What’s that ship dynamic where there’s two people who are so gut-wrenchingly complicated that only they can truly understand each other. Like the world could mischaracterize them and/or misperceive their intentions to hell & back but at the end of the day they know themselves & only they can understand each other. Sure, they won’t always get along as a result of their unique dispositions, but they will always return back to each other. They will never feel alone so long as the other simply lives & breathes

Can't help but imagine Steven (from Kekkai Sensen) overhearing me (in self-insert form) admitting to my physical dating preferences (that get thrown out the window for personality...) and then going to question my other F/Os to see who else struggled (as in I didn't accept Steven as an F/O until others convinced me... [hi Oasis!])

And then getting upset that he was the only one. Until he confronts me...

That encounter doesn't go well, there's a lot behind that resistance (a lot I don't like talking about tbh)

#sometimes I try to think about it but... #its more like they just show up and start following me around like ducklings (even tho I'm smol and typically younger) #tho mostly its a random date or the day I saved their picture to my phone :p

The problem with some of my romantic F/Os (Kakashi and All Might) is that there's more story potential [angst, drama, etc.] in them having a child they must raise. So instead of some cool badass OC with a powerful man doing his best to drool over her (me in a fancy costume) I have young daughters that take their base issues and make it worse!

Even worse is that those are usually the FIRST OC I end up making for the character even though I'm the one drooling over them (Kakashi and All Might) as possible romantic partners...
