The fact that this level of craftsmanship. This level of Detail was possible over 300 years ago, and we can somehow claim we are now superior in technology and art. Baffles me.

Random writing thought: the best stories are often the ones that only you could have written — but also the ones that you could only write at this one moment.

I couldn't write All the Birds in the Sky from scratch now if I tried. But the me of 2013 couldn't have written The Prodigal Mother either.

i want history museums i want art galleries i want forests i want long car drive i want book stores i want star gazing i want to feel.

I don’t know how to explain to her that my Soul is tired. It’s not for lack of love.

It’s not because she isn’t enough. It’s just because I’ve been the sunlight for far too long. but never allowed to set for a moment, just to rest myself.

I’ve spent this year keeping everyone else from wandering in their own darkness. While neglecting mine. I have penance to pay for that.

I need time to recollect my soul and refill my heart. I cannot give anymore love until I remember how to love myself happy. Remember how to laugh all on my own because I want to. Not because the sound reminds someone else they are still alive.

But because it reminds me, that I, still want to be alive.

It’s not that I don’t love you. Because I do. It’s not that I don’t want you here.

It’s that this is time for me to remember that I love myself. To become the Moon for a while. Listen to the silence between days.

And remember all the stories that inspired me to become light in the first place.

Sometimes. It is okay, to just be a reflection. Sometimes it is what we all need.

Otherwise we are just a Star, burning away at ourselves. Too fast. So that no one notices.

We are too aware, we are dying faster than we can capture our dreams.

Because we spend so much time making sure no one else feels the sadness seeping in.

So I guess this is a midnight love confession.

Happiness wrapped in starlight.

A future I can see echoing back clear as the moonlight on a cloudless dusk.

I see forever with her strong spirit.

I hear laughter in my tomorrows.

I feel joy in my heart everytime she ask me for a kiss.

Yes, of course there are still times to learn from.

Lessons we have not yet grown through.

And gauntlets we have yet to run.

But you cannot succeed if at first you do not fail.

You cannot win if you don’t first accept the challenge.

And I see a partner in her that refuses to lose.

Because you only lose when you refuse to get back up. When you stay down after failure finds you in taunt.

But I want this with her.

I want to make a happily ever after with her that will be written in history as the blueprint.

She is the blueprint from my dreams.

And I will spend a lifetime mapping out all the best parts of her that I am growing to love.
