Some shipping headcanons that won't let me sleep

- LEVYAKU || Yaku is hesitant to get with Lev for a while. It's not because of his blunt remarks or his endless amounts of both energy and blind optimism. Hell, it's not even the guys height that rubs him the wrong way. He never admits it outloud, but Lev is just out of his league. Almost like they're playing different games. Lev is charming despite the lack of tact, he's easy to get along with, he's good looking, and tall. And yaku isn't unaware of his flaws. Saying his patience is thin is gracious. Swinging first and asking questions later is no doubt a red flag for some people. And yeah he knows he's not ugly, but there isn't a long line waiting to hand him confessions either. He figures after a couple more kicks the guy will get the hint to move on. (But of course he doesn't because lev is stubborn and refuses to back down from a challenge that hasn't told him no outright)

- ENNOTERU || I firmly believe that Terushimas on the spot attraction to Ennoshita stems from his respect for daichi. Like the next game they play during their third year Terushima can see how stable and confident ennoshita is and its almost a call back to that last game. But the thing is, this boy has a sharp tongue. He's able to throw quips right back at him from across the net while actively keeping his team in line. And it's kinda hot. He takes the same approach that he did when trying to get Kiyoko's number after their game but it is significantly easier to corner him but the suspicion feels 10x higher. But then again Terushima loves a challenge.

DAISUGA || from the outside they look like a boring, domestic couple that just banter a lot. And that's not far from the truth. Dates are kind of hard to plan. They try to go on cutie dates like the one time Suga dragged Daichi to the planetarium or when Daichi took them to a botanical garden. But Daichi fell asleep and started to snore during the presentation of the Andromeda galaxy and Suga's allergies were unbearable as they walked through the flowers. They try to be cute but the best dates are the ones spent at home with dinner or when Daichi gives on and let's Suga draw on his back with washable markers while he falls asleep to a war documentary

ASANOYA || Noya has spent way too many hours watching braiding tutorials on YouTube. And he's horrible. Like he tries, he tries to hard. But there is no saving the wilting milkmaid braid sliding down Asahi's face. And Asahi is so patient and always makes sure to compliment and praise noya for his hard work and improvement. But asahi is also tender headed and cries a little when he has to untangled his hair after an hour

I got pet owners on my mind because of my best friend

- Daichi is easily a dog guy. I can see him with like sweet pit mix.

- Osamu has a tarantula. He let's it sit on his shoulder and crawl around on him. He has also terrorized Atsamu with it.

- Tsukishima has lizard. Like a bearded dragon or a spotted gecko. It's his baby

- Yamaguchi has a pomeranian that has a bowtie on its collar

- Suga has a hamster that rolls around in one of those plastic balls and he has a giant tank with diy hamster furniture that he bullied daichi and Asahi into helping with. The most spoiled hamster

- Growing up Asahi had a pet rabbit who he loved with his whole heart but the rabbit preferred his older sister

- Terushima has a ferret. That boy has ferret energy and you can't tell me otherwise

Please have some more headcanons as I procrastinate writing finals papers

- fukunaga and kinnoshita have pump up playlists for the bus rides to games. Both of them are full of screamo music

- Bokuto will make sandwiches just because he's craving kewpie mayo

- noya doesn't wash his uniform shorts for good luck. Asahi and daichi have gotten really good about sneaking noyas gym bag to a laundry mat before it becomes a biohazard

- suga tried to learn the ukulele but got frustrated after an hour and now it sits on a shelf in his closet

- every year kuroo makes kenma dress up with him in matching costumes on Halloween since they were kids

- kuroo has def gone as princess peach to kenmas apathetic mustache-less mario

- tendou sleeps on ushijimas floor when he can't go to sleep because of middle school demons. When he walks over he has his pillow hugged to his chest and his blanket draped over the top of his head like a cloak

-ushijima tries to get him to go back to his room so he can "get proper sleep" but has since learned tendou doesn't listen and now keeps and extra pillow in his closet for proper hip support.

-yamaguchi has a lil cactus that he started to call tsuki as a joke but then it stopped being a joke

- when tsuki caught him and asked him to repeat the name yams panicked and said the name was yuki

Some Ennoshita Headcanons

- he has the neatest handwriting of everyone on the team and Tanaka loves to comment on it.

-tanaka also makes ennoshita write his confession letter to kiyoko so she can actually read it and because "she deserves to read how beautiful she is"

- is the only karasuno player not afraid of clowns and really loves the circus aesthetic

- claims his favorite movie is some "cinema classic" like Casablanca but it's actually some romcom with a star studded cast like He's Just Not that Into You

- he goes rollerskating with Noya on Sundays after he makes the other study

- his favorite drink is orange juice and he craves it after games

- he loves Sanrio and his favorite pen has Tuxedo Sam on it

- has fallen asleep once in class and the embarrassment from his head slamming on the desk will follow him to his grave

Grab bag of headcanons:

-Tanaka has given Ennoshita one of those Gucci Peppa Pig shirts. Has Ennoshita ever expressed any sort of thought about her? No. When asked, tanaka just shrugged and said "it just made sense".

-One time Suga lost a bet and had to bring Daichi and Asahi lunch. He just brought them each a bag of random ingredients he found in his kitchen.

- Asahi always has a spare shirt and tie in his bag just in case. He also has one for Noya too.

- Yamaguchi has a collection of cool rocks in his room. Whenever he finds a new one he takes a picture and sends it in a gc he has with Hinata, Lev, and Inuoka.

- Tsukishima listens to true crime podcasts on the bus to games.

- Ennoshita had a gay panic when he first saw Terushima's tongue piercing.

-Yaku and Suga text each other pretty frequently. It started off with asking each other for advice when it came to looking after the team but now they talk about k-pop, dramas, and gossip.
