A certain solitary and unique phrase suddenly appears. It changes its form with time, thrilling and freely dynamic. The voice of Kecak Dance in Indonesia was always incorporated as a symbol of the phrase and the music, which never ceases to move forward with the flame of life at any given moment. ⁡

Sebuah frasa tersendiri dan unik tiba-tiba muncul. Bentuknya berubah seiring berjalannya waktu, mendebarkan dan dinamis secara bebas. Suara Tari Kecak di Indonesia selalu dimasukkan sebagai simbol frasa dan musiknya, yang tidak pernah berhenti bergerak maju dengan nyala api kehidupan setiap saat. ⁡

突如として現れた、とある独特で孤独なフレーズ。それは時間経過とともに姿を変え、スリリングに、そして自由に躍動していく。そのフレーズと音楽とともにインドネシアのケチャの声が常に取り込まれ、どんな瞬間にも生命の炎を絶やすことなく前進する。

"On the Road to Coexistence".

These are a series of four films, from 01 to 04.

The progress of humanity and technology are intertwined. Today, AI continues to evolve at an unprecedented speed.

Could it be a threat to humanity or a pathway to a better world? In this time of chaos, anxiety, and expectations, we would like to re-examine the path of coexistence.

The music combines electronic sounds to represent technology with Khöömii* representing humans. The melodies on the piano and the unpredictable rhythms draw inspiration from the primitive aspects of ethnic music. The numbers shown are written in binary code and repeat the word "Humans!" five times.

The motif of 03 is inspired by the traditional Japanese song "Sakura." This song has been passed down orally and its author is unknown. It portrays the abstract world of humans and is harmonized with the concrete world of AI, which can be analyzed and visualized.

*Traditional Mongolian singing, also known as throat singing, is a technique that involves vibrating and producing sounds with the throat.

“On the Road to Coexistence / 共存への道”

これらは連作で、01から04までの4作品で構成される。

人類の発展とテクノロジーの進歩は切り離すことはできない。そして現在、かつてないスピードでAIは進化をし続けている。

人類の生活を奪うのか、それとも、より幸福な世界に導いてくれるのか。

混沌とした不安や期待が渦巻く今こそ、共存の道を再度問いたい。

テクノロジーを象徴する電子音と、ヒトを象徴するホーミー（モンゴルの伝統的歌唱法。喉を震わせ発声することから喉歌と呼ばれる）を使い、民族音楽のプリミティヴな要素からインスパイアされたピアノによるメロディーと不規則なリズムによって構成される。

表示される数字はバイナリコードで「Humans!」を5回繰り返したものである。

03では、日本の伝統的歌曲「さくら」をモティーフとして取り入れている。口承で受け継がれてきた作者不明の「さくら」に内在するヒトの抽象的な世界に、解析・可視化できるAIの具体的な世界を調和させた。

ABOUT "RAW ARTS"

日本語はスクロール先に。

Primitive rhythms and sounds - its wildness and vitality.

This is what has struck me since childhood. Whenever I saw Kecak in Bali, or Tahitian dance in the Hawaiian Islands. And every time I come into contact with the indigenous festivals that exist in my native Japan, I am compelled to discover the only me.

There is an irrational bloodlust and irrational feelings of savage human beings that cannot be created by modern AI. A paper-thin feeling of strangeness and awe.

I studied classical music. I wrote a lot of orchestral music in classical style. And now, I have turned to my inner self.

I do not want to just express my own inner mind in the dark and crude way, but I want to handle it freely with the knowledge of the frame of art.

If we are the same in terms of expression, can't we find value in music as a one-of-a-kind object, like art?

It is not the kind of sound art that starts its inspiration from a visual presentation, or a score or sound equipment as its subject matter. Nor is it sound art that attaches music to works of art, or reconstructs them using noise or recorded environmental sounds.

Without resorting to such things, the music has the power of art in itself through the strange combination of chords and rhythms consisting of the sound of the Do-Re-Mi-Fa-Sol-La-Si-Do. As pure art that sensitively perceives the times while continuing to raise them.

I would like to sublimate the impressions I once received into something original again now, from the standpoint of a Japanese person who values a spirit that transcends humanity.

原始的なリズムと響き - その荒らしさと生命力。幼少期から私の心を打つものはこれだった。バリでケチャを見た時、ハワイ諸島でタヒチアンダンスを見た時。そして生まれた日本に存在する土着の祭りに触れる度に、唯一の自分を発見せざるを得ない。

そこには、現代のAIで創作し得ない理不尽な血生臭さ、野蛮な人間の不合理な感情がある。紙一重な奇怪と畏怖の感情。

私はクラシック音楽を学んだ。古典的な様式でオーケストラも沢山書いた。そして今、自身の内面に立ち返った。

自分自身に内在するものを、ただ闇雲に粗野に表現するのではなく、芸術というフレームを知った上で自在に扱いたい。

表現するという点で同一であれば、音楽もARTのように一点ものとしての価値を見出すことができないだろうか。

それは、視覚的に見せることから着想をスタートする、楽譜や音響機器を主題としたサウンドアートではない。美術作品に音楽をつけるサウンドアートでもなく、ノイズや録音した環境音を再構築するというものでもない。

それに頼らずとも、ドレミファソラシドの響きからなる和音の組み合わせの妙やリズムによって、それそのものがARTとしての力を持つ音楽。時代を敏感に察知しつつも提起し続ける純粋芸術として。

自分がかつて受け取った感動を、人間を超えたスピリットを重んじた日本人という立ち位置で、今改めてオリジナルに昇華したい。
