I thought I'd make some Major Lorne-centric fic recs, because...gosh, I do like Lorne, you know (shocking! surprise!)? And I want people to read some of my favourite things and share the love. These are all shorter stories, all m/m (I'm going to do some gen and/or longer recs another day). Read them! Love them!!

Artistry, by lunabee34 (Lorne/Dex): This was written as a gift for me (me!!) back in the LJ days of SGA fandom, and I adore it. Short and sweet, the summary is: Once Lorne's artistic abilities become common knowledge, Ronon asks him to draw a new tattoo. There needs to be more of this pairing, and lunabee34 shows us why (~1600 words).

How not to light bird, by @shetiger (Lorne/Sheppard): Ooooooh, gosh, I love this fic so much. It's Sheppard POV, and the Lorne in it is freaking great. The story is interesting and explores some great ideas, and is hot. Some key tags: Military Figure Expected to Have Sex with Subordinate, D/s, chafing against assigned roles, loyalty as romance (~7500 words).

Crooked little mouth, by kho (Lorne/McKay): Also from back in the LJ SGA fandom days, one of my favourites. It doesn't seem to be on A03, so this is an LJ link. Kho's notes for this include, "I blame this on the hotness of Kavan Smith, and the wonderful dichotomy shown in The Runner between McKay and Lorne." And I am like - yes. Yes. I also very much appreciated those interactions. And this wonderful subsequent fic.

Notes of a Feather, by @hero-in-waiting (Lorne/McKay): Awesome, fun, and hot first time that really sells how these two might decide to hook up. Great set up, great pay off. Love it (~5000 words).
