Hello gonchers!

Someone changed the password to our original account, @gonchmovie. So we remade, this time more tightly controlling the account info :)

We are a project intending to bring Goncharov to the screen! We try to incorporate as much of the gonchlore as possible, but of course it's not possible to include all of it. We are not trying to cement this specific canon as "the correct one." They are all correct. Goncharov (1973) had a truly impressive number of director's cuts and extended editions /j

So against his better wishes, Alec kept saying no. Sixteen times till date, Alec had said no. Alec wondered how long it would take for Magnus to stop asking, for Magnus to eventually give up. Would Alec feel relief, to not have to keep declining the man every single time? Or would Alec be broken irreparably, left to wallow over missed opportunities? The latter, Alec knew deep down. Of course, the latter.

This fic was initially written for Flufftober (Day 1 - Sick), but then we picked up some angst along the way, because of course we did.

Fanfiction Fandom: Shadowhunters (TV) Rating: Mature Pairings: Magnus Bane / Alec Lightwood Warnings: violence Summary: The nephilim were unkillable, because they couldn't get sick and couldn't be touched. That was one of the basic certainties in the Shadow World. They were a safe bet to call upon when in danger, even if a bit too ignorant and full of themselves.

Magnus had worked with them and spoken to them, rolled his eyes at them and occasionally engaged in verbal sparring. Nothing more, as they belonged in their own little closed off world.

He never planned to end up learning one's true name.

Neither did he know what he was supposed to do with it.

(The premise is very loosely inspired by a concept from The Inheritance Cycle book series)
