Found this AU idea I had in like middle of 2022.

Basic plot I remember is that Sonic died during one of his adventures while saving Tails. Tails didn’t know how to grieve his brothers death, so he went manic and basically reanimated his body. Sonic is basically the same as he always was, but he’s more closed off as his brain is partly damaged. He can’t speak due to damaged vocal cords.

I dunno what I was on.

Ok now we have a booping feature I propose to tumblr next ides of March we have a stabbing counter and the person with the most stabs gets crowned Caesar and the blog with the most stabbings gets crowned Brutus

I'm one of them (I think at least? Was a while ago I may have missed some for all I know. May have to check)

The masterpost is terribly outdated...

It's difficult to update since tumblr and google are both allergic to searching ask posts, which is where most of the new content is. So I have been trying to organize everything into tags like "ssg gods" "ssg sunset shimmer" etc. But I should do even more nitpicky stuff like "ssg horns"

There's just SO MUCH stuff on this blog I want it to be easier to navigate.

Some absolutely wild users have told me they read through the whole blog. I fear them

22 of Month 7

“Um, Twilight? Have you slept yet?” Spike asks timidly as he peaks through the door to Twilight’s guest room. The mare in question was perched at her desk, in almost the exact same position she had been in the night before.

Twilight makes a noncommittal noise, focused solely on her books. It was frustrating… She kept finding references about the golden feathers and a curse, but it always led back to the same poem!

“There once was a King,

For whom the Kingdom’s bells would ring.

His rule was grand,

All nations under his command.

His power ran deep,

Endless riches in his keep,

Yet still, he saw lack.

Every imperfection an attack

So what to do to rise above?

Since it was not enough to have Their love?

He gathered his magic, his knowledge, his all,

But is hubris not what comes before a fall?

He got what he wanted,

But at what price?

His sanity departed,

His heart turned to ice.

And those he left to rise again,

Would bear the curse of foolish men.

And so soon their hearts would shatter,

And their minds would follow and scatter…

All by the works of their maddened King

…And what of Them, whose love was scorned?

By whom the King had been forewarned?

They captured them all, the broken, the cursed,

And made sure their souls dispersed.

Yet still, They could feel the curse creeping.

Into Their mind, it began seeping.

With a final spell to end it all,

They sealed Themselves behind the wall.

Without the King’s power,

The Kingdom had it’s final hour,

Where the bells did endlessly toll,

All for the ones who lost their souls.”

“What’s that one from?” Twilight startles, finally noticing Spike a few steps to her left. She blinks at him a couple of times, and he takes it as a sign to elaborate.

“The poem you were reciting? Where’s it from?” Twilight frowns. She hadn’t realized she’d been reading it aloud…

Wait but the only ones who I know can use magic like levitate are unicorns...how would pegasi and earth ponies get it? Do pegasi just have to fly around with it while carrying it? Curious how it spreads...

...I am listening intently and with a lot of excitement!

There's a reason all of the ponies who've been infected by the feather are unicorns! But that doesn't mean that everyone is safe. I'll be elaborating on that shortly. In fact, there's a couple of sketches that I should have colored and lined within the next few days once I'm done with my school animation. Then after that... : )

Just to explain why I haven't been posting as much, I want to show a few wips for school that I have.

They aren't much yet, but hopefully once I'm done it'll be something pretty good :D

I'm also working on a short animation for another class, plus the other classes I'm doing plus work, so I'm sorry if I'm a bit busy for a while. On the bright side, this is only improving my abilities for later!

(Counting this as drawing a day by virtue of being another type of art lol)

I wonder where she found that strange feather...where it came from...was twilight patient zero or who was patient zero...aaaand I'm curious about origin of virus. (I understand if you can't answer the last one if it's too spoiler-y. Feel free to ignore that one if you want!)

I won't say who Patient Zero is quite yet, but I will say that Twilight was Patient One. She ended up infected after her magic was used on the feather she found while on the outskirts of the Crystal Empire.

Quick note, just touching the feathers won't infect you. It has to intertwine with your magic. So using a magic blast on it won't infect you, but using a continual spell on it like levitation will since it connects back to you. This means that unicorns or other external magic species like them are most likely to be infected.

As for the origin?

Well, there once was a king...

hi bear, remember when you made post about horses hooves being a toe? im drawing a centaur rn and remembering that helped me

so i had struggles with how certain horse leg position would look like and so i brought my finder up and looked at it, and turned out to be kinds similar you just need to add shoulder joint in end
