Why can’t we be friends?

Well, It’s mob vote season and I guess pressures have reached a peak this year. No Mojang hate from me but I just don’t see the point in them inciting fighting amongst their community. I just wish that they would stop the mob vote so the community and mobs can be friends again.

I’ve tried to avoid adding human clothes to my mermaids because I always had to ask myself: where did they get them? For today, I kind of embraced that idea and now this mermaid has some new duds!

Jewel of the sea

This honestly was the hardest one to draw due to the jewel-crystal texture, but the work was well worth it! I love how this one turned out!

I especially love her jewel eyes. She’s got such a stunning gaze, but, at the same time, an intimidating one cuz she can’t really blink.

Her behind is in deep fried trouble

MerMay Day 25: Food

Tempura shrimp always kinda looked like a mermaid tail to me. So I made a little shrimp mermaid with a tempura themed tail.

However, when I thought about the reality of it, I wouldn’t think any mermaid would like a fritter-cooked tail. Thus, I gave her a kinda shocked look.

Also, now that I’m writing this, the idea of her have a deep cooked tail is making me sad. So, executive decision, her tail is fine underneath and the batter like coating is just a magic (& curable) illness.
