Kiss Me - Jade West x Fem!Reader
Plot: You show up at Jade’s house, covered in cuts and bruises. She takes care of you, but she isn't happy about it.
You rang the doorbell, hovering your finger in preparation for a second ring. Just an extra precaution to make sure Jade heard you at her door, you're pretty sure she was asleep.
You were surprised to see the door practically fly open on the first ring, the porch light illuminated Jade’s concerned face.
She stared at you for a moment, before stepping onto her porch and quickly enveloping you in a tight hug.
"Hi," you choked out as Jade gave you one final squeeze. She spun around and walked into the house, leaving you dumbstruck on the porch.
* * *
"I brought food," You offered to her, shrugging off the sweatshirt you had on, riddled with sweat.
Jade didn't respond, her back was turned towards you. "Your favorite kind," you try to coax her out of the silent treatment, hoisting the bag of IHOP pancakes into the air.
Still nothing.
You sighed, carelessly dropping the bag onto her kitchen table. "Jade,"
She walked out of the room, and you stood in disbelief. "Where are you going?"
She was back quickly, a small first aid kit in hand.
"Sit." She quietly demanded, and you smiled at her voice. Not wanting her to get more upset, you obeyed.
* * *
Jade avoided eye contact with you,  you had given up trying to meet her gaze, it was useless.
Her hand delicately held your face as she swabbed a wet cotton ball around a large cut. You winced at the sting, and you didn't miss the flash of concern on your girlfriend's face.
"Ow." You grimaced as she spread Neosporin over your cut.
"Keep icing your eye." Jade moved your hand back in its original spot, resting on your left eye. "It'll be swollen shut by morning if you keep this up."
Her hand cupped your jaw, and you saw this as an opportunity to lean forward, attempting to place a kiss on her lips. She dodged your kiss, your lips ended up briefly kissing her cheek.
"Hey!"
"Hold still." She concentrated on cutting a piece of medical tape, getting frustrated when the scissors got stuck in the tape.
"Why won't you kiss me?"
Jade looked unamused as you stared at her with big eyes. "Jade!"
"What." She muttered, carefully placing the piece of medical tape over a gash.
You rolled your eyes, while Jade concentrated on another cut, this one placed above your eyebrow. She stared at it disapprovingly and hesitated to ask how you even got it in the first place.
"Are you hurt here?" Jade gestured to her torso, and you almost shook your head no, just so she wouldn't look at you with disappointment. But the aching pound coming from your ribs was too much, and you nodded your head.
"Yeah."
Jade showed no expression, almost as if she was expecting that answer. She tugged off your long sleeve, tossing it to the floor.
"Y/n..." Jade whispered, ghostly tracing all of the marks on your stomach that would surely turn into bruises by morning. She softly pressed into your ribs, causing you to cry out in pain.
She felt the other one, and you gasped.
"Sorry," Jade whispered, feeling your stomach now. "Nothing broken," She paused, feeling your rib again. "Just badly bruised."
You nodded, putting the ice pack meant for your eye on your rib, sighing at the cold relief.
"Keep icing your eye," Jade snapped. "I'll get you more ice packs."
* * *
"Are you gonna tell me what happened?"
You glared at Jade who was staring at the wall, completely ignoring your presence.
"Are you gonna stop this bitchy attitude?"
Jade looked at you in shock, and you sighed. "Sorry."
Jade’s hand remained pressing on the ice pack that was icing your eye, making sure you didn't take it off. Her eyes avoided you again, looking anywhere else in the room as she continued applying pressure to your face.
"Jade," she swallowed hard, looking up at the ceiling to avoid any tears. "I shouldn't have yelled, I'm sorry."
She looked at you with tearful eyes, "You should rest."
"Can't we talk about this?" You tried to reason, but she stood up from where she was sitting on the couch. Already, you missed her presence.
"Not right now," Jade murmured, dropping a pillow onto the floor.
"Are you going to sleep here?" You gestured to the floor as she pulled a throw blanket over her.
"In case you need me," Jade confirms, and you shake your head with a smile.
"I love you." You tell her, hoping to get her attention.
"Get some sleep." Jade ignores your little confession and rolls over, her back facing you.
"You are impossible, woman," you huff, slowly standing up. You tap Jade’s back with your foot.
"What are you- Y/n?"
"Scoot over."
"What?"
You lower yourself carefully to the ground, reaching up to grab a pillow. You place it on the floor, Jade watches you with a glare. You get all nice and cozy, curled up next to Jade and she sighs.
"You should really be icing your eye," Jade says, half thinking about retrieving the ice pack from the couch.
"My eye will be fine."
Jade scoffs. "Yeah, swollen shut."
You laugh quietly, "stop worrying."
Jade shakes her head, sitting up to stare at you. Suddenly you feel small under her burning gaze.
"God, Y/n how can you not care?"
"Care about what?"
"Me!" Jade yells, and you stare up at her in confusion.
"I care about you, of course, I care about you!"
"You don't seem to give a damn about how many ways this could have gone wrong. You show up to my house at, at- I don't know! Fucking two am!"
Your eyes begin to tear up in shame, "I'm sorry."
"I love you! So fucking much! And you expect everything to be okay when I see you injured like this!"
"Jade, I'm sorry-"
"And what if," She pauses, taking a breath. "what if it had been worse?"
"But it wasn't Jade," You try to reassure her, but she shakes her head.
"I don't know what I would do without you," Jade whispers, and you reach up to grab her hand.
"I'm sorry. It was so stupid of me, I'm so sorry." You lock eyes with Jade, trying your best to show her how sorry you truly are.
"Oh," Jade cups your face as tears fall from her eyes. "I love you." She leans down, resting her forehead on yours lightly.
"I love you too," You whisper on her lips and she kisses you slowly. Her lips press into yours gently, and your eyes flutter shut.
She pulls away, much to your disapproval. "C'mere." She lays down on the floor, opening her arms for you.
Your chest swells happily, and you can't help the massive grin on your face. "What was that?"
"I'm not repeating myself."
"Okay, okay." You roll over onto Jade, happily accepting her embrace. You move your face onto her neck, she was your pillow now.
Jade wraps her arms around your waist, hugging you. She stops suddenly when she hears a small whimper of pain escape your lips.
"Did I hurt you?" Jade asks frantically, her arms hovering above your back.
"No," you grimace as your ribs pulsate with pain. "I'm fine."
Jade's hands drop to her sides.
"It's okay, you can touch me."
"I don't want to hurt you," Jade whispers, and you fear she is close to crying.
"You won't."
And soon her arms are wrapped around you again, lighter this time. She drapes the blanket over you, and since you're on top of Jade, it covers her as well.
"I'm not hurting you?" Jade asks, needing reassurance.
You laugh a little. "You're not."
Jade nods to herself, pressing a kiss to your hair.
You raise your head off of Jade’s chest, leaning up to her lips. She smiles slightly at the initiative.
"Kiss me." You whisper, and she chuckles.
"Never get into a fight with a stranger again?" She raises her eyebrow, and you stare at her in shock.
"How did you-" Jade cuts you off with a kiss, and you kiss her back, smiling into the kiss as she runs her thumb over your bruised cheek.
"Girlfriends always know."

The Morning After - Jade West x Fem!Reader
Prompt: You stay the morning after sleeping with Jade.
Knowing Jade, she could sleep through anything, so it wasn’t a surprise that she was still asleep.
You however, had woken a while ago.
Your eyes were currently stuck on a collection of jars that rested on a shelf in Jade’s room. You had been in her room before, where she introduced you to all of her abnormal knickknacks she kept on display, but you hadn't spent the night over before.
Dark and full of weird and odd things perfectly summed up the black haired girls room, and while none of it was your type, she was. Looking away from what looked to be like an appendix, you turned back to look at Jade, whose eyes were beginning to open.
You’re not sure if Jade would have wanted you to be here when she woke up, but by the looks of her shy smile she seemed to be pleased that you were still here.
“Hi,” she said, stretching her muscles a bit. She rolls over so that now she’s on her side, and facing you completely.
“Hey.”
“How long have you been up?” Jade asks, reaching forward to smooth a piece of your bedhead hair down.
“Just a little while,” you say. “I was admiring your jars.”
Jade hums, looking over at her jars fondly. “I got that one,” she pauses and points to the jar on the right, full of what looks like a yellowed mush, in a brine. “From an old trash can I found in LA.”
“The thing inside it or the jar?” You ask, slightly creeped out as you look up at Jade.
“The jar. I found the mouse skeleton buried in my backyard.”
“Oh Jade, gross!”
Jade laughs, smiling down at you. “What’s gross is Robbie’s appendix up there, right next to the cow brain.” She points to the jar you were staring at earlier.
“You really know how to charm a girl into staying the morning after,” you muttered, beginning to stand up. Jade laughs and tugs on your arm, pulling you back to the bed.
“My jars aren’t sexy?” Jade pulls you close to her, wrapping her arms around your waist. Her eyes are playful as she smiles with adoration.
“Are you asking me if I find Robbie’s appendix sexy?” You murmur, closing your eyes as you smile.
“Mhm,” Jade hums, laughing again. She leans forward to kiss your face. “Mmph- no, it isn’t-” you say as Jade kisses your cheeks and your lips. You laugh softly as her lips follow the path down your neck that they took last night, brushing over several marks.
Jade sighs softly as she admires the marks she left on your skin, lightly tracing them with the pads of her fingertips. “How was last night for you, hm?”
“What do you mean by that?” You ask, eyes still closed.
“Like- like was it good for you, I didn’t hurt you, did I?”
The concern is evident in Jade’s voice as her eyebrows crinkle with worry. “Of course not,” you mumble, wrapping your arms around Jade as you rest your head on her chest.
“Good,” Jade says softly. “Cause you know, you can tell me if it wasn’t good for you,” Jade says, smiling down. “Won’t affect my ego or anything.”
“We wouldn’t want that,” you laugh. “I promise, I loved it.”
Jade lifts your face gently, placing a loving kiss to your lips.
"Just one request," you say after Jade pulls back.
"Anything."
“Maybe without Robbie’s appendix in the room next time?”

Cowgirl - Jade West x Fem!Reader
Prompt: You help Jade bandage up the burn on her hand.
“Ouch.”
“Sorry,” you murmured, pulling Jade’s hand away from the water for a brief moment, just to put it back under.
“Ouch!” Jade yelps, gritting her teeth as she snatches her arm from your grip. “Stop that!”
“I know, I’m sorry baby, but this is what Google said to do!”
“Don’t baby me, you’re making it worse!” Jade cried, examining her hand up close. She hissed slightly, poking one of the blisters with her finger.
“Don’t touch,” you slapped her other hand away. “I know it hurts, but it could get infected, so please let me help you?”
Scowling, Jade let out an affirmative grunt as she stuck her hand back out to you. “Thank you. How did you even get this burn anyway?”
Jade sighs, her eyes following your hands as you take out antibiotic ointment from the red first aid beside you. “Method acting exercise.”
You unscrew the cap of a tube of Neosporin. “That’s it?”
“Method acting exercise…at Sikowitz’s house.”
“Gotcha.” Whenever Jade would talk about something weird or unusual from her day, usually that crazy man had something to do with it, so you weren’t surprised. You take Jade’s hand again, gently flattening out her fingers.
“This is gonna hurt a bit, okay?” Jade nods, taking a deep breath in as you begin to spread the Neosporin over the pink blisters. The pads of your pointer and middle finger coat over her scald, causing Jade to let out a slight whimper of pain.
“I know, I’m sorry,” you muttered, pulling your hand away. Wiping the excess ointment on a towel, you take time to admire the brunette in front of you, or rather, her outfit.
Jade looks up from her hand, noticing your amused stare. “What?”
“Nothing,” you smile, beginning to dig for a wrap in your kit. “You look very pretty.”
“Well, I know that,” Jade snaps, poking at her burn again. “What was the look for?”
“Your outfit,” you say simply, sitting back down in front of Jade. This was truly a rare moment, seeing Jade in a bright color instead of her usual “funeral attire,” (what Tori likes to call it). A bandana style crop top, along with a pair of very short jean shorts. And of course, a straw cowboy hat that still rested on top of her head.
“I told you not to speak of it!” Jade yells, and you put up your hands defensively.
“Okay, okay. I just think that you make a very cute cowgirl.” You say, gently tugging the top of her cowboy hat.
“As soon as you bandage me up I’m lighting these clothes on fire,” Jade growls, ripping off her hat. “I’ll cremate them and Tori can cry over her clothes’ ashes.”
“Whatever you say babe,” you murmur, beginning to bandage her hand.
Jade winces slightly as you wrap her hand in white gauze, wrapping a few layers over the burn and the other areas of exposed skin around it. “There.”
You rip a piece of medical tape and secure the bandage, smiling down at Jade’s now puffy and properly cleaned hand. “Suppose I should kiss it so it heals better, right?”
Jade glares, but sticks out her hand anyways. You kiss the palm of her hand lightly, finally causing a small smile to spread across Jade’s face. “Thank you,” she says, continuing to smile. Jade giggles slightly as she puts her cowboy hat on top of your head.
“You make a very pretty cowgirl too,” she says, leaning forward to kiss your lips. You pull on the string belt around the waist of her shorts, bringing her closer to you as you kiss her back.
Jade pulls away, smiling as she begins to smooth down the edges of the cowboy hat, fastening it to your head more.
“You wanna head over to Tori’s? Robbie texted me, he said they’re watching a funny movie.“

When She’s Mad At You - Jade West x Fem!Reader
- will most likely (but not always) be over being ‘too attractive’ as she likes to call it, since someone giving you their phone number has happened more than once.
- “Too attractive?” “I will not elaborate.”
- makes the extra effort to stomp her usual red boots on the ground, alerting you that she’s upset, especially if you haven’t noticed.
- straight up saying “I’m mad at you.” at the most random of times. “Jade, it’s 3am.” “Oh, so my feelings are invalid?”
- crosses her arms over her leather jacket, and pouts.
- scoots further away from you if you’re sitting next to each other.
- glares when you tell her that her pout is adorable, because it is.
- gives you the silent treatment.
- at first, you pretend you’re not bothered by her silence.
- 5 minutes later: “Talk to me, talk to me, talk to me.”
- pressing soft kisses to her face while she glares, something you know she adores. *kisses* “Talk to me.” *kisses* “Talk to me.” “NO!”
- doesn’t believe in the “don’t go to bed angry” rule. “Jade, come sleep by me.” “I like it on the floor.”
- while Jade does yell, she won’t go too hard on you. she loves you, even if she hasn’t said it. she loves you enough to hold a civil argument without completely blowing up. sometimes.
- tries to get outside opinions on your argument, especially Cat’s, making the poor redhead’s eyes cross as she tries to watch the argument properly.
- while she’s too stubborn for her own good, you have gotten her to fold a few times…“I’ll watch the scissoring with you?” “Forgiven.”
- there can be some benefits. something about those crazy eyes she makes while she’s yelling, the way her hands strain as she balls them into fists…is all very attractive.
- Jade does take the hint often, and her glare turns into a smirk seeing that you’ve lost focus and that your eyes staring at her mouth. her lips are on yours quickly, as she pins you against a wall, or the couch. “Argue later?” “Uh-huh.”
- though rare, she has been the first to apologize.
- wraps her arms around your neck or waist from behind. presses a kiss on your neck, as she hugs you. “I’m sorry.”
- barley audible, but she’ll say it.
- if you’re apologizing, you’ll make sure she knows how sorry you are, with many apology hugs and cuddles.
- ends with a soft kiss to your lips and a shy smile, especially if Jade knows she overreacted.
- “We’re good, right?” usually she’ll seek reassurance, something she’s developed from past relationships. and each time she does, you kiss her forehead sweetly. “Of course.”

hi, can you please write more jade west x r fluff? tysm youre my fav
Thank you so much! Here's an old n short story :) ❤️
Prompt: You and your girlfriend Jade watch a movie and cuddle.
It was a rainy night, occasional booms of thunder shook the house, followed by bolts of lighting. It wasn't that you were scared of storms and that you needed someone to hold you. But the overall idea of being held was delightful, and you were grateful that you did have someone.
For the past two months,  your thoughts had revolved around a certain black-haired beauty, wanting to be hers.
And here you were, finally hers. Sitting next to her on your couch, you both collectively shared a bowl of popcorn.
Jade was less than enthused that you had picked the movie, and she was honestly frightened with herself when she couldn't say no to how excited you seemed to show her The Lorax.
So here Jade was, arms crossed in their usual position, eyebrows furrowed as singing fish and bears flashed across the TV. If looks could kill, your TV would be dead. Jade's glare continued to deepen watching the singing animals.
You, however, was having a blast. A beautiful girlfriend next to you, and a movie you loved deeply in front of you. But you did crave for Jade's touch. It had only been two weeks since Jade had asked- well more like demanded you to be her girlfriend.
You had been on a few dates, hand-holding and kisses still felt so new and exciting. But you and Jade hadn't properly cuddled, minus that one live concert Andre had performed in front of the whole school. It was barely anything, Jade held you for a bit before quickly running off for "spaghetti tacos babe!!"
Now seemed like the perfect time, a heavy storm, a wholesome movie.
"What are you doing?" Jade asked softly, your head slumped up against her shoulder.
"Resting."
Jade's shoulder was tense, she glanced down at you momentarily admiring your features. She shrugged and muttered a quiet, "okay."
"Okay, now, what are you doing?!" Jade yelps, a familiar feeling of butterflies filling her stomach, something she only gets from you. Your arms wrapped around her waist, resting your face in her neck. Her arms were hovering in the air, unsure what to do with them.
"What does it look like?" You laughed at her shock, pressing a kiss into her neck. "I'm cuddling you!"
"Cuddling?" Jade tries to wriggle out of your grasp. You laugh as she pushes you off, and you lay back on the couch, already missing her warmth. "I don't like cuddling," she glares, folding her arms over her chest once she's shaken you off.
You give her an 'are you sure?' look and her eyes widen in anger.
"I don't!" She snaps, focusing her attention back on The Lorax.
You raise your eyebrows in amusement, muttering a soft "sure" under your breath, earning a glare from Jade.
"You're blushing," you remark, gesturing to your face. Jade quickly covers her face with both hands.
"No, I'm not," She says confidently. "I do not blush."
"Is that so?" You hummed.
"Blushing is gross. And sappy. So I don't do it."
"Tell that to your tomato cheeks," you giggle and Jade looks away in shame, her face heating up even more.
Turning back to the TV, Jade clears her throat. "So what if I am?" Her chin is in the air, avoiding all eye contact with you in fear of turning red again.
"Well," you take Jade's hand and she tried to look at you with confidence, but you notice a bit of shyness in her eyes. "That would mean you liked my cuddling."
Jade swallows, a hint of a smile in her sulk. "Maybe I did."
You smile sweetly at her, what a softie.
It takes practically 0.2 seconds until your arms are wrapped around her again. Jade's heart swells at the sight beneath her, those blue eyes you fell for the second you met her were practically hearts now. Butterflies explode inside her again as you nestle your face in her neck, the tip of your nose brushing along her collarbone.
Jade was unsure what to do, she had never been held so lovingly before. She hesitantly placed her hands on your hips, feeling your lips curve into a smile against her neck. Her arms wrap around your back, gently hugging you. Cuddling was nice, she couldn't deny it.
"This is nice," you hummed, your eyes hooded over as you took in all of Jade's warmth.
"It is," Jade murmurs, allowing herself to be soft with you for a quick moment.
"But if you tell anyone about this," Jade begins to threaten, and you sigh playfully, scary Jade was back.
"I'm dead, I know, blah blah." You grin, too happy to care that you couldn't blab about this to anyone.
Jade leans her head down and presses a lazy kiss to your lips, and your eyes flutter shut. She continues to kiss you slowly, and you succumb underneath her as she holds your face with her hand.
Your eyes open and you admire the pretty face above you. "Softie," you whisper and Jade gasps in terror.
"I am not!" She glowers, clearly offended. You pull on her leather jacket, capturing her soft lips again. She kisses back, pulling away when you let go of her jacket. Jade's eyes sparkle as her mouth hovers over your lips, pressing a quick kiss to your cheek.
"Such a softie!" You exclaim and Jade huffs, pulling you back onto her chest, re-initiating your cuddle session.
"Only for you."

I Love Her - Jade West x Fem!Reader
Prompt: You and Jade broke up, but you’re unaware Jade wants you back.
Cat smiled as Jade opened the door, excited to see her friend. “So I was thinking we could-”
“Get in.” Jade snaps, pulling the redhead inside.
“Jeez! What’s got you in a huffy-jiff?”
“A huffy-jiff?” Jade repeated, confused. Cat giggled quietly.
“It’s my new word!” The redhead exclaims brightly, her eyes lighting up as she begins to drone on and on about how she created it. Normally Jade would zone out and occasionally nod during one of her stories, but she didn’t have the time today.
“Not now!” Jade interrupted, slamming the door. Cat let out a squeal, covering her face with her hands. “I need your help,” Jade said, desperately.
“Huffy-jiff,” Cat mutters under her breath.
“Cat!” Jade screams, causing the frightened girl to yelp again. “Okay okay! What’s got you all in a huffy-jiff?”
Jade sighs, shaking her head. “It’s Y/n.”
Cat narrows her eyes at the mention of your name. “What about Y/n? I don’t know anything about Y/n. Our Y/n?”
It was the classic “girl says I love you to a girl, but the other girl gets scared” kind of story.
You were so in love with the black haired beauty, and you thought she’d want to hear it while in your arms as the both of you lay underneath the night sky.
Turns out not so much.
Jade dismisses Cat’s weird behavior. “Yes, our Y/n. My Y/n…I want her back.”
Cat’s brown eyes widened, and she let out a gasp. “But she’s-” Cat stops herself, covering her mouth. “Phooey,” she whispers under her breath.
“But she’s what?!” Jade cries.
“Nothing!” Cat yells, her fists bunching on the pale pink dress she’s wearing.
“Tell me Cat, right now, or I will stab my finest pair of scissors through your brain and fill the hole with bush peas.” Jade’s voice drops an octave as she walks closer to Cat.
Cat gulps, looking up at Jade nervously. “She’s on a date with Tori…”
* * *
“This is nice.”
You look up at the brunette in front of you, who laces your hand with hers. You give her a smile, hoping it looked convincing.
It must’ve looked convincing because Tori blushes, giving your hand a gentle squeeze. “I’m so glad you said yes to tonight. I love hanging out with you, Y/n.”
“Me too, Tori.”
It had been three months since Jade left you, and Tori had been asking you out for the past two weeks.
You hoped whatever this was with Tori would help you move on from Jade, though it truly seemed like an impossible task. As stupid and cliché as it sounds, you truly thought you and Jade would be together forever.
Maybe that was just wishful thinking. You had a tendency to romanticize, and you sure did romanticize your endgame with Jade. But then she humiliated you that night in the park.
“I’m in love with you.”
You had instantly regretted your words once you saw the way Jade’s eyes widened. Some words were said, but ultimately none of them mattered. You didn’t need her to say it back, but she didn’t even want to talk this out.
“I’m sorry, I have to go.”
And then she left you, standing alone in the dark.
Which leads you to where you are now, somewhere you never thought you’d be. Broken up with Jade and on a date with Tori.
“Where are they?!” Jade yells, now frantic. Cat knew how crazy Jade could get…correction, everyone knew how crazy Jade could get when she was jealous. You were the only person who was able to calm her down, whispering into her ear that you were hers while pressing light kisses to her face.
But now you were gone, and on a date with Jade’s enemy. Jade paced nervously around her house, listing every possible scenario that could be happening while you were with Tori.
“Probably falling in love, getting engaged, getting married…”
“Ooh! Can I be the flower girl?”
“Cat!” Jade screamed. “Don’t make me pull out the bush peas!”
Cat squealed, hiding her face in her hands.
“Tell me where they are. Right now.” Cat looked up at Jade, slowly pulling her hands away from her face. “Tori said not to tell you,” she said softly.
“I don’t care what Tori says! She stole my girlfriend!”
“Ex-girlfriend,” Cat says slowly, nervously watching Jade. Jade sighs, closing her eyes for a second as to not strangle the smaller girl with her bare hands.
“Cat please, this is so important to me.” Jade pleads, looking at Cat. Cat sighs, grimacing. “I know! I know! But Tori said…”
“I love her,” Jade says quickly. Cat’s brown eyes go wide, and she tilts her head. Jade didn’t say the L word often, or really, ever. “I want her back because I love her. And I need to go tell her before…” Jade trails off.
“Before she moves on and replaces you with Tori?”
Jade glares at Cat. “Should’ve asked Andre to help.” Jade clears her throat, putting on a fake smile. “Yes, Cat. Before she does that.”
“Well then what are we waiting for?” Cat cries, clapping her hands. “Let’s go!”
* * *
“And I’ll have the salad.” You smiled at the waiter, handing him your menu. Tori frowns, rubbing your arm.
“Are you sure? It’s my treat, you should get the special.”
“I’m not that hungry at the moment,” you say. “But thank you.” You give her a soft smile, and try to calm yourself with the cold cup of ice water in front of you. You suck on the ice, relaxing at the cold sensation.
Tori looks concerned, her grip on your arm tightens a bit. You were shifting uncomfortably in your seat, tugging on the collar of your button-down that seemed to be suffocating you. “Are you okay?”
No. “I’m fine! Just a bit nervous, that’s all.”
You hate lying to your friend, but what were you supposed to say? That you wished you were home? As much as you didn’t want to be here, you couldn’t disappoint Tori tonight. Not after she’s helped you so much during your breakup with Jade.
The brunette had been here for you the moment Jade left you. You cried on her shoulder and vented to her every time Jade ignored you in school after the night in the park. She actually cared, so you owed her this date.
Even if you didn’t feel the same way. But maybe you could.
“No need to be nervous,” Tori smiles, beginning to talk about her upcoming performance. You smile and begin to ease your nerves, leaning back in your chair. This wasn’t so bad. Maybe this is just what you needed.

“Well? What are you waiting for?”
Jade stood outside of the restaurant. She had come to see you with so much confidence, head high, black boots walking proudly on the ground. But it was all gone now, with the way she saw you smiling at Tori.
“She used to look at me that way,” Jade murmurs quietly, more to herself than Cat. The redhead looks at her friend sympathetically because all she can see is regret on Jade’s face. “I’m sure she’ll want you back…” Cat tries to help, but Jade doesn’t break her focus from the window. Tori’s hand was on your arm, holding you reassuringly. A loving gaze was fixated on Tori, your head tilting back in laughter of something she had just said.
It was almost too painful of a sight.
“I really messed up,” Jade whispers.
“But- but you can fix it, I know you can!” Cat says softly, giving Jade a gentle push towards the door. “No, I can’t.” Jade looks away from the window, voice wavering. Cat shakes her head, determined to help her friend. She hated seeing her friends sad, especially Jade who was always put together.
“Tori makes her happy,” Jade lets out a sharp breath, pushing away the tears that threaten to gloss over her eyes. “Let's go.”
“But-”
“Let’s go.” Jade gives a quick glance towards you, freezing when she sees you’re already staring at her.
“What is it?” Tori frowns, putting a piece of chicken into her mouth. Your eyes have been locked on the window for about a minute now, and it wasn’t just because it had started to rain.
“It’s nothing,” you start, but Tori turns around, seeing Jade and Cat outside, standing in the rain.
“Oh.” Tori says, setting her fork down.
You hold eye contact with Jade. Even from far away you can see her sadness as her eyes are widened at the sight of you and Tori. Next to Jade you see Cat, shivering in the cold. She grimaces apologetically, and then says something to Jade you can’t make out.
“Go to her.”
Jade shakes her head, dismissing whatever Cat had said. Cat sighs, wiping the rain from her eyes as Jade walks away quickly, unbothered by the storm. The redhead follows her, clumsily running out of view.
“They must’ve gotten lost, or something,” you muttered, downing a sip of your ice water. You turn your attention back to Tori. “You know how Cat has always been bad with directions,” you say, forcing a slight laugh.
Tori smiles, twirling her pasta on her fork. “And Jade?”
“...Must’ve just been hanging out with her,” you shrug. You honestly didn’t know what they were doing out there, in a rainstorm. But by the way Jade had looked at you, it was like how she’d always looked at you, yet there was something new. Something you have and will always feel towards her.
Love.
Maybe she loved you.
And that was enough. More than enough to at least try to save whatever you had with Jade.
You had always been better at expressing your feelings than Jade, which is why she found you on her doorstep, just three hours later.
"Hey," you greeted, giving her a small wave. You had no idea what you were going to say, but Jade cut you off before you could even start. "So you and Cat-"
"I love you."
Your lips parted in surprise. "You don't have to-"
Jade cuts you off again, "I love you, so much. I got scared," she pauses, looking down at her fiddling hands. "That night in the park..."
"I shouldn't have said anything," you say, but Jade shook her head.
"Y/n, I loved you then too," Jade whispers shyly. "I always have."
She shrugs, smiling sadly. "I always seem to hurt the ones I love... and I am so sorry. And I know you're with Tori now...I just needed to tell you, before-"
Jade stops as you step towards her, gently taking her hands. "What are you doing?" She whispers, watching you intently.
"I'm holding your hands, silly," you say, giving her hands a gentle squeeze. Jade's face tints pink as she stares into your eyes. She's missed having you this close. It had been three months, after all. "But you're with Tori, we shouldn't..."
"I left." You smile at Jade, her eyes filling with hope. "She understands."
A newfound hope swells in Jade's chest, and her heart pounds even more than it already has ever since you've gotten closer. "You're not with Tori?" Jade only asks because she wants to hear it again, as if it was too good to be true.
"I'm not with Tori," you let out a breathy laugh.
Jade smirks, satisfied at your words as she leans forward. "So what're you going to do about it?"
You stare into her eyes for a single moment, her blue beauties flashing with challenge. You lean in as her eyes close, cupping her face with your hand as you bring her lips to yours. Her lips press against yours quickly, as her arm loops around your neck.
"Missed you so much," Jade breathes against your lips, now kissing her favorite parts of your face. Your cheeks, your jaw, and your neck. Her lips kiss you softly, and she pins you against the front door of her house as you continue to make out.
"I missed you too."

Bad Dreams - Taylor Swift x Fem!Reader
Prompt: You have a bad dream and you want Taylor to hold you.
1:12 am
1:13 am
1:14 am
You watched the minutes flicker by, the red light on your alarm clock projected a small amount of light in your dark room. Soft breaths were heard from behind you, your girlfriend was still sound asleep despite you jolting awake in her arms a few minutes ago.
Your nightmare wasn’t horrible, but it’s left you with the feeling of being empty and unloved. You wished you hadn’t pushed Taylor off of you when you first woke up, because now you wanted her arms around you again. The feeling of her embrace would be enough to calm your nerves.
You felt around for her arms, padding the soft mattress until you felt her skin, her arm still draped where you had put it. Your touch made her stir, and she woke up with a sharp breath, sighing loudly. Taylor’s eyes fluttered open, expecting it to be morning but to her surprise, everything was still dark.
Her eyes closed back again, the feeling of needing sleep pulled her back into a daze. She nestled her face back into her pillow, freezing when she heard a sniffle next to her. She squinted her eyes, trying to tell if you were awake or not. Taylor fully woke up when she heard the sound again, followed by a tiny sob. “Y/n?” she whispered, resting her hand on your shoulder. “Go back to sleep, sorry for waking you,” you whispered, wiping a few tears from your eyes.
Taylor propped herself up on her elbow. “Why are you crying?”
“I had a bad dream,” you say, sighing. “Oh,” Taylor coos, rubbing your shoulder softly. “Wanna talk about it?” she yawns, and you shake your head.
“No,” you whisper, and Taylor ponders what else she can do to help, feeling helpless. “Can I hold you then?” Taylor’s fingertips trailed along your skin, making you smile. “Please,” you say, feeling a bit desperate to feel loved by her.
Taylor could sense how much you wanted to be held due to the way your arms quickly wrapped around her waist when she pulled you into her. Her fingers ran through your hair, calming you instantly. You held her tight, burying your face in her neck. “Babe,” Taylor says sadly, wiping a few tears from your cheeks. “I’m right here, I’m not leaving,” she promises, kissing your jawline softly. Her lips plant sweet kisses on your face.
“Dream you said something different,” you say, making Taylor smile. “Dream me is an idiot,” she says cupping your face. You can’t see her face in the dark, but her hands are firm and strong, holding you with care. Her voice is confident and truthful when she whispers over and over how much she loves you.
“Now, fall asleep baby, lay your head down,” she says, and your eyes begin to droop when Taylor drapes a blanket over both of your bodies. She kisses your forehead once and tells you she loves you again. “Love you too, Tay,” you mumble. “So much.”
She kisses your cheek again. “I know.”
