ORPHAN: FIRST KILL
!!DON’T WORRY, NO SPOILERS THIS TIME!!
I do love movies and rewatching them when I’m bored. But “Orphan” was the only movie I watched as a child, that I didn’t rewatch when I got older (and yes, I was seeing it on almost all the streaming apps I’ve used). The first one gave me chills that I didn’t walk in dark hallways (I RAN) for months. And, “Orphan” was one of the movies that made me like thriller genres.
When I knew that there will be a prequel of “Orphan” I searched for the trailer, watched it and got intrigued. I also wanted to know how I would see this film as a psychology major. And let me tell you, it isn’t like movies today where you can basically get everything from just the trailer.
So, I went ahead and watched it on the cinema. I think I’d give it an 8/10 rating. It’s still mysterious and it would still make you jump from your seat or make you say cuss words out of shock. Some scenes just seemed predictable to me (I think this is just due to me having watched too many mystery/thrillers growing up). Also, it wasn’t as scary for an adult, I would think.
But! THE PLOT WAS AMAZING, I would say. I did not see that plot twist coming. The irony of this film, superb. It gave me more feelings of disgust towards the other characters and their behaviors. But everything makes sense. This film shows the origin of Esther and why she does all of the things she did in the first film.
As a psychology major, my mind was kind of blown by Esther and all the possible things going on in her head. She was manipulative, like most diagnosed with psychopathology (this makes her really dangerous). The girl does have Electra Complex which is something daughters feel towards their fathers, it usually goes away as the child matures but since Esther/Lena is mentally ill she still had it as an adult. Also, her character shows that she does not like herself much so she hides behind someone else’s personality (another factor here is: she’s a mental institute escapee). One quote from this movie that was accurate for Esther and her character was “It felt like she was putting on a show.”
If you have watched “Orphan” then you should watch “Orphan: First Kill” too. It’s showing in cinemas right now and it will be worth your while. It was well-done and seeing it in a cold, dark cinema is how it should be watched.

Euphoria S2 Episode 5
‼️SPOILERS AHEAD‼️
I know everyone has a lot to say about this, and I am one in those everyone. Before I start, let me just say: ZENDAYA REALLY DESERVES AN EMMY FOR THIS!!!
First off, the start of the episode. It is set in the Bennett’s home. Rue’s mom and Gia knew that she’d been using again. Rue kicks the door until she breaks it. I don’t know about you guys but that reminded me of when Rue had a breakdown and she went to Fez to ask for drugs, it can be found on YouTube if you search: rue and fez door scene.
Like the addict that Rue is, she throws a tantrum, becomes very mad while looking for the suitcase with all the drugs and says a lot of hurtful words to her own mother. Then she realizes that Jules and Elliot are also there and they’re the one who snitched on her to her mom. She insults them too. I must say, I feel like Elliot deserved that (for what he did in the last episode, if yk what I mean). And even if Rue said mean and degrading things to Jules, the latter replies with I love you. Which then Rue replied with: You don’t love me, you love to be loved. Rue also kind of slut shamed and broke up with Jules. Elliot and Jules had no choice but to go. But your boy Elliot had the gall to smoke weed outside the Bennett house.
Then Rue’s mom convinces her to go to the ER, but really is going to bring her to rehab. In this whole episode, Gia (Rue’s sister) is almost just crying. When Rue knew she’s going to be taken to rehab, she bolted and ran in the road, almost getting run over by cars and even caused an accident.
HANG ON THERE, I’LL GET TO MY POINT.
She ran and ran all night. Then, she went to Fez to ask for drugs. Fez seeing Rue’s state, refused to give her anything. And Rue tries to steal grandma’s pills. Fez dragged her out of the house even after Rue pushed him so damn hard. Rue then goes to the Howard house where she made another mess, yet again. I KNOW YOU ALL KNOW WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT. And, kudos to Lexi’s observant skills for realizing that Rue is having a relapse and calling to tell Leslie. Rue’s last stop was Lorie’s (drug lady) house where she also ran from.
NOW TO MY POINT:
This indeed is the most chaotic and also stressful episode I’ve watched in this series, but that makes it the best.
I think the point of the whole episode is to show what drugs can do not only to its user, but also to the people around that person. Rue ruined relationships because she wanted drugs and to stay high. She gaslit her sister into letting her smoke weed when what she’s really smoking is opiates. And in order to escape from the Howard house when her mom went to fetch her, Rue opened up the topic about Cassie and Nate, making Maddy angry (she knows that it will happen) but she did it anyway. Leslie is the best mother for trying to do everything to get Rue to let go of her bad habit, even if Rue hurt and shouted at her, she still stayed calm and talked to her child like a mother should.
Addiction is a disease, everyone should be reminded by that. Zendaya showed that with superb acting skills. I felt everything that her character was feeling as she was running in the whole episode. I also think that her running symbolizes what an addict does whenever they do drugs, they run from reality because doing drugs to them, makes life less miserable. And addiction commonly comes with depression. People should not talk about Rue being mean, unbearable and just deserves to die. Because the one who said those mean things, it wasn’t Rue, it’s the drugs talking. Anyone should never let what addicts or drunks say get through their head. It’s the drugs, it’s the addiction that’s talking. What Rue needs is not the insults, but help. She needs to detox, she needs rehab and therapy, and someone who will listen to her as she realizes that drugs won’t make her problems go away.
AND YES, I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE WHOLE CASSIE-NATE-MADDY CHAOS

“Encanto” Review
And character analysis.
So, I know it's been days since this movie came out. I saw people's reactions to it on my facebook page a lot and even celebrities I follow also shared their feedbacks. This is late due to my watching a 1000+ episode anime since a month ago. Anyway, let's get on with it.
Encanto is a family movie made by Disney. And of course, there are a lot of good songs that we can relate to. To my understanding, each of the Madrigals represent members of our own families. It also represent how much pressure we can get and how we develop the need to give in to that pressure.
Pepa. She is the one in the family who have trouble controlling her moods and it affects everyone around her. It's like an energy that spreads around the family. If she's in a good mood, everybody will be in a good mood. And otherwise would happen if she was in a bad mood.
Julieta. She is the family member who makes everyone feel better, the healer. She is the calm in the storm that is the family. Someone is hurt? She'll heal them. Someone is doubting themselves? She gives them a peptalk. She nurses everyone's health. The one with theoverwhelming love and kindness for everyone.
Bruno. The black sheep. Need I say more? Everyone has a black sheep in their family. The one who is filled with darkness. Sometimes thought of as someone who dims everyone's brightness. But also the one who has more light on the inside than evryone else in the family, if given the chance to prove it.
Dolores. She is the one who knows everything about anyone. Also known as the listener. She listens to everyone, even if not everyone listens to her. She hears everyone though she is not heard. She can be the type of sibling who would listen to your rants, your problems, and your secrets. The only downside is she likes to gossip about it bcause she cannot keep everything to herself because of the information overload. The one you go to if you want some tea about everyone.
Isabela. She, in a normal setting, is the perfect child. Mostly the straight A student, the achiever, the one who has the most medals. They are pressured on being perfect and nice that they become too uptight and have trouble loosening up when they need to. They're the ones who hardly rest and whose face is always in front of a book, the prim and proper, the model child.
Camilo. More likely the child in the family wo adjusts and tries to meet everyone's expectations of him. If the parents want to see him as a good child, that is what he will show them. If his siblings see him as troublesome, that is how he will treat them. The children who are like this are likely the ones whose true colors are shown when they are out of the house because they feel more free without all the expectations.
Luisa. The strong one. The one who most likely feels that if she is something other than strong then she is weak. This results to them doubting themselves and always keeping their feelings inside. They are the ones who barely cry and see crying as a sign of weakness. And they think that showing any sign of weakness is something they should not do. The one the family can always lean on, without them thinking whether she is tired or she is feeling sad like everyone else. She keeps up the strong facade for everyone.
Antonio. The little one who feels pressure even at a young age. This is probably because the ones older than him are special, experienced the same pressure and meet everyone's expectation. He thinks that if he does not become like his elder family members, he'll be a disappointment. They still need people to be there for them even if everyone expects them to be able to stand on their own feet at a despite their youth, which they should be enjoying. The one who needs guidance and assistance but mostly ends up figurng things out for himself.
Mirabel. She is the exceptional one. The unique one that is too unique that no one sees how special she is. She is not as exceptional as their other siblings or family members. But because of that, they see her as mediocre or below perfect and does not meet the parents' or elders' expectations. But in the end, she saves everyone from themselves. The true light of the family who voices out what she thinks of everyone. She may not have been up to everyone's expectations, but she also expects a lot from herself and loses what she really want to be, for them.
And lastly, the Abuela. The head of the family who experienced and witnessed more than anyone else. She is full of wisdom. But expects everyone and everything to be perfect. She holds up the family because of the fear that it wuld be broken and she will not have fulfilled her expectation of herself. She sometimes become toxic because of the need for perfection without realizing that nothing, not even people, are perfect no matter how much she tries to try to achieve said perfection.
I have seen reviews and feedbacks about this movie that expressed how emotional it was and how it makes you feel like you're also in the Madrigal family. That is because they reflect members of our family and we see ourselves in at least one of the characters in the movie. Encanto is magical, dazzling and very pleasant to the ears. It showed that anything broken can be fixed and it is not that bad to let anyone help you. A reputation cannot always be held up by a member of the family or the entire family. Everyone is different in ther own way but instead of aiming to be perfect, we must aim to be ourselves. Self love indeed is the key to genuine happiness. You can find miracle anywhere, but sometimes no matter how hard you look for it, the only thing you need to do is look in the mirror and realize that you are the miracle.

"My Amanda" Review
I normally do not watch Filipino movies now, unless they're made by my favorite directors or it's an indie film. I, though, have watched countless films that starred Piolo Pascual and Alessandra De Rossi since I was young and I consider them two of the best actors I have watched in Filipino cinematography.
To describe it in a nutshell, My Amanda is a film about two best friends who call each other Fuffy and Fream and what happens to Amanda outside her friendship w/ TJ.
The film started w/ how TJ and Amanda are with each other. They are comfortable with each other, they can make any kind of joke, state anything in their mind and Amanda also tells TJ that he should pursue being a writer. Based on the spoilers I have seen on the internet, I knew that they (TJ and Amanda) won't really end up with each other. The main reason I watched it is to see why.
In the climax of the movie, Amanda experienced huge hardships in her life and on the background throughout the film, TJ was reciting his poems for Amanda that he can't actually tell her.
Most Filipino films are light-hearted and funny, it can sometimes make you forget your problems for a while. And there are not many tear-jerker ones. But this (My Amanda) has the power to hurt anyone to the point of crying. And as I believe it, if a movie or series makes you cry, then it most definitely is a good one.
Then good things started to happen to both of their lives. Me being a realist or someone who has watched a lot of movies (especially heartbreaking ones), I had the feeling that something bad is still going to happen despite all the good. And it did!!!
To anyone who needs a good cry, you should go ahead and watch My Amanda. It is streaming on Netflix and has English subtitles. It is a film that has a various range of the emotions that it can make you feel. Do not worry, it ends well.

WORD OF ADVICE: WATCH THE ELITE SHORT STORIES FIRST TO FURTHER UNDERSTAND THE CIRCUMSTANCES IN THIS SEASON
THERE MIGHT BE SPOILERS AHEAD.
It is devastating to watch Elite without the three main ladies we've seen from the beginning which are Lu, Nadia and Carla. Lu has gone to study somewhere else and with her is her step brother Valerio (who is no longer in season four as well), Nadia went to study college in New York while Carla went to London, we know that Polo died in the previous season. I will also be happy to let you know that the Inspectora is not around anymore.
First off, let us talk about the new characters. There are four or five main new characters in season 4: Mencia, Ari, Patrick, Philippe, Benjamin & Armando are the ones to watch out for. So, Las Encinas has a new principal—Benjamin and he has three children: Ari & Patrick (twins), Mencia. Armando is an older man who enters in Mencia's life and has a bigger impact on the characters. Ari becomes a part of a love triangle with Guzman and Samu (as shown on the trailer) and Patrick becomes a third of Omander. Another new character is Philippe who becomes Caye's new love interest after the death of Polo.
People have been saying that the Las Encinas students are partying in every episode of season 3 but there's just two or three parties in season 4. First, the towel party where a lot of very graphic things happened. Second, the le Bal orchestrated by Philippe and third is orchestrated by Philippe's mom— the New Year's Eve party. In these parties, major pieces of the plot happened.
In this season, what I like most about is the old characters' development. Caye decided to be not a liar anymore (as she said in the first Elite Short Story: Guzman, Caye and Rebe). She stood by this decision of hers. She went to college, majored in fashion design while being Las Encinas' cleaning lady. She did attempt once to get close to Prince Philippe while wearing fancy clothes but that was interrupted so she saw no use for lying to him. ESPECIALLY because Philippe is a bigger liar/hypocrite than her (to know why, u gotta watch season 4)
Guzman has experienced changes in this season. His character has been developing ever since his sister Marina died in season one and Polo died in season 3, when he was with Lu, and also when he was dating Nadia. That is when we saw his soft side. But a downgrade happened in this season because he basically lost Nadia. He came back to being a prick and showing it by competing against Samu. But also, he was not ashamed to admit that he thinks that Samu is greater than him and he sometimes is jealous of him. He even said that Samu is the best thing that happened to him in the last two years (since Marina died)
Ander has hardships about his sexuality, especially when he and Rebe talked about bisexuality during season 3. His mother accepts him for who he is, because that is how Azucena is and we love her for that. It has been shown that his relationship with Omar has matured in this season. He accepted Omar even if he cheated, they talk about their problems. And as seen in his shorty story with Alexis and Omar, he dealt with survivor's guilt after his cancer went into remission. But one thing did not change: the fact that he will do anything for Omar. Like suspending his plan of traveling the world to stay with Omar, twice.
Omar have dealt with his sexuality and family throughout the season. He is living with his best friend Samu now and he is still working to finance himself. His relationship with Ander has been complicated but they always compromised and got back together. This cycle has been repeating for a while now. Since their relationship had a third, things got messier. Even if Omar and Ander promised that it'll always be them, Patrick still got in the way of them. But in the end, when Omar knew that Ander suspended his travel plans again because of him, he finally let Ander go. That is how much their relationship has grown and in this series, their relationship was the most mature (at least for me).
Samu has took a great toll ever since the series started. He struggled on being Las Encinas' scholar, falling in love and grieving for Marina, falling for Carla and dating Rebe, his brother being in prison, financial problems and his family moving in Morocco and him living alone. He worked as a camarero for a living. His type in women are coincidentally rich ones, that's shown in his dating history. The only bad thing he did, in my perspective, was using Rebe (a woman who likes him very much) to make Carla jealous. His development after the short story he had with Carla explains why he is mostly down in this season. He sees Ari and likes her instantly mostly because she is like Carla–pretty, out of his league, and he is invisible to her. He is as humble as ever and him being on the debate team (yes he joins the debate team in season 4) shows his side where he speaks up.
Rebe was a character we all thought we'd never like. But my thought now is: what's not to like? She speaks her mind, she loves hard, and she is an honest person. She expressed anger towards Samu, she was repeatedly lied to by her mom so I see why a liar is her least favorite person. In this season, she met her match—Mencia, a woman who also speaks her mind but a very complicated character. After realizing she was bisexual, Rebe had no problem exploring her sexuality. At first she was closed off when Mencia expressed admiration towards her, due to what happened with Rebe and Samu. But she later opened up, said to hell with it to the people and things that came in the way of her love for Mencia. She is a knight in shining armor.
The main plot of this season is Ari, who they found almost dead by the lake, beaten up. The question is the same as always: whodunit? But there is always a twist in this series, as we all know. The detective is now a man. To know about the mysteries and witness these characters' development, go ahead and stream Elite on Netflix now.

Ride Or Die (Spoiler Alert!!!)
The story of this film is that a lesbian woman, Rei Nagasawa, kills her high school crush's abusive husband. Pretty dark, right? But I do love dark films.
We see on the first scene that Rei goes to a bar and treats a Mr. Shinoda a drink then the said gentleman sits with her ang takes her to his home. Rei then flirts with the guy and they have sexual intercourse. As the intercourse is happening, Mr. Shinoda asks what Rei wants and she says, "Give me your wife, she's kind of cute. " Later on, Rei gets a scalpel (I think) then stabs the gentleman in the neck, particularly on his carotid artery. That was then that I got the idea that Rei might be in the medical field since she knew where to stab the guy. Mr. Shinoda, pushes Rei. But Mr. Shinoda being a stupid guy, takes the scalpel out of his neck and he bleeds continuously then Rei gets a shard of glass and uses it to slit the gentleman's neck.
Of course, I had a lot of questions like where is the wife/Rei's crush at the moment? And there came my answer, a flashback of what happened a day ago where Rei and Nanae (her crush and the dead guy's wife) see each other. Nanae was the one who called Rei and says she loves Rei then shows the bruises she has on her body. Nanae then asks Rei "will you kill him (her husband) for me?"
So here are my insights on the movie, Nanae always takes granted of Rei's feelings for her. Why? She calls Rei then shows her bruises and then asks Rei if she would kill her husband for her? That is a situation that is hard to get out of. Imagine if you ever heard that from an abused woman that you've liked since high school. Of course you would pity her and since Rei likes Nanae so much and does not want seeing her hurt like that, she does it. Then when Rei says that she is going to take all the blame and won't tell the police about what Nanae said to her the night before the killing, Nanae just lets Rei do it even if she knows that she insinuated it. She always denies her feelings to Rei, no matter how obvious it is sometimes. I do not know if it's because she is straight or she just does not want Rei.
Rei is a simp but on a very toxic level. She asks Nanae to stay in school and said that she would pay her tuition because she is rich and all that. Plus, it came out like Rei was buying Nanae because she said that in exchange of her paying the tuition, Nanae must have sex with her after high school. Even if she only said it to convince Nanae to continue studying and told her to use the "sex offer" as a motivation, that is still borderline toxic. She kills for Nanae. I think her purpose in killing Nanae's husband is for no one would hurt Nanae again and she also hopes that if she does it, her high school crush would reciprocate her feelings. She just leaves her long time girlfriend and runs with Nanae. That is morally wrong, especially when her girlfriend stood by her, was not ashamed of her and lived with her for years. She did to her girlfriend what Nanae did to her. Rei did things she did not like all for Nanae. She is a lesbian but she had sex with two guys (first, Nanae's husband and second, the guy they saw in the cafe, to forget her regret for what she did to Nanae's husband), she runs away from the police even if she said that she would turn herself in almost everyday in the film, she turns her back from her family when she knew that Nanae loves her too.
All together, they are both toxic for each other. First, Nanae asks Rei to kill her husband which Rei did. Then, Nanae picked up Rei on some kind if highway and drove far from the scene of the crime. Nanae said that she called the police as a joke and Rei beats her up even if she already knew that Nanae has been beaten up by her father and husband. Just when everything between them was doing good, like Rei always wanted, Nanae says she wants Rei to kill her and Rei calls the police to turn herself in.
When I first heard of thus film, I felt like it was Thelma and Louise except that this is a girl love Japanese film and they were not always on the road plus, this film took a really dark turn. It's a fucked up film but every scene makes you wonder what will happen next and that makes you want to watch it until the end. The scenes can be confusing but everything can be answered by the flashbacks. It has been recommended to me by a friend and now that I enjoyed it, I am recommending that you watch this too. It represents how lesbian relationships can be toxic and not only because of the common reasons like homophobia from peers or both the women's families, their beliefs or religion. All in all, I like it. If you wish to watch it, it's available on Netflix and you can use subtitles.

The Irregulars and why it's nothing like the ordinary Sherlock Holmes story
We all have watched different versions of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes. There was the Robert Downey Jr. 's Sherlock movie, Benedict Cumberbatch's Sherlock series which was a modernized version of the Sherlock Holmes novel, "Elementary" where Watson was a woman, and many more. There were even extensions of this Holmes stories like Enola Holmes (both books and movie) and even a Mycroft Holmes novel written by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
But the Irregulars was very different among all the Sherlock Holmes stories that came before it. It is a story about Dr. John Watson asking help from teenage street-dwellers to solve paranormal cases. This series is full of irregularities. Every character was different from what we have seen before.
As we know, in the Sherlock Holmes novel, Holmes is really fond of asking help from street-dwellers. We have witnessed that in BBC1's Sherlock on what really happened on "The Reichenbach Fall" episode where Watson really thought that Sherlock died. In 'The Irregulars' not much was seen of Sherlock Holmes but he is as important in the series too.
Now let us talk about the irregularities I have noticed with the characters. First, the prince of England. He was part of the crew Watson hired. He posed himself as a normal pish-posh person and hid his identity in order to experience a normal life and have friends. But we know that in most of the Sherlock movies, series and in the books that Sherlock and Watson usually solves mysteries for the royal family and anything of the like. This was not the case here.
Second, Sherlock's love interest was not Irene Adler. It was a woman named Alice who is the mother of Bea, one of the teenagers Watson hired. Also, in this series, Sherlock was the one who got married and not Watson. He married Alice and bore a child with her which was Jessie, the supernatural teenager in the crew. The original character of Sherlock Holmes written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle does not strike us to be someone (in any way) interested in love or marriage and even having a child.
Third, Mrs. Hudson is not a sweetheart. Even in the book, Mrs. Hudson has always been the landlady in 221B Baker Street and she always either stayed quiet or made tea for Sherlock and Watson. But here, she was the kind of landlady we normally hate because her personality was darker than the ones we've seen before . But she still knew about everyone in the neighborhood and somehow still helped the main characters.
Next is Lestrade. In the novel, he always asked help from Sherlock together with Gregson and lets him solve mysteries then later Sherlock gives him credit for it even if Lestrade feels like he does not deserve it. In 'The Irregulars' he was the one who did not have much faith in the ability of the crew because it involves the supernatural and his faith in God was greater. Even if the crew was chosen by Watson who is the partner of Holmes.
MYCROFT is part of a cult called The Golden Dawn. We know that Mycroft is Sherlock's brother and always someone working for the government of England and is a part of the Diogenes Club. But here, the Diogenes Club was replaced by a cult in which he only planned to infiltrate to investigate the paranormal things happening in London. His aim was the same, to always protects Sherlock and is there for him even if his brother did not know.
One irregularity that I really loved and also shocked me on this series is Watson's sexuality. We have known Watson in the Sherlock Holmes movies to be a bit of a womanizer and in some of the series, he and Sherlock were often mistaken to be couples, they've even been shipped by fans. And in 'The Irregulars' he said that he loves Sherlock and he means "love" love. For this reason, his decisions were disrupted and Alice dies because Watson only saved Sherlock instead of both Alice and Sherlock. Watson wanted to be seen by Holmes which started the problem with supernaturals in the first time on the series. His hardship was also seen when he had to let go of Sherlock in the last part of the series. His platonic love for Sherlock turned into a romantic one in this one and in the last episode, when Bea asked him "how do you stop loving someone?" we can see pain in his eyes as he answered, "you don't."
Lastly, the most irregular thing for me in this series is Sherlock Holmes himself. In the books and other series and movies, it was not hidden that Sherlock was an addict. He even had his iconic 7% solution. In the novels and other filmography, we have seen Sherlock Holmes use drugs to enhance his intelligence. But in this Netflix Originals series, he used drugs to simply forget things that had happened in the past. And also, his addiction made his skills a bit rusty and he was making consecutive mistakes and miscalculations. Plus, we know even in the books that Sherlock is seen as a high functioning sociopath which means he does everything, even clever and offensive things in order to solve a case. He was selfish too. But in 'The Irregulars' we see him making sacrifices and being beaten down by his hardships. His mind was not the highest being for him in the series. His emotions were shown and it made us see a whole different version of Sherlock Holmes.
The title 'The Irregulars' was coined by the characters in the series which are Watson, Holmes and Alice who were the first ones investigating on the paranormal mysteries in London. But 'The Irregulars' title applies to most parts of the series. It was too awesome and boggles the mind as much as all the other Sherlock stories and plot lines did before. The things that this series changed are what made the irregularities in the show as a tool to make it a masterpiece. This comes in line with the other Sherlock classics even if the actual main characters were not Sherlock and Watson.

Zack Snyder's Justice League #SnyderCut
I have always loved watching movies that are longer than an hour, especially during the time when we are all still able to pay and watch movies on the cinema. We know that movies that last for 2hrs or more are the best ones just like Quentin Tarantino movies, classics like Scarface and others. The storylines are better told in films with this duration . The Snyder cut version of the Justice League movie is about 3 to almost 4 hours. Some people will find movies with this duration as either too long to watch or too boring. But I assure whomever is reading this that Zack Snyder's Justice League is worth your time. A movie this long has room for all the emotions you might feel by watching it. The introduction of the movie was way better than the first of this Justice League movie that we saw. In the 2017 version of Justice League, watchers have frequently asked "how did things go from here to that?"
In the Snyder Cut, the fans' questions were answered. The prolongation of scenes explain the whole story about the Mother Boxes exactly from how Steppenwolf got each one of it and how the Atlantians, Amazons and Humans fought to protect it. Each member of the Justice League's back story, especially the ones that are still quite unknown to some of us like Flash and Cyborg, were sufficiently told in order for watchers to understand their characters more. Also, we saw here an elaborate display of how the Justice League resurrected Superman. Steppenwolf's appearance on the Snyder Cut shows more of his character. Another one worth discussing about this movie is DeSaad and Darkseid's character. They were the ones whom Steppenwolf answers to. The 2017 Justice League has not much mentioned or showed both DeSaad and Darkseid but in the Snyder Cut, they have been introduced to people. The ending of the Snyder Cut gives us more to look out for. We saw Lex Luthor out of the Arkham Asylum and meeting with Death Stroke, also the dream Bruce had with The Joker, Death Stroke and the other members of the Justice League and seeing Superman as the villain that they are hiding from. Everyone is very much excited on who The Martian is and to have an Asian American Superhero which people expect to be Ryan Choi played by the Chinese actor Ryan Zheng. There's a lot in this film that could satisfy the fans. So, if you are thinking of watching the Zack Snyder's Justice League, you better do it now. It is showing on HBO Max and HBO Asia. Now is the time you experience everyone's excitment about this film. As for me, I personally want more of this film even if I have already watched all the 3hrs and 45+ minutes of it.
