This is an original animatic I created, based on the movements of the Cyr Wheel performance by Angelica Bongiovonni of Cirque Eloize.  It was created a prompt challenge on AO3.

My story, Halo, is based on the Cyr wheel  itself, and her dance with the wheel.  The animatic doesn’t include the song, as it’s much longer than my video.  

My storyline: Aziraphale has never shared his halo with Crowley before, and invites him to a very special dance.

There are 51 art frames, which were created in Sketchbook Pro. The dance frames were originally traced from video stills to capture the dance movements. Each frame includes more than 10 layers of art to cover the movements, the character designs, backgrounds, colors, and dialogue. Originally there were over 80 frames, but I needed to edit down. 

This was created between March 6 and May 25, 2020. It’s my first animation project beyond a couple of gifs.

Here’s today’s Good Omens Celebration Anniversary Prompt Wallpaper!  Today’s theme is COTTON.  This was drawn a few days ago, before the whole Lockdown and Cake and Yet More Pining that began on May 1. So one can imagine this scene just taking place in the regular fanfic world where they end up together,which was my original motivation. OR…maybe Crowley did show up at the bookshop after all and things progressed beyond cake. It’s up to you!

I know the freckles = angel’s kisses thing has been done a lot with the tv versions of Aziraphale and Crowley, but I don’t think I’ve seen a book version and decided to remedy it.

@10yrsyart mentioned that Crow can’t have freckles on the regular, because that would make him too cute, and after drawing it, I am inclined to agree…
