I agree, we do NOT have enough for aliens. Do you have any favorite cc/creators for alien stuff?

You mean like CAS? BB?

For CAS I love Pyxis and both my aliens and devils adore all those skin details. Another rec I can give is Patchy for both CAS and BB. There's rarely a house where I don't place those strange vines.

and of course can't forget Zaneida, the trailblazer of all CAS things unique-shaped and cartoonish.

I'm still hunting down more alien creators. Those and mermaids have really been done dirty be EA.

Someone who wants to stay anonymous sent me a chat massage requesting a CC set that is basically "Hellraiser meets Doctor Who and then the acid kicks in" - and since we don't have much for aliens, why not?

I LOVE how some of you just get unhinged once you feel comfy enough, and I adore getting those requests.

May need to consult Surely on that one again... this gonna be tacky. Might look good next to the man-eating plant tho. Let's wait and see

Owww ow ow. I know I'm an art style chameleon and pretty proud of it but after Rituals there won't be any more digital oil paintings. My wrists may as well just fall off at this point.

This has been simmering for a while - pun not intended- and it wants out. Now.

There is this style that blends all of those creators together into one sludge. It's soft, woody and beige. You know what a beige mom is? Like that, but for CC. It sucks the life out of everything and suddenly you are in a ball of cotton that's the color of pale peach at best. Everyone suddenly needs it. Why? Nobody knows. Sometimes I have problems telling who made what because it all mashes into one lump of clay. Answering those WCIFs is a guessing game sometimes.

For a community that is always screaming for diversity, this part of the CC community is a homogenous bland puddle of goop. There. I said it. @surely-sims put it perfectly above already. There is no soul, no culture, no personality nor style in those pieces because if it is nothing then it is safe, and if it is safe it sells. Hell, look at what the TS3 store has to offer. EA is definitely slacking as well.

Not everyone is going to want retro-futuristic, fewer want trad goth, garage glam, post punk or historically accurate! -- but the few who are hunting it down appreciate its existence.

That out of my system I blame this all on influencers. Like, the real world influencers. This patreon stuff is eerily similar to their homes and clothes and I get the feeling people eat it up so much because they want to copy that. Influencers are fake famous, so why not be copycats chasing trends just like them in the Sims?

Rant: The early access model has kind of creatively bankrupted CC, actually.

Download on SFS right here and now! C'mon. I know you want to. give into those intrusive thoughts. They are pretty optimized lightweight files too, no need to hesitate. Hmm? We all have a CC addiction, no shame in that.

I hope this is somewhat like what Anon requested. The set is literally just these 6 computers, all functional and coming in black/white with several color gradients each making it 12 swatches in total. Yes, there's RGB neon too. Why hold back? I'd sell part of my liver for that two-screened shiny babe. (Just kidding, I'm probably poisonous anyway)

These are playtested and basegame compatible. Most can be stashed in sims' inventories and have live-dragging enabled. Be nice to my girls here, will ya? Here's a closer look at each. Have fun with them!

Would you be interested in making a PC gaming set? There's like... 2 or 3 CC Gaming PC's that have more than one monitor or include a light up gaming tower... and most of it is alpha style, I'd love to see your take on it!

Well... that escalated quickly !

First one's my current pc, then there's an art tablet thing, a mini mac, and the RGB gamer tower that Anon requested. Two more (tablet + the abomination) and I'll release the set. I really needed this small distraction to get back into making this stuff. It's like art block, just with assets and designs, you know?
