I cannot believe there's absolutely no way to watch free shows and movies anymore, there are too many paid streaming platforms and pirating websites have viruses and ads preventing you from watching it uninterrupted((.)) id rather follow the rules and purchase media moving forward because it is too inconvenient. Seriously, free and no ads or viruses with 1080p streaming is DEAD.

I know "60s housewives who invented slash fanfiction" has taken on a life of its own as a phrase, but Kirk/Spock didn't really exist until the 70s and THOSE WOMEN HAD JOBS. They were teachers and librarians and bookkeepers and scientists and they damn well spent their own money going to conventions, printing zines, buying fanart and making fandom happen. Put some respect on their names.

Update: I ended up confronting one of the girls that I’m close with about it and she said it wasn’t meant to exclude people and that it just came to be. And sure, but when it has more than half the cohort in it it’s like,, come on. And they all took beautiful pics at graduation together before the ceremony so ended up thinking about that on my graduation day. Yay. I graduated though which is cool.

So I could totally be wrong, but it APPEARS as if a good chunk of the folks in my grad school cohort are in a big group chat without me. Whenever I see people chatting in it I feel like I’m going to throw up. I feel like I’m in fucking middle school. Do they hate me? Why don’t they like me? Did I do something? Just some inner thoughts from class..
