since the bbc aren’t much help, i’m here to say if you’re a fan of camp horror comedies you should definitely watch “wreck” on the bbc! it’s got mystery elements, lots of cool plot twists; it’s super funny and bloody and very very queer!! the main characters are a gay guy and a lesbian and their friendship is very important to the show!
series 1 is all on iplayer in the uk and is a super fun watch, and series 2 starts tonight!! 10pm on bbc 3!! tune in & hopefully it’ll be one of the few gay shows to be renewed instead of cancelled! 🪓🏳️🌈

the dead poets & their favourite “the tortured poets department” songs <3
Todd = who’s afraid of little old me? and i hate it here (he cried listening to both of these for the first time)
Neil = florida!!! and who’s afraid of little old me? (loves the dramatic songs that make him feel like he’s been cast as the main character in a film)
Knox = down bad and the alchemy (he’s a hopeless romantic through and through we know this)
Charlie = i can do it with a broken heart and but daddy i love him (puts on over-the-top drunk performances for the other poets when they’re all hanging out on a saturday night)
Meeks = cassandra and peter (loves any song with literary/historical themes and loves dissecting the lyrics for all the little details)
Pitts = so long, london and how did it end? (secretly loves listening to the saddest songs possible while he’s studying)
Cameron = the prophecy and the bolter (pretends he’s not that bothered but secretly can’t stop listening)
BONUS: neil and todd bond over having the same favourite track (who’s afraid of little old me?) but for completely different reasons (for todd it reminds him of growing up as the shy/anxious kid who is constantly underestimated, and for neil it makes him think about his relationship with his dad)
