AJ is a playful, carefree girl who likes fashion, adventuring, and giving people hugs. She loves making people smile and having fun, but she’s a bit naive and impulsive. These last two traits often lead her into trouble, but she takes it all in stride.

FULL NAME: Bertha Janice Holloway
BIRTHDAY: February 22
AGE: 8
SEX: Female
Twist is AJ’s best friend/neighbor, whose nickname comes from the scar on her cheek (the result of a corkscrew incident). She’s gotten so used to being called Twist that she actually hates being called by her real name (Bertha), but, of course, her parents call her by her real name anyway.
Twist is shy and can be prone to teasing at times, but she has a heart of gold underneath it all, and she’ll do anything to protect her loved ones.

“The Monster I Fought”, an updated version of “AJ the Very Whimsical: Volume I”, and “AJ the Very Whimsical: Volume II” are currently in the works! “AJ: Volume I” and “Monster” should be done in the next couple of weeks, and “AJ: Volume II” should be done hopefully by February!

I see a girl, you see a man,
I see her blue eyes, you see her boyish figure
You have been blinded by the hate-sword in your hand,
The weapon you chose to vanquish your foes
Is instead weakening you and your band
WHERE DID IT ALL GO WRONG?
Your “facts” were outdated,
Your fear was misplaced,
It was the evil acts you should have hated,
“Macho women”? “Fairer men”?
Neither should be erased!
Equality is the only cure for this world
Gay, bi, black, white, trans, cis, straight —
Let all their flags be unfurled!

Pepsy and Pizza are Twist’s bumbling, hot-tempered, mischievous twin sisters. They’re completely identical, with the same gray eyes, messy brown hair, button-like noses, and gremlin-like thirst for attention.
Similar to their big sister, Pepsy and Pizza aren’t their real names; their grandpa just started calling them that when he moved down to Neila to retire, and the nicknames stuck. The twins’ real names are Ann-Marie and Cleopatra, respectively.

⦁ BIRTHDAY: January 12
⦁ AGE: 25
⦁ SEX: Female
⦁ OCCUPATION: Cafeteria worker
Blaze is AJ’s doting mother. Her nickname stems from the time she accidentally burned a cinnamon roll in her high school cooking class. Ever since then, she’s signed her name Angel “Blaze” so it’s longer than everyone else’s.
Blaze can come off as ditzy and delusional at times, but she means well. She only wants what’s best for her daughter, and if that means teaching AJ to say “a vos souhait” (bless you) when someone burps, then so be it!
