momo headcanons: school edition📚
reads the syllabus as soon as it’s released and writes everything in her planner
also the type to start studying for an exam a month in advance
definitely not the type to cram — she makes sure that she starts early and finishes early
could have a studyblr — loves taking aesthetic notes, perfect handwriting
handwriting is medium sized, slightly loopy (loops g’s, y’s)
we already know she’s an amazing tutor and her notes are perfect (easy to understand!)
extremely patient with people — she’s the type of person to be like I’m not moving on until you get this
everyone wants to be in her study group
she’s not the type to completely take over the whole group though for projects — does her best to help everyone contribute and make sure all ideas are heard
probably records lectures tbh
reviews her notes / lectures a lottt — she knows a lot of people come to her for help, so she wants to make sure she fully understands it
a bit of a workaholic, but she loves reading fun books in her free time
super respectful towards teachers — not afraid to ask questions or go to office hours, so she often gets to know them pretty well
she has to know chemistry for her quirk, and I could see her going into research and such

random thought of the day: tendo is a pretzel man. as in I can see him being oddly flexible and loving to sit in really awkward positions that make everyone so confused like how is that comfortable. he also can’t sit normally like it’s physically impossible

There’s one scene in season 3 that always gets me - not because of the scene itself but because of the implications. Earlier in the episode we get this scene:
[“Or rather, Tendo’s sort of scary. You never know what he’s thinking.”]
And we know that Tendou took the message to heart. Years later, he talks to Ushijima (about Hinata) and mentions that “things you can’t understand are scary”.
Ushijima’s defensive reaction seems comical at first but when Tendou expands on it, we get this exchange:
[“They’re not scary.” - “No, I mean, they’re sort of creepy. If anything, the feeling of something being slightly creepy must be a new feeling for you, huh?”]
The implications!! They kill me every time!
Ushijima was never put off by Tendou, he never thought of him as ‘scary’ or ‘slightly creepy’. It’s not surprising that Tendou considered him his best friend. Ushijima had accepted him for who he was from the very beginning. Now every time I think about Tendou in Washijou’s office talking about how he just wants to play the volleyball that makes him happy I keep thinking about how he got so much more than he hoped for. He had resigned himself to, at most, get to play the sport he liked - instead he got to do that and got to meet people who didn’t judge him. Friends for a lifetime.
