Aftg takes place in 2006-7 right? So imagine if Andrew has this giant CD case that he keeps under the seats of the Maserati because he can't stand the South Carolinian radio stations. (Kevin insists they leave it on to listen to exy games but Andrew refuses.)

Matt, being the main driver for the upperclassmen, also has a giant CD case of their music.

My point is, when Andrew and Matt start bonding via parent trap shenanigans where Neil switches their CD cases. Forcing them to contend with the fact that A. they both like cars and B. the other has good music taste.

Mild tsc spoilers

Ok but this is literally so sweet. It’s such a small moment but I’m freaking out over Cat and Jean’s friendship.

Like in retrospect it’s so small, one line acknowledging it. But the friendship between the four of them means everything to me. It shows that they probably spent hours in the kitchen prepping and cooking and making the containers with stickers. It such a simple act of love and I’m bawling over it.

I wonder what was going on with Jeremey and the police towards the beginning.

For reference:

I have a few theories. A) it has to do with whatever scandal Jeremey was a part of. B) it has to do with his step-dad being a congressman and something fishy going on with his step-grandpa. C) it has to do with Jeremey's other brother (who we never see). or D) it's a convoluted mixture of all of the above.

I'm leaning towards D.

AHH just got in a fight with Amazon to get my hands on TSC but its here!!! Its here and I'm freaking the fuck out.

SPOILERS FOR CHAPTER 1

Oh Renee Walker the woman you are.

Jean and Wymack interactions were not something I was expecting and I'm sobbing. What the fuck. What the fuck. This is chapter one I'm not supposed to be crying yet.

Wymack is just so used to it and so resigned because Jean is just another Fox even if he isn't a Fox. He's seen kids lying about their injuries for years, probably before the Foxes too. Even if Jean's case is extreme he's just so used to it. He never gets mad at Jean for not accepting that he got out, that he doesn't belong there.

Abby's little "You injured it on court" was great. Because yeah, it sounds ridiculous when she says it like that but for years, that excuse has worked. No one has ever questioned them being from outside of the court. Of course he falls back on it.

I'm just—ugh I needed to say that. I'm sobbing. I'll be back with more updates because I have no irl friends that know about this series (series! not trilogy anymore!!) so I'm screaming into the void over here.

I feel like I need to let you know that "Burn all the things you're supposed to burn" is such a good playlist and it's shown me a lot of new songs/bands to listen to! I have trouble listening to new music, and it's genuinely such an amazing playlist and I enjoy it a lot. I listen to music when I read, and it's hard to fond music/playlists that match up with a fic or book's tone, but this playlist has been so perfect for a couple books I've been reading, and I wanted to let you know that.
