PMD au but it’s rimworld

And what I mean by this is it’s a modded or unmodded rimworlder as a Pokémon doing whatever they want

There are so many ways you can make a story for this kind of character

Like, for example, a rimworlder is turned into a minchino who cannot evolve but he is a mechanitor and can control mechanoids in order to fight for him.

Rimworld is a storytelling game and if you mix it with pmd, you can truly get many wacky and weird but also awesome moments for a story in an au like this.

but yes!! someone from a world like that going into a pmd world with their knowledge/experience/etc and figuring out how to basically do the same things they did before in order to properly defend themselves or make their new life as a pokemon easier

A Typical Night

How did Gwilly become a Ghost type?

I hope these questions aren't annoying, by the way! I just like hearing about people's sonas. ^^

it's fine, it's been fun to think about recently lol

eevee!gwilly always had a fondness for both ghost types and grass types, pretty much in equal measure

sure, some ghost types could be scary, but?? every other type can be as well??

she just always had a bit of a connection to pokemon of those types, she understood them more and was more drawn to them over others

there wasn't really any big event around the time of her evolving, but it did happen in the middle of the night, which MIGHT'VE caused the part ghost to happen, but honestly that had nothing to do with it

it was always there/a part of her and always was going to happen sort of thing (like how her fur color wasn't 100% brown, she was born into it)

though because she's part grass and part ghost, she ended up also developing little fangs in her evolution lol (and learned giga drain)

she thrives both in sunlight and in moonlight (though she prefers the moonlight most of the time)

I'm a bit embarrassed to admit this, but I just can't handle when something like bigotry, or something like Pokemon eating each other comes up in relation to PMD. Like, I get it, it can be good to explore these topics and the possibilities they open up, but these are, my guys! My buddies! My comfort characters! I don't want to think about them being discriminated against! I don't wanna think about them suffering and being depressed and possibly hate crimed, I-I just don't! I came here to forget about that type of stuff, not think about it more! I'm not crying, whatever are you talking about? I'm totally normal about this! =)

Plus, I personally find it fun to think about, for example, Explorers!Hero trying to explain to the rest of the Guild what 'genocide' is because they mentioned it offhandedly and the word just doesn't exist in the Pokemon language. Or trying to explain to a trans Pokemon (Bidoof, Ampharos, Pancham, whoever else you headcanon as trans) or anyone that isn't straight (basically everyone tbh) that there were some people back in the human world that would've seen them as "groomers" for just, existing. Wild.

I'm probably the only one to think about this though.

it can be tough lol, it's understandable

unfortunately, due to budget cuts, the pokémon assigning quiz has been canceled. instead, you must spin THE WHEEL, assigning you a random, unevolved, non-legendary and non-mythical pokémon. you must now go on some sort of world-saving adventure as this pokémon. good luck!

tell me in the tags what you rolled, and how you feel about it - for bonus points, you can spin the wheel again for (or just take your pick of) a pokémon to be your partner.

bonus rules:

you're not shiny unless the wheel tells you you're shiny

take your pick of regional forms and evolutions (for example, if you roll vulpix, it's up to you whether that means normal or alolan vulpix)

apply whatever logic you like with regards to gender

PMD but the player character is a grunt from madness combat.

What I mean by that is they have all the skills of the grunt origin from madness project nexus and can learn all the skills the origin can usually learn.

I’m just thinking of the crazy things that the player would be able to do, that when compared to the “normal” of Nevada, would be strange for the Pokémon world.

i had to look this up because I had no idea what this was referencing lol

it would generally be hilarious and strange for hero to have abilities or knowledge of certain things that are VERY foreign to the pokemon world

Okay, I know this is stupid but it’s for giggles so bear with me:

Imagine Ark and Twig come home one day to find an egg on their doorstep. They both agree they’re probably not qualified to take care of a baby, so they gotta find someone else to take care of it — and suddenly the egg hatches. It’s a baby Darkrai. A literal newborn tiny Darkrai. No thoughts just baby mind.

And suddenly, Ark and Twig are the ONLY people qualified to raise this child. Panic ensues.

This was way too fun to make.

What did Gwilly look like as an Eevee? Was she also a Ghost type then, or did that happen during evolution?

she was a normal type eevee!

however, her color was not quite the normal brown of other eevees, there was a gray undertone to it? you couldn't really tell at a glance without a normal normal eevee right next to her though

also her fur had a slight wave/curl to it

but yes, the ghost type was gained along with the grass type when she evolved into a leafeon

PMD but the player character is trying to start a gang in the Pokémon world.

They’re still good but they just want to form a gang for good purposes.

they even kinda look tough and refer to themselves as a gang, but they do good things, so it's a little confusing at first but other pokemon get used to it
