I first found girl in red back in 2018 when she released the song Girls, and I listened to her for a while and watched her get really popular which was so fun. But then she did this interview talking about how she doesn't consider herself a lesbian and how she doesn't like the word, and honestly it hurt me. I couldn't listen to her music without thinking of that, so I just. stopped.

So you can imagine how nice it was seeing a tiktok of her today talking about Chappell Roan, and the caption said "proud lesbian"
