Uzui trying hard to cheer (Y/N) up after Rengoku’s loss.

Basicall Uzui being a father figure to (Y/N) (I know, I have daddy issues but I think the idea is cute af). It’s a little angsty but also cute.

Rengoku was like a father to (Y/N).

Well, all of the hashiras but Rengoku was special.

Since the beginning, Rengoku was too kind and always taking care of (Y/N).

And after what happened to Rengoku on the train… everything changed for (Y/N).

(Y/N) who was someone so expressive and happy, started to feel depressed and everyone noticed that.

Uzui noticed this and even tho he didn’t wanted to take actually care of (Y/N), he tried.

He was always trying to make (Y/N) laugh or show her/him/them new things.

At the beginning, Uzui felt like it was working, and even was enjoying it. (I have the headcanon that he would be a great dad.)

Then Uzui was being a little too protective to (Y/N) but not in the right way.

Even tho it was working and (Y/N) felt a little better with his company, (Y/N) was still sad.

Every time Uzui saw (Y/N) sad, he tried too hard to cheer her/him/them up and honestly, that was very uncomfortable for (Y/N).

Sometimes (Y/N) tried to explain why they felt that way when Uzui didn’t let them to show their “bad” emotions.

But Uzui started to feel very frustrated for (Y/N)’s attitude and he started to be more harsh to her/him/them.

The cute dynamic they had started to go downhill.

Uzui and (Y/N) were fighting constantly or they have some kind of strong tension and it was very uncomfortable for everyone.

And they were like that for a long time. They didn’t get along anymore.

Not until one day Uzui and (Y/N) had a big discussion. (Let’s say it was because Uzui was being too harsh and (Y/N)’s patience was non existent).

“YOU ARE NOTHING LIKE HIM!”

“WHO IS HIM!?” Uzui noticed that (Y/N) was trying to hold what she/he/they wanted to say and he just put more pressure. “SPIT IT OUT!”

“RENGOKU! ARE YOU HAPPY?”

Uzui got shocked for it, a part of him knew but he wanted to think otherwise.

And damn, (Y/N) was crying.

Like, really hard.

“I’m sorry… I just-“

“Don’t… just… I just miss him… that’s all.” (Y/N) interrumped Uzui.

Oh boy, (Y/N) and Uzui had finally good communication.

“Nah, you’re right. I’m nothing like him… I tried, but I messed up.”

“Honestly, yes… but I know you had good intentions, don’t worry.”

“That isn’t enough… you know? I miss him too and I know how you feel. Maybe that’s why I started to take care of you on the first place.”

“You do it great… don’t worry, really. Just… be yourself, you are great.”

“Thank you.” Uzui smiled at (Y/N).

“Have you ever thought about having a baby with one of your wives? You’ll be a great dad!”

“Uh? Why?” Uzui asked with surprise.

“Well… I… I like to spend time with you… you… ugh, sorry, I don’t know what I am saying.” (Y/N) blushed a little and Uzui just laughed.

“I think I’ll just adopt you, my wives will love you.”

I have an scenario in mind where Rengoku is mostly like a father figure to (Y/N)/reader and after he died, reader started to feel depressed and Uzui is trying too hard to cheer reader up and to take care of her/him/them but it simply doesn’t work. It would be something very angsty but cute at the end :)

Then time passes and they start to date suddenly, the little demon was the one who confessed tbh, I think Inosuke is very bad showing romantic affection lol. Well, everything seemed normal between them, everything was going to a good direction, but Tanjiro has his doubts, they smell like Nezuko but stronger, also, only going out when the sun comes down? And they didn’t eat that much and if they get hurt, the wounds heal very quickly, everything was getting obvious.

And then, there was a mission to go to kill a demon, it was something like Enmu (by that, I mean about their strenght), so it was going to be a little difficult. The little demon was worried, but Inosuke was going to be okay, they knew how strong he is so they tried to calm down and just went to their house with Hotaru… or that’s what everyone thought, including Hotaru, because he promised that his daughter/son was with him the whole time and he went to sleep. Then suddenly he felt a cold air and he woke up, to notice that they disappeared and the window was open. Sun will come out soon, and he got sooo worried, he just literally started to run, scream their name and looking for them at every place he could.The little demon went to save the trio, even tho the demon they were fighting wasn’t probably that strong, the demon was strong enough to leave them weak, they tried to distract the other demon, fighting with them, but they got very injured, but that didn’t stopped them.

“Why you, a demon, are fighting against me?”

Tanjiro knew they were a demon but he wanted to believe he was wrong, Inosuke looked very happy with them, even Tanjiro and Zenitsu liked them. Inosuke didn’t mind, he was just a little surprised, but he didn’t care honestly, he was just thinking about protecting them now.

The sun was going to come out, it was the chance of the trio to fight the other demon, and distract them, but what about the little demon? They lied to them about being human? Probably, but they never did something bad. They were like Nezuko, kind and trying to protect them. They needed to chose now, escape to protect the little demon or fight. Inosuke didn’t thought that much, he took their hand and started to run but he was also very injured, so the little demon just suggested him to calm down and rest, while sacrificed themselves, the little demon fought with the other demon and they just went to the sun. Inosuke just watched how the little demon started to get weak with the other one and he ran to rescue them, but for him it was hard because he was just so injured. The other demon finally faded but the little demon, just stood there, fading too but slowly.

Inosuke finally got there, where the little demon was, and hugged them, tried to carry them on his back but it hurted so bad.

“Inosuke, stop. You need to rest.”

“I will not leave you here! Look at you!” Inosuke was crying? Which actually surprised the little demon and everyone to be honest.

“But I finally got what I always wanted… someone to truly love me.” They said before giving him a little kiss on his cheek.

And then the little demon heard the screams of Hotaru, screaming their name, and when Hotaru saw them fading just ran like there’s no tomorrow, pushing Inosuke to the other side.

“My little child! What happened?! Why are you fading?!”

“I guess is my moment to leave… thank you for everything.”

Hotaru wasn’t accepting this and just hugged them, and like Inosuke, he tried to carry them on their back but it was difficult since they were fading and parts of their body turning into dust.

“Dad… can I hug you? Honestly, I just want that right now.”

Hotaru hugged them thighly, it was obvious he didn’t wanted them to die, at least not right now. Hotaru started to sob uncontrollable, asking himself if he was a good father, if it was his fault all of this, and the little demon just said, like they just read his mind.

“I couldn’t ask for someone better than you… you are the best.” And then the little demon disappeared.

Hotaru and Inosuke’s hearts broke into pieces, both of them were crying, Hotaru really loved his son/daughter and raised them so well, and Inosuke finally met love, he loved them too.

LISTEN! I got an idea for a angsty fic of Inosuke.

Reader is a demon like Nezuko, they never hurted any human. And that’s because Hotaru found them when they were just a baby, they didn’t seem like an actual threat and he just was like “Man, this is a demon but they are just a baby” so he couldn’t kill them and raised them, and now they live like a normal person. But because they are a demon they can’t see the sun and just go out on the night. One day, Hotaru bring his daughter/son with them to help him to do swords and then give them to the trio and some Hashiras. And it was like love at first sight, Inosuke just cought their attention and oh my god? they just fell in love, it was obvious but Inosuke don’t get it until one day Tanjiro just told him. But the little demon don’t want him to get hurt, because they are a demon, and they just live with this fear of them hurting someone.

Okay, and he just said this to their father, Hotaru, about their crush with Inosuke. Hotaru wasn’t happy at first but then he understood what they felt, he has very bad social skills so he knows what it’s like to feel like alone or like a burden and he tries to make them feel better, not to feel like a weirdo. So he started to bring his son/daughter with him at night every chance he can, only because he wants to see them happy and with friends and maybe they can get a chance to date their crush, Inosuke. Inosuke and the little demon get along very well, they have a cute friendship at first and the little demon just wants to do the next step but they are afraid about hurting Inosuke, they don’t really care about getting rejected, they just want to see Inosuke happy and fine. Inosuke also feels things for the demon but he doesn’t even know how to say it, he doesn’t know what to do on situations like this.
