Wolverine shorter than Deadpool (They were able to make Robert Downey Jr look of normal height so they can do movie magic).
Love the saying on Wade’s gun (I feel like I’ve seen the joke before from one of the comics but I’m so behind in the times when it comes to that)
Wolverine with the classic suit looks a lot better than I thought it would from the behind the scenes pictures.
are they in The Void (at the end of the timeline, there are apparently multiple voids in the Marvel universe)? The destroyed ship in the background looks like the one from Loki Season 1.
What happened to Wolverine’s world? I have never been to into the X-men but I don’t remember those pillars or Wolverine specifically causing the apocalypse (Beast, Wanda, etc yeah. But Wolverine?) got to look into that more.
I’m really curious if the TVA is Pre-Loki or Post-Loki
YUP it is the void! Alioth and Ant-Man’s head makes me 100% certain!!!
Little sad Dog Pool ain’t a big dog or a Xolo but still cute and hairless.
Is the Bald person a TVA Agent (that Jacket looks like it belongs to Mobius lol) or a variant of the Ancient One?
Overall, very excited!!!

Saw your comment abt having a long theory/headcanon abt Al and Vox's Alliance/friendship, so like, share with the class, I need to hear every single theory abt them, I'm so normal abt them
Well since you asked~: I think that they not only had an alliance but it was actually ALASTOR that formed it. I know a lot of people think Vox would be the one to approach Al, I don’t think that would work. Vox would either be a nobody or a newcomer at the time they would meet. Al is arrogant and likes to be in control of things. He wouldn’t hear out Vox. BUT other way around makes sense. Alastor could have used the reasoning of “I’m bored and wanna see if alliances are entertaining” or (my theory) “This guy’s power can boost my own and vice versa…plus, I don’t want to do all the boring Overlord paperwork.” Because if the whole “Alastor became an Overlord due to technicality” thing is still canon, then he wouldn’t have signed up for anything but his own goals. Vox was probably atleast kinda interested in Alastor and also saw the potential of teaming. They worked kinda well up until their individual flaws started to bother each other. And no, I don’t think the main reason was: Old vs New. I think it was the conflicts underneath that issue that led to them becoming enemies. Actual conflicts: 1) Alastor is a mysterious loner who likes to keep things close to chest and Vox literally has cameras everywhere and wants to be on top of everything going on. Including with what his business partners are doing. 2) Alastor is arrogant and hates change, especially changing things for others (“People don’t like my radio shows? Don’t care! I do it for myself and those that do like it”) and Vox constantly needing attention and validation due to his own insecurity (“I’m losing viewers?! Quick, what trending right now? Or how can I improve this to be better?”). And finally 3) They both have tempers and think they’re usually in the right.
This also makes me think that it had to be Vox’s fault (Kinda) for the ‘breakup’. Alastor has been shown to be too stubborn to admit when he’s wrong and too tolerant of people doing things he shouldn’t tolerate just because they either get on his good side or are useful to him (*cough* Mimzy *cough*). So he probably would tolerate (to a degree) Vox’s constant need for attention and validation and constant push for fame and change. But, Al also has strict lines in the sand he won’t stand and when they’re crossed he snaps VERY aggressively (Husk touching a secretive matter when he is already pissed off in that hallway scene). So I can easily see Vox ‘improving’ (completely modernizing it or just putting things in there without permission) Alastor’s radio station as being enough to make Al destroy their alliance for good and make Vox look really bad. And this would also explain how the other Overlords see the Vees. Vox got a seat on their table by being buddy buddy with one of the most feared and THE most unpredictable Overlord. But if their partnership failing was seen as Alastor deeming the newcomer as a failure then the other Overlords would see Vox and the other Vees in a similar negative way (“Smug wannabes, who don’t heed when they’ve been warned!” -Carmilla). Because despite Zestiel questioning Alastor and Carmilla’s snide remark, they still treat Alastor (Guy who disappeared for 7 YEARS and hasn’t been doing much after killing other OVERLORDS they probably knew for a longer time) with a lot of respect. Zestiel still gives him proper greetings and more respectfully talks to him versus how he talks to Velvette. And Carmilla, still does welcome him back. He literally sits near the oldest out of all of them and the leader of the meeting. VS Carmilla acting like the Vees were either expected not to show or weren’t even invited. Zestiel rudely interrupting Vel while she’s talking, to point out how she’s wrong without letting her finish. And again, Vel seems to assume the end of the table is for her, as if the Vees are usually seated at the very last spot available. And the Vees have been around for those 7 years gaining more power. Almost like the old-timers once gave the newcomers a chance at the table but they ruined it for themselves. (*cough* one of the most powerful and vicious overlords in a group took one of you under his wing and you somehow ended up destroying that powerful alliance and replacing it with a loud pimp and a rude brat. *cough*)
SO…That my Ted-Talk. I basically do think Al and Vox were a famously good alliance at one point amongst the Overlords but when their flaws got on each other’s nerves and they ‘broke up’ (professionally/platonically), even the other Overlords simply around the two started to pick sides. I.E: Old-timers seeing the arrogance and foolishness of the young blood vs The Vees seeing a bunch of pompous fossils refusing to change for the better.
P.S. This makes me REALLY curious about Miss Zeezi since she obviously is from a more modern era (70s or 90s). Did she somehow get on the Vees bad side and that made the old-timers like her or something? Or did one of the Old guys do what Al and Vox did but make it work this time?

My Reaction to Deadpool 3 trailer:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I promise I’ll actually try to come up with better thought out posts after I’m done hyping myself up for the movie.
Also the fact that Wade calls himself Marvel Jesus is even funnier when you remember in the comics there was at least one time where Loki hinted at being Wade’s dad. And Loki is currently the Multiverse’s ‘God’…I don’t know but I thought it was funny

So…I just found out how Alastor beat Husk in the game and got his soul (Takes this with a grain of salt, I’m not a gambling historian just a history nerd)
So I decided to do some history about Vegas and it’s gambling for other reasons and found out something. Vegas in the 1930s had JUST begun to become a gambling spot. While in New Orleans it was being considered the ‘Wickedest Spot in the Union’ in the 1920s. And in the 1930s still had a lot of illegal gambling happening. Why is that? Because it was the origin of America Poker all the way back in the 1800s. Because French colonists brought a similar older game with them when they showed up in Louisiana.
Meaning/ Tl;Dr:
Husk literally grew up in a place where Poker might’ve been played but not that popularly until the 1950s where it reached its peak and kept going upwards. So at most his gambling golden years were when he was an adult in his 30s or 40s.
While Alastor had to have been around Poker (Specifically games where it was common to cheat because it was all illegal at the time) his entire life and experienced its peak in his 20s.
So that mixed with Husk’s addiction to the thrill of gambling + Alastor basically having a poker face 24/7… Kinda not a huge stretch to believe Al beat him without needing his powers as some people think.
Again, not a historian and I seriously doubt this was INTENTIONAL. But it’s a fun historical explanation to consider at least.
(Also I promise I’ll try to make this the last Hazbin Hotel thing I post, I’m so sorry people who follow me for MCU stuff lol)

My convoluted theory about who owns Alastor’s soul:
Ok so this is bit long so buckle-up.
I think Alastor tried to summon Lilith as a mortal to make a deal with her (I don’t know why, maybe he thought the cops where on him or maybe he thought his mortality was getting in the way or something), but someone else popped up pretending to be Lilith (either Eve or Roo but I’m putting my money on Eve), they made a contract and the person signed it with Lilith’s name making the deal a bit of a fraud. Alastor gets some demon powers and the person wrongfully has Al’s soul. Al dies, works for ‘them’ for a bit, finds out about ‘their’ plan to cause a war to destroy both heaven and hell, realizes the truth, goes to Lilith and tells her everything. Lilith, “The Chain-breaker” isn’t ok with this and teams up with Al to deal with ‘Them’. She technically never gave Alastor her part of the deal so she basically goes: “I’ll give you more power and your soul, in exchange: Help me fight Eve and if something goes wrong protect my daughter.” They confront and fight Eve, Shit goes sideways, Lilith is either trapped or dead and Alastor barely escapes alive using the 7 years to recuperate. When he’s healed up, he goes to protect Charlie.
There are probably some errors with this, but so far it seems pretty good.
Fun little add-ons to the theory:
Eve (Got tired of typing “Them”) might still have Alastor’s soul but I kinda doubt it, cause she would have destroyed it by now. More likely Alastor got his soul back and the powers from Lilith but he was so beat up when he left that Eve just assumed he died.
Maybe the reason Alastor hates Lucifer is because he assumed the worst by how Lilith talked about him and why she didn’t want to include him in the mess. Alastor hearing a woman say: “No! We cannot tell him, he’ll react horribly to it.” Won’t assume it’s because the husband is a softie who’s already depressed.
Eve probably doesn’t pay attention to hell’s going ons and is still hidden somewhere. BUT if someone goes around looking for her, the reason for Al’s disappearance she’ll realize he ain’t dead. Might be the reason he doesn’t want people to be nosy.
Probably kept his promise with protecting Charlie because he liked Lilith (Once on his good side people can ask a lot from him *cough* Mimzy *cough*) and because the hotel could be a good place to hide from Eve.
So…What do you guys think?

Just Finished Echo…Is it bad that I think this kinda makes Hawkeye obsolete now? (Spoilers)
Like yeah, we got the girls and Clint was neat too but like…But when I see Echo or Kingpin again, I don’t think I’ll rewatch the show for it. Also, I like how they did the sign language and how we got to experience things from Maya’s pov. And of course, elephant in the room, Sure the power change from the comics was weird but I didn’t really mind it. Right now I’m neutral, but who knows; maybe seeing it in a later project will make me have a more definitive answer on whether I hate it or like it.

Shitpost theory: You know how some people say that Thanos is nerfed in the What If? series? Well, if we are going with the theory that What If? or atleast the second season is post Loki Season 2...
WHAT IF Loki messed with Thanos existence in the branch timelines out of petty revenge? Like, he probably knows Thanos is a necessary evil for some of the stories in the Multiverse so he can't wipe the guy out or anything. And messing with him in the slightest way in the main timeline could screw stuff quickly. But then he sees Ultron in front of Thanos and just goes: "How about we make Ultron's laser a tad stronger and make the Titan's reactions a bit slower". And that's just how he relieves stress while stuck in Ygdrassil. Mildly altering branch timelines to make certain events slightly worse for his enemies.
Also, the Watcher doesn't know about this, or else he'd probably react to it, but when he does and he tried to confront Loki it could go like this:
Uatu: "Stop making minor alterations to the timelines!"
Loki: "Oh relax I'm only changing a small detail of the event, the results stay mostly the same. Ultron was going to kill Thanos EVENTUALLY, just changed it from a fight to a quick slice."
Uatu: "But the stories have a destined path they MUST take-"
Loki: "Really? So choosing to speak with Strange, ONLY to remind him how everything was his fault was destiny? Or you using your guardians to fix up the mess? YOU are the one that made an oath to not intervene, not I." *proceeds to let Gamora kill Thanos with the melting stick instead of it only destroying a piece of his armor making a fight occur or something*

Current idiot artist problem:
“ Yeah I can TOTALLY draw this fantastical creature from this one fictional series for the first time well enough to use as a base for my OC AND try to make my own twist on the species even though I have NO real good grasp on the fictional anatomy of it!”
Basically I flew too close to the metaphorical nerdy sun and currently redrawing the same thing multiple times in different places, in different way, just to make a somewhat weirder version of the canon design…Yay…

What If Season 2 Ep. 9 Thoughts (Spoilers):
I called it! Also, love Kahhori’s bilingualism, it’s again better than America’s lol. Also, do you think TVA and/or Loki know this shit is happening and know it can handle itself before they need to intervene, like what the TVA did with Quantumania or since it’s outside of the multiverse like themselves they don’t actually know this is happening. And this isn’t important at all but…I like all versions of cowboy Loki so… Yay cowboy Loki! Zombie Wanda makes a return! I basically just like seeing these cameos and returns. Is it weird that I want something like this to happen in Secret Wars even though I know it would be a big ask? Love the gifting of weapons but seriously sad some of did have to die. I have mix feelings for Strange’s monster design. I get they were trying to combine all the monsters he absorbed but it kinda ended up just looking like a cliche demon I would see in Diablo 3. Besides that, this was the best finale out of the two What If? ones we’ve gotten so far, and that’s saying a lot since I also loved the first season finale! Since it seems the shows are getting better with each season, I wonder what season 3 has to offer?
Also, I now firmly believe Carter would become friends with TVA Loki and/or best friends with Sylvie. And that they would mainly talk about how Uatu is wrong about intervening and sacrifice their love and happiness for the sake of the multiverse. You can’t prove me wrong on this one.

What If? Season 2 Ep. 8 Thoughts/Rambles (This time while I’m watching it) [Spoilers]:
Of course… Of course, the show starts with Tom Hiddleston, the Shakespeare nerd of the MCU. And my guess as to why Loki seems a lot more chill than usual is because Hela and Thor already have a hierarchy for the throne in place instead of two siblings growing up competing for the throne Odin’s bad parenting shines again. And hey! Turns out if the two siblings handle all the royal business, it means Loki’s carefree enough to enjoy himself with theatrics. Though Thor seems weirdly rude (Not Carter’s fault for the thing) compared to his usual ‘evil’ siblings. Maybe he always starts off as kinda arrogant like Odin? Uatu you’re being a downer and your bestie doesn’t appreciate it. Also does that mean multiversal travelers can see The Watcher even if they aren’t all-powerful? And would this be considered an incursion, even though it involves only one timeline? I really love the old-timey versions of all the classic MCU fun, Like the Yellow-Jacket army or the Medieval Destroyer. Welp, This episode confirms that Uatu would probably not get along with TVA Loki or atleast Sylvie would hate him.Science Bros! God I missed those two disaster buddies!
Huh, so you think the reason he likes picking fights with Hogan so much is because his last biggest threat was a big purple guy? Oh god…EITHER CARTER BETTER NOT TRUST STRANGE OR STRANGE BETTER NOT BE THE VILLAIN I THINK HE IS.
Anyways! Great episode, probably my second favorite. Might be my first if certain things weren’t better hinted at and other things didn’t seem so random. There was no real hint to Rogers being the target besides trailer spoiling it, I guess. And why does Scott and Tony talk so modern? If you’re going for the cliche accent atleast commit to the bit. And yeah…I do not trust Strange.

What If? Season 2 Ep. 7 Thoughts (Spoilers)
So…Odin’s parenting continues to show no limits to how bad it is. Also, Frigga ISN’T Hela’s mom? Then who is? Or is this like a Loki situation where the mom’s identity will never be answered in MCU canon? Though this could also just be an alternate timeline change so in main MCU canon she is, idk. Also, are the subtitles to the show ever checked? Because this is like the second time I notice a different choice of word than what was actually said; because Hel isn’t the same as Hell (They should have just said Helheim but whatever). People have already made comparisons of Jiayi with Hela to other Asgardian-Midgardian ‘relationships’ so I’m not gonna repeat it. Also, love the twist that all of us were expecting Odin to be the good guy in the fight only for it to be Hela and Wenwu. Though…This did make me really want to see a fight between Shang-Chi and Thor, won’t happen since they’re both good guys but still. Wait does Thor even exist in this timeline? And Loki might but still curious. Anyways, great episode overall. It did feel like the pacing was rushed compared to the others but the story was probably longer than others to that might be the reason.

What If? Season 2 Ep. 6 thoughts:
Is it weird that even though this isn’t my favorite so far, I do think it is objectively the best? Like my favorite movie is probably AvP but I would NEVER call that the best Alien or Predator movie. This is a similar situation. I love the references to history and I’m always glad to see different cultures being a part of media. Kahorri was an interesting Protag for the story but I think we only saw her personality truly shine in the beginning and the end of the episode. Kinda wish her powers were just her own, but since she still is the best at using it and will be the only character using it for the rest of the series (atleast my guess) I don’t really mind. It was really interesting seeing two non-English languages intermingle, albeit for bad reasons. I completely understood one but was really amazed to have never heard the other one. It was a cool experience. Oh and Strange…If he’s doing an evil scheme, I’m gonna say I called it. Also, Uatu has now witnessed to kidnappings in a row, he’s gonna run out of protagonists soon lol.
