The sound of your footsteps can be heard after you opened the entrance to the Angel's Share Tavern. The drunkards' chit-chat filled the atmosphere of the tavern along with the sound of their glasses clink against each other. You couldn't helped but smiled when see the loyal customers of the tavern enjoying their night by drinking their tired away.

"Captain [name]!" called a knight standing from his seat while lifting his drink with a tipsy expression of him. You raised your gloved hand with a smile, greeting him back silently before made your way to an empty seat at the front counter and took a seat at the seat closest to the wall. Sigh of relief escaped your lips, feeling the exhaustion lifted off from your shoulders as soon as when you sat on the wooden chair. After the Stormterror's attack finally came to an end with the big help of a mysterious bard and a traveler, The Acting Grandmaster gave out different duties to the knights and you, as a Captain, also included. You just done reporting for today's patrol reports to her and decided to visit the tavern.

"Good evening, captain," a familiar deep voice greeted you from in front of you. The faint smell of rosemary and grapes hit your nose before your eyes trailed up the black shirt underneath with white waist vest with golden threads before finally meeting with a pair of fiery red orbs owned by the owner of the tavern, Master Diluc Ragvindr. But also a good friend of yours. Even with him disliking the Knight of Favonius, you're glad that he still treated you fair and square without a cold glare of his piercing your soul like how he did to the Calvary Captain. You thought maybe because you gave him a different impression from others on the day you met him?

"Good evening to you too,Master Diluc," you greeted him back with a smile you flashed him but he clearly can see exhaustion written on your face. He nodded silently, deciding to let you go this time. At least the dirt on your figure showed him that you actually did your work as a captain in the knight. "I assume you want to have the same drink you had from the few nights before this since it's already became quite to your liking," he stated calmly before turning his back to face you but you still able to make out his hands' movement who cleaning a glass with a clean white cloth. Your eyes just mindlessly staring at his back silently without any thoughts. From his words, you slowly realized that the Dawn Winery's owner actually noticed that the Dandelion Wine was now your favourite drink in the tavern..

"Haha, glad you noticed my favourite drink, Mas-" "Diluc."

A small 'huh?' escaped from you when he suddenly corrected your name for him. Despite the tavern be usually loud with music and customers, you were able to feel the silence between you and the red-haired man. "I already told you to drop the formalities when off your duty here, [name]," he continued, breaking the atmosphere between both of you. You felt your cheeks hot from embarrassment but you just looking away hoping to hide them even though Diluc's back was the one facing you. "Sorry, the tiredness of being a captain really made my memory a bit weak nowadays," you joked at him with a little breathy chuckle. Your eyes met up with his when he finally turned to give you your order and you swear you heard little chuckles from the man in front of you..

and it sounded heavenly...

"Goodnight, Diluc. I will see you around again," you called him while standing at the entrance of the tavern. It was quite late now so you decided to go home for the night after paid your drink. You still had many duties for tomorrow too. "Safe on your way back .It's dark outside," he said with his attention fully on you while his arms crossed on his chest. You nodded at his advice after reassuring him that you will be fine on your own.

At the corner of your eyes, you saw familiar blue-haired man talking to a newly-arrived merchant at the corner of the tavern. You decided to just walked out from the tavern without greeting him. Knowing how the mysterious Calvary Captain doing things, you learned that sometimes you just need to mind your own business.

During the night, the main road of Monstadt just looked silent with the citizens now asleep peacefully, safe in their homes. Knowing this, you just smiled with satisfication knowing you were doing your duty as a knight greatly. You waved at Swan and Lawrence who still guarding the gate and you can hear them wishing you to be safe in your way home.

Not feeling very tipsy from the drink, you were now walking home alone outside of the gate of Monstadt. You still aware of your surrounding even though your eyes felt a bit heavier tonight. Your shoulders felt tense still as you did little stretch as your legs bringing you home. Your sword still neatly placed on the side of your belt. You just kicking off the stones on the road with boredom, enjoying the silence of the night.

"Give us all you got!" shouted a sudden voice in front of you. Your head immediately looked up just to see a few Treasure Hoarders were now in front of you blocking your path home. They must been watching you since you walked out from the gate and you sighed under your breath, annoyed. You blamed yourself mentally, remind to be more aware of your surroundings after this.

"Too bad, Im just a captain the knight," you said as your hand slowly tightened and ready to draw out your sword to fight. You pushed the exhaustion aside before charging towards the hoarders with your vision glowing up.

To be continued...

"I guess you can say this a goodnight," you said after done beating the enemies easily on your own. You fixed your hair after putting away your sword back to your side. The hoarders now just laying on the ground, unconscious.

As you turned to look behind you after heard rustling sounds, your eyes widened when a sudden flame bird appeared out of nowhere and kicked off the last hoarder. Your breath stuck in your throat didnt know if it's for the fact that you almost get hurt or someone just saved you.

You just stood there, disbelief for a few seconds before came back to your sense. Your eyes looked at the surrounding of trees and bushes hoping to see a glimpse of the person who just saved you. But there was none.

Other a glimpse of red silhouette.

note : Finally, barely escaped my writer-block with my Diluc fanfiction. Im not sure if this is an original idea but do tell me if there's similar idea. I thought of this during one of my classes today and I just cant wait to finish it for you all! Made this special for Diluc's skin, of course! Your eyes staring at the delicious dinner in front of you without hesitation. The ingredients looking really good and your stomach growled asking you to eat the food already.

"Eat up, darling," spoke a soothing voice of a man appeared behind you before a soft kiss landed onto your bare neck. Your body shivered from the cold kiss but it ease the tension of the atmosphere. "I made my specialty special for you," he continued, making sure the words whispered into your ear. Your kidnapper's messy ginger hair moved into your eyesight as he sat down to the wooden chair next to you. His smile just so intoxicating to you, his touch just so soft yet possessive. His presence is enough to fear the enemies but to you, you just want to stay next to him.

Your past lovers just...bad. You still remember the reaction of Childe's when his eyes spotted the purple spots and bruises all over your body and his eyes spoke murder. The air turned tense and you fear he might hit you but he did otherwise; the Fatui Harbinger took care of the old scars with care like his hands never soak in enemies' blood. His confession of endless love for you drown the bad memories and left your mind to accept him, letting you know his love is enough for you.

"It taste delicious, " you praised him with a sincere smile after gave the food a taste. He let out a lovely chuckle and his eyes never leave your face. His adrenaline slowly calmed down knowing you will never run away from your shared home. But, even if you broke your words, he will hunt you down and make sure you will come back.

He knows if you run away, no one will help you. Your exes already gone and everyone know not to mess with the Fatui. You will eventually come back to him. You look happy, you say you are happy with him, living under the same roof with him and the whole you just want him.

"Say, my dear. What if we go visit my family next week? I am sure they are happy to see their future " suggested Childe with a happy voice tone and his cheek leaning onto his palm, admiring you enjoying the food. Your eyes widened as you quickly accepted his offer.

He's ready to be the happiest man.

 You walked around Liyue trying to find the Geo archon for some matters,just to find a half-dragon and half-lin creature, resting at a flower field by itself, probably sleeping peacefully. Your eyes scanned the shiny scaly lizard-like body with beautiful sunset colours at the match of the Earthy brown colour. The whole body was huge and you bet it can easily sweep you away one time only. The claws looked ready to attack anyone but it was still a breathtaking view in your eyes. The moonlight reflected on the scales and it looked magnificent.

  You walked to the head and sat down silently. You watched your beloved archon resting peacefully with a soft smile. With him keeping his expression as hard as a rock, it’s rare to see him this peacefully without the face of a fearful warrior and the oldest archon. You, as an adeptus who has been fighting by his side since the Archon War, are really glad he is able to at least loosen up a bit when you are by his side. 

  Shivers sent down your spine when it let out a tired breath. “My dear Archon, it's just me, your fighter. You look like you are resting here in this beautiful flower field so I do not dare to disturb you at all-” before you could finish your sentence, he gently laid his head onto your laps as a pillow. He assured you that it’s okay and let you stay with him, enjoying the night's rest. It’s not like you can go anywhere with his head on your legs. 

  You slowly rested your hand on his thick yet soft fur, testing the water. He doesn't move away so you gently run your fingers through the fur, untangled any knots. Your weapon rested gently on your side while you let your guard down for a while because you know Morax will protect you.

 “Ouh?” you let out a small sound when you hear a small purr coming from the half-dragon creature that honestly, sending warmth to your chest and cheeks. He let his guard down with you!  You covered your mouth and slowly stopped your hand but he suddenly moved his head towards your hand, asking you to continue. You nodded at his silent request and continued 

He purred and sent vibrations to your body but it felt comforting too. Like a cat, but  the sound was more rough and booming than a small fragile cat. You heard him roaring in the sky a few times so this more soft and relaxed sound somehow made you squeal inside but keeping the same expression on your face. His softness is really gonna be the death of you.

 “Don't enjoy this moment too much..”

“Of course, my Lord!”

 --Present time--

  Your eyes scanned the pages of the novel that Xingqiu recommended to you while sitting down next to the opened window that showed the view of the beautiful decks of Liyue. You were drinking tea after breakfast with Zhongli today and you enjoyed reading alone. Not until now. Your attention now one an irresistible cute creature.You side-glanced a small dragon that was resting on the wooden chair, enjoying the quiet sound of the waves that hit the body of the ships.

  It's normal to see Zhongli turning into a smaller dragon on his days off and just resting near you. He looked really cute too so you can't help but treat him like a pet you have. 

  You put down your book after slipping in a bookmark and Zhongli took the cue and walked with his short legs before laying on his stomach on your laps. 'Is this even the same dragon from a hundred years ago?' you thought to yourself as you unconsciously scratched his fur with your fingers. He stretched his small legs and let his tail wagging happily. You just chuckled and scratched under his chin and he let out a soft purr of happiness with your touch. 

 "You look so cute, Zhongli," you cooed happily but he didn't respond, only enjoying the treatment from his significant other. 'Maybe I should change to this form again next time' he wondered to himself.

He will sneaks from behind you while you cooking in the kitchen and pinch your cheek with soft coos like 'So soft~' or 'I can't resist myself~'

Or maybe you are reading a book while sitting on a couch in his office and you feel a gloved finger poking your cheek until you turn to look at him and his hands will squeeze your cheeks until your lips look like a fish pouting. Before you process the situation, he just casually pulls you into a deep kiss that always leaves you flustered with blushes. 

"Sorry, I know you just sitting here but I can't fight the urges"

Excuse,you know it. But, you let him be because he always doing it to show affection to you

If you are ready to walk out from his office, he never lets you go until he places a few kisses on your face with words of 'Be safe' and 'Make sure to come back' and also, pinches of love to your poor cheeks. 

Even if you protect your cheeks from his hand, I think his reflexes will have advantages for him to poke your cheek. And usually this little game turns into a mess of laughter as both of you squeeze each others' cheeks. 

He will never miss a day to just hold your face gently and place a kiss before walking away to go to his work

I also imagine after you finished slaying off monsters, he will run to you and playing with your cheeks, kissing the bruises on him

And I expect him waiting for you to do the same after his fights

Overall, his favorite habit is to give attention to your cheeks and squishing them 

 Childe's hands were helping you to dry your hair with a towel after you showered. He smiled and praised how good your hair smell was and couldn't help but bury his nose to inhale more. "Okay, okay.Im sorry," he chuckled when you asked him to stop with a tired voice. You felt exhausted and Childe helping you out just making your eyes slowly closed. 

  After brushing your hair and putting on comfy clothes, he lifted you up in bridal style and laid down onto your shared bed. You pulled the blanket to cover both of you and lay facing each other. His blue eyes studying your face silently before a smile plastered. Even in the dark, he can see your beauty and thanks to the moon, you are a star in his dark life. A light in the end of the tunnel,waiting for him. 

Before you could ask something, he pinched your cheek gently and smiled when you just gave a tired look. "C'mon, Childe.." you muttered under your breath and he pulled you against his body and wrapped his arm around your waist. "You just look so soft" he defended himself with the usual excuse but you didn't have energy to fight back. So, you just laid your head onto his chest and slowly drifted to sleep, feeling his kiss on your head.

My Sweet Love (Part 1)

 Your eyes slowly opened from the peaceful sleep just to quickly adjust to the blinding morning sunlight. You let out a silent sigh as your hand blocked the pure light,knowing you needed to wake up for your house chores but the bed just felt too comfy like it's luring you back into deep slumber just for a few minutes. The king-sized bed was just so comfy making you feel like laying on a grass field without disturbance,like a sleepy child. The thick blanket wrapped your body as if it was protecting you from the deadly temperature outside. 

  Your half-lidded eyes just staring into the nightstand as you dozed off a little,letting you slowly clear your mind from foggy dreamland. Should you prepare breakfast now? Or maybe get stock for groceries? How about the clothes? You sat up and your eyes caught the falling snow outside of the clear window glass. You tilted your head a little, a little confused. Was it winter by now? Ouh, you remember everything now. 

  He successfully kidnapped you when you were completely helpless. He kept you away from the gaze of familiar citizens of your hometown and made you stay surrounded by endless snow. You no longer felt the warm colour of Liyue's sunset or the delicious cuisines cooked by Xiangling. Your ears no longer hear the children playing near the deck or Zhongli correcting the storyteller silently with a cup of tea in his hand. Ah yes, Zhongli. How was he now? You missed his deep pure amber eyes and voice of a lullaby. 

  But now, all you see everyday is the same pure snow on the ground, freezing temperatures in the air, smoky smell from the burning fireplace and.. 

  "Morning, my Sweet" the familiar voice again. You bet he woke up earlier than you today. You can feel the bed dipped from his weight behind you and his arms wrapped around your waist from behind. Day by day, your nose recognizes his scent and learns not to resist,knowing what he's capable of. His chin placed on his shoulder and left a loving kiss onto your exposed neck that sent shivers from the warm breath when he's breathing into your skin. "I made breakfast for us today~ Let's go eat together with me?" he suggested but you can hear the command voice hinting to you as his arms tighten. You know he won't hurt you if you do his wish:being by his side and fully loving him. Just like how he clearly stated before. 

  "That's very sweet of you,My Love. Let's go eat before it gets cold," you answered him with a honey-coated voice as genuine as possible with your hand placed on top of his. It seemed to work every time, his eyes showed a love gaze to you with a happy smile on his face. He placed a kiss onto your cheek softly and helped to tidy the bed.

  After he left the bedroom to wait for you downstairs, you just left alone. How long have you been here, living in this house with him? You can't remember, can't seem to find calender around here too. Perhaps he is hiding them? Days and nights just passing each seconds making you lost track of reality.

  When you walked to the dining table with fresh clothes,he pulled a chair and invited you to sit down. You thanked him and sat down as he quickly sat down in front of you. "So,what's your day planning for today, Sweetie?" he asked as he was eating his breakfast while looking at you. As you explained your daily routines, his gaze stayed on your longer like you're some kind of a rare gem. You are a precious one for him. No one can replace you and no one can steal you away from his fingers. 

  He remembered the first time you were here, such an aggressive one. Failure of plans to escape just easily beaten by him when he got his hands on you. He had to lock you up until you learned your lesson even strings of sympathy towards you still tugging his chest. Cold nights where he holds you close making you depend on him for enough warmth, his sweet yet hurtful words have whispered into your ears,slowly but effectively changing your view to the outside world. 

  'I'm the one for you. I'm your soulmate, and no one can take you away. We will be together until death do us apart'

 "Childe? Are you still there?" your sweet voice snapped him back to reality. He gained his composure and smiled at you. He had a great and lively conversation with you before going for his Harbinger task. What can he ask for more.. 

  "I love you, [y/n]."

 "...I love you too, Childe"

 Your hands were trembling as your eyes stuck on the paper's big and bold writing. You cannot process anything because of how much information you need to get into your head,making your head dizzy. 

 "This date.. What date is today? When did this come out.. What is happening.." you muttered softly under your breath trying to make anything make sense. The bold letters written "MISSING" just add more. How long have you been missing? How far are you from Liyue exactly? Does anyone even search for you? What should you do now? Escape?

  A hand wasn't hesitant to rip the paper out of your hands and crumbled it easily in front of your face. Your only hope of knowing the outside world was just gone. "Childe? Please tell me.." you plead to him and the same cold gaze staring into you under his messy bangs. You gasped when he immediately pinned you onto the bed and kept you under him like a prey. His face towering over yours and his calm breath touching your lips. The moonlight illuminated both of your figures and you whimpered when his hold tightened on your wrists, keeping them next to your head. 

 "There's nothing that I need to tell you, my Dear '' he started talking, calming your fast heartbeats. His leg placed between both of your legs and threatened to move his knee closer. "What is happening?" you asked him out of confusion. He opened his mouth --

 "You are so naive..Remember when you were still out there? No one cares about you. No one sees you like how I see you. Maybe in their eyes, you just an ordinary person but in mine, you.Absolute.Perfect. Every inch of you.. Your voice is better than the infamous singer, your eyes brighter than the Cor Lapis and your presence, warmer than the fire itself."

 He let go of your wrist after making sure you were staring into his eyes, unmoved. His knuckles caressing your cheek. 

 "You only need me. I provide you safety from the winter, food for you, loving kisses to assure you that I'm in love with you. Need more? Say less, Princess. I will get it with my own hands just for you"

 He gave you a light kiss on the lips before continuing.

 "Stay with me. We will grow a family with us being great parents. Don't you want Teucer to be happy? I'm sure he would love to see you... Making his brother happy, right? And they will be strong like me and have your beauty as a blessing. I love you so much, don't you see that? You don't need anyone else. Me and me, is enough. You are my world, my Celestia. Damn, I will fight the Celestia for you too"

 He finished and was waiting for your response. You looked confused still but your mouth opened slightly, maybe trying to mutter something. 

 "I.. Ha-"

 "Say it, one time you said it, everything will be over, Dear. But remember, I won't stay by your side anymore. No more love from me and no more of our beautiful love story. I will leave you"

 Your hand slowly grabbed his collar. You somehow didn't want him to leave you. He made you feel special and loved. Like no one else before. He took care of you when you got sick from a bad fever, he stays by your side when you have nightmares and he loves you like no one else. You finally realized you are clinging on to his possessiveness to feel loved but it still feels good. It's addicting. 

 "Don't leave me, Childe.. I will stay"

 "Good,Love.Stay with me, okay?"

  He gave you deep kiss making all the thoughts about outside world immediately vanished.

 Your eyes watched the wooden pendulum clock hanging on the wall with silent sigh and keeping your trembling hands on your laps. 'He will be home in a few minutes' you thought to yourself and slowly rubbing your chest to ease the nervousness.

  You know Diluc is a family man that will happily raise an heir but you still can't help but feel nervous. What if he doesn't plan to have a child yet? But, the doctor from the church also confirmed that you are already pregnant. But, you and Diluc already had a few conversations about your future together and planning for a happy family together. 

  "Dont worry, we will have a talk if anything goes to another turn.."

 "Talk about what, Dearest?"

Your body tensed and looked over your shoulder to see your red-haired lover standing at the doorway of your shared bedroom with his coat already hanging on the wooden coat stand. He walked over to you sitting on a chair next to the window silently and placed a soft kiss onto your forehead.

 "Welcome home, 'Luc" you muttered softly only to hear it and he hummed gently. "So, what's the matter you want to talk about, [y/n]?" he asked with uneasiness in his voice thinking you might want to deliver bad news to him. Are you leaving him? No, it can't be. After all these years being together and in love, he still fears you might have fallen out of love with him. 

You requested him to sit down and he sat down on a chair beside you. You turned to face him and you gently took his hands to ease the trembling. His thumbs gently rubbing your knuckles to comfort you. His eyes stayed on your expression and his chest felt heavy to see your eyes; uneasiness and something held you back. 

 "Diluc, I want to tell you that.. I'm pregnant" you confessed with a lower voice with closed eyes. What you didn't see was Diluc staring at you with widened eyes. 

 His heart bloomed after the realization of you being pregnant with his child. He couldn't believe how he got mixed feelings. Will he be a good father? What if he gets busy with work until he leaves you both without love? What if something happens? Without him noticing, a single tear dripped down and your thumb gently wiped it away. 

 He pulled you into a tight hug and made you sit on his lap. He nuzzled to your shoulder and smiled softly out of happiness. You felt his strong arms wrapped around you,not wanting to let you go. "Thank you, Dearest..Thank you for everything and now this," he mumbled happily. You kissed his forehead gently to calm him down. 

  "You will be the best father to our child, Diluc. And I will be here with you," you said to him with a smile and he nodded understand as his hands tightened, wanting to protect you and the child from any harms. 

 "Let's grow our family together,[y/n]"
