This reminds me of the kylin rpg I played last night. ๐โ xd (I played as Kya btw)
Okay so Kya definitely visits Lin when she's overworking herself. Kya knows that Chief of Police is a demanding job, but she also knows Lin needs to rest and take care of herself.
When Lin starts to overwork herself, Kya will slip into her office and pay Lin a visit. This happens a couple of times and Lin (being the detective she is) notices a pattern.
So on one of the days she's overworking (because she legit has so much paperwork), she decided to test her hypothesis that Kya will visit tonight. So she wears her thong all day long (inspired by @slowdissolve 's post)
This question is very hard at this point but I'l answer it.
Downton Abbey has something I never knew I needed. The quality of the show she is unbelievable. The beginning of Downton Abbey is the sinking of a ship that called itself the "Unsinkable" - It's the Titanic. The story line reflects the history we're learning. We may or may not notice it all during the events and the plots but there are topics that I'm sure you've learned to school - The Titanic, WW 1, Women and political rights, Spanish Flu, Gay Rights, Development of technologies, etc...
It's better than history classes. Other topics that I appreciate the show is talking about are personal ones. These are (!or may not!) issues that are happening even at this time - sexual assault, rape depression, selfharm, bullying, asking yourself uncertain questions, cheating in the relationship, abortion, emotional tension, racism, death, money and many more.
This show has everything you can think of. Of course, I only wrote negative things. There are also the positive things like love, friendship, hope, joy, family. It amazes me how much detail is written here. One of the other things is character development. From the season one to the movie, they made an incredible move forward - Robert, Cora, Isobel, Mary, Edith, Tom, (...) but also Daisy, Elsie, Thomas, Anna, Bates, (...). Their characters seem more mature and realize what their true purpose is. They have a whole new life and also their eyes are more open. You can also see how the world around them is evolving during the show - the fashion. Have you ever noticed what for example Cora wore in the first season and what she wore in the last?ย And what was the range between the seasons - Fifteen years? It's just incredible to me what's changed in the fifteen years. I think Downton Abbey deserves more attention. It's not just about graphics, music, actors/actresses or the environment around the show or Highclere Castle, it's about the details and for all this, we thanks to Julian Fellowes.
Are #PlayDate edits even a thing now? ๐ซ Iโm not sure. But I really wanted to make one for the one & only @elizabeth.mcgov ๐ฅฐ
