Final update to the Boiled Cake Disaster™️. I wound up doing this three different ways in three different pans.

First split was the shorter circular pan. It’s a pudding. That’s it. Not very sweet, oddly enough.

Second was the rectangular pan. It… tastes like a corn pudding, just without the corn. I think this would actually taste good if I just dumped a can of corn in it and heated the whole thing up together.

Third was the taller circular bowl. The one that boiled the longest. I added a bit more fruit and sugar, and a packet of gelatin, and it’s delicious. Kinda reminds me of panna cotta, actually.

Never doing this again, but at least all the outcomes are edible.

I took more of it out and put it in a cake pan to put in the oven. I’m eating this, damnit. What’s left in the pot looks like applesauce, tastes like wet flour that fruit looked at once.

Okay, so the one I put in the oven looks edible. Kinda looks like a pudding instead of a cake. I make my tribe’s pudding all the time, so I have the feeling this one won’t be so bad.
