Refusing to Yield Chapter 41

This is based on real life. Just names have been changed to protect the person identity. There is mention of all types of abuse. If trig, please don’t read it. Reader gets into a relationship with Kim Seokjin and Min Yoongi, but all BTS is in this series. There are other people mentioned in this series.

Yes, we are adding him to the family. Well welcome to the family Chris. Ann yes, Chris do you have the name of the fan who submitted our home area in the contest. I do not have it right this minute but after dinner I will get it for you. Okay that would be great. I want to see the name of the person. I might be able to get more information on them. Okay we will talk after dinner. I just want to enjoy this dinner with everyone here. The dinner was like all the other with adding Chris in the family.

Chris, please tell me you are joking around right now. No Ann I am not joking right now. Greg went to get everyone to come in the living room. Everyone yes, Greg in the living room now. Greg what is wrong? The person who entered the contest from our home used a false name, but her real name is Tiffany Hughes. Tim and everyone I went to school with comes running into the living room. The rest are right behind them. Ann just breath nice and easy for me please? Ann we are all here for you it will be okay.

We cannot pick that area to have a contest. Please do not make me go back to that area ever again. Ann, yes Tim you will never step foot in our home area again. When someone is granted, a stay way order it means they have been abused one way or other. I take it you or someone close to you was abused. Yes, Ann that is correct, so when Tom called me the first day you all were in Philadelphia, I knew I had to protect you at a cost. When cops get paid to look the other way and they do it just mean they never see it or been through it myself.

The second night in Philadelphia when told Bryan, Greg, Jason, and me he is so overprotective of Ann. I knew I would do the same thing has Fred. That is why every time Uncle Carl called for help with Ann I step up. In Fred case it was his young sister who died but mine was my oldest sister. That is what made me become a state trooper to help protect the ones who could not protect themselves.

You just want to play it safe with me instead of me not using anything and something happens to me. Yes, Ann you are correct about that. I know you do not what use the chair as a crutch. You would rather be being walking around. Your safety and wellbeing will always be my top priority to me. I have this question to both of you Dr. Storm and Bryan. Ann what is your question? What happens if the surgery does not do what we hope it is supposed to do. Ann yes, Dr. Storm we will cross that bridge if we must okay. Okay I will keep in open mind about everything.

Ann yes, Bryan that is all I want from you right now. I know you had doubts since you learned your mom knew about it when you were growing. You asked me that question in San Diego if I thought the surgery would help you. I will tell you the something now that I said then. You were just put in the chair right before we went on tour. Your legs are showing they want to work, but I understand you are still nervous. It is a healthy fear to have. Especially when you had it since you were a child. We are just going to have to wait and see what happens okay. Ann before your brain to the dark side no matter what I believe no one will walk away from you.

Bryan yes, Ann how did you know my brain was going to the dark side? You have a look Ann when the brain is trying to tell you the wrong thing. My surgery went okay but there was some complication that came up when they went to do my surgery. I will not explain right what the complication are because we are waiting to see if they become an issue. I want to thank everyone who started sending get well wishes. Plus, everyone who started entering the contest remember everyone the contest is only for the areas the group has never been. The deadline to enter is February 21st. Once we have the concert dates, we will announce the areas that won. As BTS always says love thy self.

Ann yes, Greg I have been investigating the social media page of the person who sent the entry from our home area. Greg yes, Ann what does it show. They have a picture of the group on their page. Okay so they are fans of BTS? Yes, Ann it does look like they are fans. Is there anything about me? Only about how you are doing a great job being the manager of the group. Greg yes, Ann I still have this bad feeling about them. Ann yes, Greg what do you mean you have a bad feeling. I still feel like it might be a set up.

Ann yes, Tim what do you mean it still feels like a set up? Everyone looks at the pictures on their page. They look like old pictures from when the group first debut. If they were true fans wouldn’t, they have new pictures of the group. Plus, look this page was only made right before we went on tour. Ann honey we all see that. I need to know the name of this person. Greg, Tim, and Jason yes Ann do you guys remember the girl who would make comments about me. When we all were in school? I am only seeing images of people and what happened there. I have been taking them in my sleep. I didn’t realize I was taking them until Bryan asked me if my brain turned back on or if I had a flash back in my sleep. When we were outside early this morning. Okay thank you, for coming clean about having them in your sleep. Plus, none of us are mad at you since you didn’t realize until early this morning. We need to start keeping a record of what happened before Ann takes a flash back. I do not know how to ask Ann. If the flash backs happened when stuff what wrong on the tour. Because if that is the only time, we are in the clear but if not then I am concerned the pattern has changed.

Fred yes, Ann can you do me a favor please. Yes, I can Ann. Would you go inside pull Tim a side let him know the flash backs only happened stuff went wrong on the tour. Why do in need to tell Tim that. I was listening to the audio and that is one thing Bryan is worried about and does not know how to ask me. Ann cannot explain something to Fred, Greg, and Sam. They are hoping she might be able to explain to you and you guys explain to the rest of us. Papa m we cannot turn the audio surveillance right now. Did Ann tell you why she is listening to the audio? I figured it out before we talked to Ann. Ann’s brain is trying to go on the dark side again. Listening to audio is helping Ann stay on the good side. Bryan, we need to find someone for Ann to talk about everything. Ann yes, papa m I will do anything to try to help you get better. Sam yes, Ann can I get in the pool today just to walk around in it? Sorry Ann you cannot get in the pool until the drainage tube comes out and the staples are removed. Okay Sam, I understand. Ann, would you like to walk a little out here right now. I would like that a lot. We are going to take it nice and slow.

Fred yes, Sam, I would like you to be on Ann left side? I can do that for you Sam. Bryan yes, Sam, I would like to go down about 10 feet so Ann can walk to you? I can do that for you Sam. Jin or Yoongi yes, Sam, I would like one of you to be on Ann’s right side? Yoongi go I can do that for you Sam. Big R yes, Sam would you please follow us with the wheelchair. This way once we get down to Bryan, we can put Ann in the wheelchair. I can do that for you Sam. Ann yes, Sam, I only want you walking 10 feet for right now.

I want to see how you do right now then later we will increase the feet. Bryan or I see any kind distress we are going to stop, and we will try tomorrow okay everyone? Yes, Sam, we hear you. Ann yes, Sam it is for your well-being we do not let you push yourself too hard. You have not been able to use your legs for over three months, right? Yes, Sam that is correct. If you try to push yourself to fast it might hinder the healing process. The only three people who will not be rotated out of helping Ann is. Bryan, Big R, and I since we have the medical training. I want everyone to help Ann in their own way.

Okay Ann you ready to get up and walk a little right now? Yes, Sam let’s do this. I had no problem walking the 10 feet. I got back in the wheelchair to go rest for a little bite. We increase it by 10 feet each time I walked today. We got to 50 feet when my legs started to feel tired. Sam yes, Ann can we stop for today? Yes Ann, we can stop for today. Ann is there something going on? My legs feel like they are getting tired.

Okay let’s stop and get you in the wheelchair. That would be great Sam. Ann yes, Sam you did good for today. You walked almost 50 feet a day after your surgery. I say that is something to be proud of Ann. You really think so Sam. Yes, Ann I do think so. Plus, you walked by yourself earlier this morning with no help. Ann yes, Sam you need to give yourself more time. Your conditions did not happen overnight, and you cannot expect to get better overnight.

Plus, pushing yourself is going to slow down the healing process. Okay Sam, I will not push myself to get the legs strength back. Ann yes, Sam that is all I am asking from you. It will come back in time but remember it might not be the same as before. I am okay with that Sam just as long has some of it comes back. We are just going must wait and see how much comes back Ann okay. I am okay with that. I would like to make dinner for everyone if that is okay Sam? Ann that is okay as long has you have help. Nana and Lisa would you two like to help me make dinner tonight?

Yes, Ann we would love to help you. Nana can you help Lisa into the kitchen? Yes, Ann of course but how are you getting in there? I am going to wheel myself in like I use to do. After I landed in this chair. Okay ladies get go to the kitchen and make dinner for everyone. I am glad to see a smile on Ann and Lisa face. Mike what are talking about? Ann and Lisa look happy Bill Jr. when you mom agreed to cook with them. Mike yes, Mark, I saw it also.

It like the girls have an older woman they can look up to and do things with her. I know how much this means to Lisa. Because she has only had Chris, John, and me to do things with her. Now see Lisa has more people wanting her to be in her life. It makes me happy. It is good for both girls Mark. I am curious on what the ladies are going to make for dinner. Nana yes, Ann I pulled a roast out earlier. Can you get me the roasting pan out of the cabinet next to the stove? Yes Ann, I can do that.

Lisa here are potatoes. Can you please peel them and cut them into pieces for me? Yes Ann, I can do that for you. I am going to start getting everything else prep for dinner and dessert. Nana seasoned the roast and put it in the oven with potatoes. Lisa also peeled the carrots. I made the salad and made homemade ice cream to serve over brownies. While in the kitchen making dinner and dessert Chris had shown up. Uncle Bill brought Chris into the kitchen for me to met him. Ann yes, Uncle Bill, I would like you to met Chris from the hacking team with the State troopers.

Chris it is nice to met you finally. Ann it is nice to met you also. Dinner is almost done Uncle Bill. Before we have Fred and little w set the table. My mom and Frank showed up to the college the day after I left the house. Chris was in my Criminal Justice class with me. Coming out of our lecture mom and Frank tried to glad me. Chris got in front of me just like Fred does. They left when Chris would not let them get anywhere near me. I told him a little bite what was happening. Instead of me staying the rest of the day on campus Chris brought me back to little w places. I called little w on the way back home. I told little w a friend from my Criminal Justice class was being me home because of a problem on campus.

Once we got their little w was outside waiting for us. After we got inside Chris told them what had happened on campus. Little w asked Chris to make sure I made no more trouble on campus. Chris kind of took that job seriously. If a guy tried to approach me, they did not get a chance. Little w started inviting Chris over the house to hang out with us.
