P.S. Why do you think Tomoyo supported Syaoran so much? I mean from her perspective, Syaoran did not have a chance with Sakura given that Sakura had an enormous crush on Yukito? She must have seen something on the contrary right? Also, can we appreciate how adept she is at being the gadfly. She is truly amazing. ❤️ Also, I was reading the manga (this is actually the first time I am reading it) and it is so obvious that Sakura had subconscious feelings for Syaoran from nearly the beginning. The anime really toned that down and on the converse, amped up Sakura's feelings for Yukito. That was really unnecessary (and a bit annoying now that I am reading the manga, I am really enjoying Sakura's blatant affection for Syaoran in manga, poor boy has no idea how to deal with her exuberance).

Well, everything Tomoyo does certainly has Sakura's best interest in mind, and I am absolutely convinced that her amazing perceptiveness allowed her to see the feelings Syaoran and Sakura had for eachother even before they fully realized themselves. We saw that "process" from Syaoran's POV, but we kinda missed an explicit portrayal from Sakura's POV for the majority of the story because, as you said, there was also the crush for Yukito in-between, which acted as a "veil" that didn't allow her to see clearly the feelings she had for Syaoran till that "veil" was removed. But as you said, Sakura did have early displays of affection towards Syaoran, with all the spontaneous hugs she initiated, because feelings move the body even when the mind isn't aware yet (please stop me from making a parallel to a certain Hand™ of a certain someone in this Clear Card arc - whoops, too late 😆), so I completely agree that the hints were subtle, but they were there. Sometimes it's kinda shocking how Sakura talks with such honesty to Syaoran (like the "I'm sure the person you love loves you back because you're a wonderful person" scene) and doesn't realize her feelings in the least! I guess CLAMP wanted to keep us guessing till the end, and maybe that's why it was toned down in the anime as well (let's remember that 80% of the anime script was written by Ohkawa, and specifically, the whole Sakura Card Arc). But back to Tomoyo, I simply think that she saw the situation quite clearly and tried to help those two finding their way to be together, because she saw that in that moment that was the best thing for Sakura. The thing that would make her the happiest. ❤️

Don’t let people make fun of you for liking japanese culture.

I am living in japan right now and let me tell ya:

There are people here who can’t speak or understand English who play nothing but Missy elliot and ludacris, even in businesses like housing offices and restaurants.

There are people who have cowboy hats and dead cow skulls in their home because they idolize what they assume American homes are like.

There are people who learn English strictly through music videos and American television shows.

There are entire karaoke bars with english songs often sung by people who have no idea what the lyrics mean.

Japan often takes American shows like the powerpuff girls and make japanese versions of them.

They often mistake common Americans for celebrities. I have been mistaken for Micheal jordan, tiger woods, Shaquille o'neal, Tyler perry, and saddest of all: queen latifa.

The act of sprinkling English into your japanese sentences is considered cute and cool and is popular with teenagers. Bonus points if you happen to use it correctly.

Japanese stores sell shirts with english on them and people buy them not knowing that most of those word combinations are nonsense.

Don’t let someone shame you for singing an anime opening, using japanese in your sentences, wearing clothing with japanese on it, ect. If anything, this is just one more thing that you have in common with them.
