What do you mean the kids don't care? And no the villains aren't some kind of social justice warriors who will change the world for the better. They want to change the world for the worst where only they get what they want while the rest of the world suffers. It's not right they had to suffer sure but it's also not right they want others to suffer so they can live happy lives either.

I meant about what I said. The kids are good people but they’ve never once given though to any systemic issues with society. They’ve never shown to see anything wrong in the world that they need to do something about besides the bad actors called “villains”.

Even if it’s something that’s affected them like Izuku or Shinsou’s discrimination, or Shoto’s abuse at a heroes hand; they’ve never really thought of them as something that happens to others or (like the villains) as things to do something about just because they happened to them. They’re just the things they experienced that shaped them into the heroes they are now and want to be. Shinsou proved his naysayers wrong, Shoto escaped Endeavor’s influence, etc. These injustices are only ever things that happened to them in the past; and now that they’re past it, they’ve never cared again.

And I know the villains aren’t social justice warriors; I said so myself. But to say they’ll just make the world worse and make others suffer is a bold-faced lie. Dabi will ensure other kids like Shoto & Touya will not be abused further bey other heroes like Endeavor. Toga will ensure kids like her or Shinsou don’t face prejudice for their quirks. And if the villains are both defeated and ignored, the opposite will occur; those injustices will continue. Other Shotos will be abused, other Touyas will become Dabis, other Leagues will be formed, and we’ll loop right back to where we are now.

Of course. this is all incidental to the villains, but they’ll do it anyway because it happened to them once and they’re spiteful enough to not allow the systems in place to do it ever again.

You can’t just say “they’re villains so they’ll only cause others suffering” while ignoring what they’re actually after and acting like they just want to wreck sh*t to feel better about themselves, because that idea is easier to digest or whatever. This story is not so black and while.
