Tench Tilghman's hair is described in his memoirs as auburn. @pr0fess0r-b1tch helped me source this and found this quote for me (as our resident Tilghman expert):
"The personal appearance of Col. Tilghman was that of a gentleman of medium height and slender form. His complexion was fresh and florid, his eyes gray, and his hair a rich auburn, worn in queue, according to the fashion of the day. He was not insensible to the advantages of dress, in which he was scrupulously neat and regardful of the mode."
Tilghman came from a Quaker background and followed the way of life and rules of them as such, similarly to his mother. He would likely be more plain in how he dressed, but Anna Tilghman, his wife, allegedly mentioned that the portrait of him shown below depicted him as much fuller than he actually was. It's likely that he was thinner due to war but also stature.
Tumblr media
If I'm not mistaken, Maryland Historical Society or the State of Maryland has possession of his coat and deduced by its measurements that Tilghman was roughly 5'6" (167 cm) to 5'8" (172 cm) tall and average for the time.
Fun fact: Richard Kidder Meade was apparently the fastest horseman and also shortest aide to Washington. It's like that he had the build and height of a modern-day horse jockey, which would explain his ability to ride faster than most since jockeys are often smaller.

To my recollection, his wife described him as having red hair, something I mentioned a while ago as being raspberry or strawberry blond, but I would need to find the source again. I may come back to edit this later with the update.

It's entirely worth mentioning that in season 4, episode 1, when Arnold tells Rivington that he was promoted to spyhunter general, he uses the title "Lord" in front of Clinton's name. Clinton was never a Lord, and was rather a Knight of the Order of Bath. Clinton achieved the title of Grand Knight Cross, the highest of the knights of Bath, and would have therefore had the title "Sir".
Cornwallis, however, was a Lord and a Marquess. He would have the title of "Lord" and "Sir", though the latter was moreso for respect.
I was unsure why Alexander Rose and the other writers had called Clinton a Lord when he was not one. The closest title Clinton had to that, because Lord implies noble blood or land-owning of some sort, would have been the Governor of Gibraltar that he achieved shortly before his death.

I'm actually incredibly frustrated about how the victor writes history. Not because of all the obvious injustices, but because I can't fucking find information about General Clinton, his memoirs, his writings, or his staff. We have names and bare info about all of Washington's aides, but so little on Clinton. It's infuriating
