When a Hero passes away their soul takes on the form of a winged wolf. Whether its a blessing or a curse, they spend their days along with their god wandering and protecting Hyrule.
They are primarily seen only at night and all across Hyrule. The only area they are guaranteed to be spotted is Korok Woods.
The only time they were ever seen in the daylight was in an event shortly after the First Calamity. Persecuted, homes burned and with nowhere to go, Termitius himself along with his pack of heroes guided the Sheikah to their new home which is now known as Kakariko Village.
Since then, all Sheikah have vowed to never harm any of Termitius's sacred animals and he is to be worshipped alongside Hylia. In response, Termitius willed that none of his sacred animals harm a Sheikah (unless Yiga) and blessed their warriors with techniques and skills that put most to shame.
-----
I had doodled a Fierce Deity wolf and it peeked some peoples intrest
For those who are curious about Termitius's sacred animals they are: Wolves, Owls, Deer, Rabbits and Dragons
Note: These animals may be hunted but only out of necessity. Termitius is not only the god of warriors and battles, but hunters too.

Hahaha.... Aonuma said something kinda spooky today.
Oh?
*runs and does a quick search*
Ah! This?
I kind of got that sense with Breath of the Wild but it became pretty clear with Tears of the Kingdom. Been sitting on a partial draft on this topic for a couple weeks now:
The Final Fantasy series is comprised of separate games that each have very individual story arcs with unique casts of characters (although there is always a Cid) set in different—but in some cases very reminiscent—kingdom / worlds / planes from each other. Some things remain the same across all: skill classes, Chocobos, meta musical themes, the concept of airships, etc. The first Final Fantasy on the NES was originally inspired by Dungeons & Dragons, and like D&D, SquareSoft (later Square Enix) had—over the course of the first few games—created a meta framing system that has remained loosely consistent across the now 20+ games for decades, and the stories told within that just-enough-to-feel-familiar framework are (with the exception of a few sequels) unique.
It feels like the Legend of Zelda franchise had done the same thing, but was willing to tease consistency to a larger timeline. The timeline was arguably never really very important, so much as the consistency of a system / framework-level symbols that provide a bit of familiarity: a Hero, a Princess, a Master Sword, a Royal Family, rupees, at least the appearance of the Triforce, etc. Like Final Fantasy, each LoZ game was a different telling of a story within their meta framework—and at the very most could be connected via multiverse shenanigans—but are were never intended to be truly linear.
I’m pained writing that last bit, because there is just enough signal to feel like it’s all connected, or by creating associations and interpretations across the games, one gets the thrill of feeling like they’re onto something.
That meta game of trying to piece it all together might be one of the most maddening and endearing qualities of the Legend of Zelda franchise.

Legend of Zelda OC: Selatoh
Tumblr media
She is Sidon's twin sister, though she looks more like Mipha if Mipha had been a hammerhead shark. Selatoh is very combative and fierce, as well as protective over Sidon. Having taken up fighting, she has many tiny scars on top of the large slashes from a Lizalfos she fought when she was still small. Her hip armour is a very complex weave of metal and fabric while her chest plate, gauntlets, and greaves are simply padded.

Another candidate for A Link Too Young: A Digimon-Human hybrid. Whose small extended family is his mother (a former Tamer herself), his uncle (an ex-Gogglehead Tamer) and the various Digimon from their past journey/journeys. Named “Rinku” in this verse, I’m still trying to figure out his Digimon father.
Au in question. This is gonna get chaotic considering Rinku has the equivalent of full on nukes in firepower if their partners reached Mega/Ultra stages respectively. Also a Demon Digimon father would be perfectly ironic when you consider the usual Digimon antagonists and normal LoZ enemies. Even moreso if the equivalent of Gru from Despicable Me in temperament aka loved plus supports his family.
