Tratak Kriya 
In this action, one has to focus on that object by looking at one thing. By performing this action, the person develops awareness capacity, and awakening of the sense of power. It can be practiced by sitting in any meditative posture, such as Padmasana, Vajrasana, Sukhasana etc. According to Yogasastra, looking at a subtle object, without blinking your eyes, till the water comes out of your eyes is called "Trataka method". Continuous practice of trataka method also helps in Kundalini awakening, and it is more beneficial to practice it in a calm and pleasant environment.

Urdhava Padmasana
