percy jackson trio casting!! (my views)

the new casting came out some days back and IM SO HAPPY ABOUT IT!

i genuinely think all the actors will do a great job and ngl walker gives so percy vibes with the way he talks

but honestly some people are being so racist about the annabeth casting. its not that big of a deal to not get blonde, white representation in one show.

the point of annabeth was to show struggles in overcoming the dumb, blonde stereotype. isn't casting a woman of colour even better? their struggle to overcome stereotypes is also extremely important.

she has been casted. by RICK RIORDAN. why do you think you know the series better than him? that's right, you don't.

yes, I'm not saying you can't be a tad disappointed that she is not the way as the books. but times are changing. the book was written a long time back. please stop being so dumb. are you forgetting that everytime you type rude things, this is a child you're saying that about?

Crows go shopping for clothes:

Kaz is cribbing about being forced to come here. Nina drags matthias and runs in. Jesper and wylan are somehow already there.

Nina returns with three bags filled with clothes. Matthais is holding these bags. She drags inej to the changing room for her opinions.

Kaz is forced to buy clothes so he buys 3 blazers (grey and black). Matthias grabs a few pale jackets and a pair of really cute jeans.

Jesper is grabbing all the colourful clothes he can see. All the clothes he's holding are patterned and vibrant, filled with life. Wylan is picking out soft, pastel colours. He has a couple of sweatshirts in his hand. He's also looking for wide leg light jeans, which he finds and also picks another pair of black jeans.

Kaz is being forced to buy casual wear (inej) so he picks loose tshirts in dark colours (and they show off his collarbone, so nina fake-swoons) (she gets hit in the stomach with inejs sharp elbow)

They go to the billing counter, and their total is 50000 kruge. Kaz glares at jesper and nina who bought clothes worth 20000 kruge each. They end up shoplifting almost everything and paying very little.

Annabeth hc's bc she's a queen and it was her birthday

- she loves small snacks, because then she doesn't have to sit through a whole meal.

- she eats very slowly. wait hear me out. so one day she and Percy are going to sally's house and she's made like a lot of food and Annabeth, being a foodie, pretty much takes everything, but takes over an hour to finish.

- she's a foodie, and likes Indian street food a lot.
