belated birthday celebrations with my parents today ❤️❤️ we played pool at a local bar then sat outside in their backyard until it got dark. such a fun day!!
and!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i still can't believe this is real.. my parents surprised us and said they're taking us to costa rica in november 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 they've already bought the plane tickets, and all the resorts are already booked. we're going for 11 days and staying at 3 different resorts, starting in the cloud forest in monteverde, then ending up in the rainforest right beside arenal volcano. yaaaallll i could cry i'm so excited 😭😭😭
last night's d&d game + a pic of the little card pouch i sewed 🥰
we started a curse of strahd campaign last night!! i'm playing a hellfire tiefling death cleric. the campaign is incredibly fun so far, even though i almost died in the first battle lol
we had a slight change in our d&d party, our one friend who was a bit of a flake (and the main reason we haven't played much d&d in the past 6 months) officially left the group. and we had another friend join, and he seems super into it and was really fun to play with last night!
and now with this new party, we're able to play even more d&d! we're aiming for a session every other saturday. which is amazing, i get to play d&d 2-3 times a month now 😭
Obsessed with these fabrics I bought.. I don't even know what I'm gonna do with them yet. I might make a little bag for my d&d spell cards using some of the middle fabric 🤔
"Did My Time" is a song written and recorded by American nu metal band Korn for the film Lara Croft: Tomb Raider - The Cradle of Life. It was released as a single in July 2003 in support of the film, and was later featured on the band's sixth studio album, Take a Look in the Mirror. It was only released as a single for the film, and featured during the end credits. It did not appear on the motion picture soundtrack, due to certain clauses in Jonathan Davis's record contract at the time, the same reason why Davis could not release the original versions of the songs he composed for the Queen of the Damned soundtrack, which featured his vocals. The instrumental version of "Did My Time" was also featured on the PlayStation 2 fighting game Fight Club.
"Did My Time" became Korn's first and only top forty entry on the Hot 100, peaking at number thirty-eight in August 2003. The song received a nomination at the 2004 Grammy Awards for Best Metal Performance, but lost to Metallica's "St. Anger". This would be Korn's fourth nomination in the aforementioned category and their sixth overall.
The music video was directed by Dave Meyers, and featured the star of Tomb Raider; Angelina Jolie.
"Did My Time" received a total of 61,7% yes votes!
