Hi there! It's been a while since I requested because I have been busy with exams and i am completely burnt out and emotionally drained. So i was hoping you could write something for me.
This is how my parents met and i was thinking you could write it based on any bat boy or all 3 if u like. So reader walks in with reports or their a party. And someone removes her hair pin and her hair fall and it's all long beautiful and silky. And literally the whole party stops.
Thank you and have an amazing day! ❤
Hopefully now you get a chance to recharge your emotional battery and destress. Thank you for your request, it was fun to write something outside of my recent angsty mood. I hope you enjoy it.
Let Your Hair Down Poly Batboys x Female Reader
You began working for Rhysand as a secretary of sorts. He was always polite but never gave you a second glance, same with Cassian and Azriel when you did work for them. "You're coming to starfall this year, right?" Mor interrupts your thoughts. "You know I don't do crowds and parties." You tell her. "Come on, you can spend the evening with me. I'll save you from socializing." She teases.
"I don't have anything to wear, and it's tomorrow night." You say as a last ditch effort excuse. "I'll take care of that." She states cheerfully. "Alright, just this once." You relent. "If you'll excuse me, Rhys is expecting these." You say, indicating to the files on your desk. "I'll see you tomorrow night. I'll pick you up after work." She says before carrying on her way.
You gather the files on your desk before making your way towards Rhys's office. You knock on his door before he tells you to enter. He's entertaining a gorgeous woman who you've not seen before. "I'll see you tomorrow night." She tells him before taking her leave. "I have the reports you wanted." You tell him as you hand them over. "Thank you." He says without a second thought. "If you don't need anything else, I'll head home." You tell him. "That's fine. I'll see you tomorrow." He says as Azriel and Cassian walk in. "Have a good night." They tell you before turning their attention to Rhys.
On your way home, you deal with the anxiety that tomorrow night is already giving you. You keep trying to think of the positive things about tomorrow night, but you can only focus on the three unattainable Illyrian's you work with. You cook yourself dinner before relaxing with your book for the night.
The next day makes you anxious and on edge as your brain overthinks everything. You manage to retrieve the three suits for the guys and leave them in their offices. "Mor said you were coming tonight." Cassian says as you hang his suit on the back of his door. "Yeah, she talked me into it." You say nervously. "It's a lot of fun. Hopefully I'll see you there." He says, giving you a soft smile. You know he is just being nice, but you can't help the warmth that spreads throughout you.
You make it through the rest of the day, and before you know it, Mor is taking you to the house of wind. "Come on, you can get ready in my room." She says excitedly. "You're going to look so good." She says as she pulls a garmet bag from her closet for you. She unzips the bag and pulls out a stunning silver beaded dress. "Mor! It's gorgeous, but don't you think it's a little overkill for me?" You ask. "You'll be stunning in it. Just try it on." She says encouragingly.
After you change, you admire yourself in the mirror. You always thought yourself kind of plain, but in this, you looked exquisite. "Now for hair and makeup!" Mor says as she pulls you to the vanity. She expertly curls and pins your lush long hair to perfection, like your mother used to when you were little. With one final look in the mirror, she walks with you to join the party. True to her word, she stays with you, saving you from being the awkward girl in the corner.
You scan the crowd and find Rhys with his date talking to Cassian and Azriel. The three of them look amazing in their suits. Your eyes linger longer than they should before Mor pulls you back to reality, "Are you alright?" She asks with a knowing smile. "Yeah, I could just use a drink." You answer. Before making your way towards the bar. You order a drink and drink it quicker than you should. After returning the empty glass, you join Mor again.
"Come on, let's dance." She says as she drags you to the dance floor. Your drink gives you enough courage to go for it. The two of you start dancing and having fun. You can't help but smile as you let loose for once. As you're dancing with Mor, you don't notice the shadow that's found its way to you. It playfully works its way up your body to the pin holding your hair up. Suddenlyba gentle tug jas your curls cascading down. Even curled your hair is longer than most.
Sudden, it seems like all eyes are on you, including the ones you've been wishing, which would notice you. It's all so overwhelming in the moment as they admire your long, lush hair that perfectly frames your beautiful face. "I'll be back, I need the powder room." You tell more as you make your escape. The party seems to resume in your absence as you quickly make your way inside to regain your composure.
Meanwhile, Cassian, Azriel, and Rhys all stand momentarily stunned as a golden cord snaps between them and you. Rhys's date tries to regain his attention, but he dismisses her without hesitation. He tells her it's best if she finds someone else to spend starfall with. Once she is gone, they each blurt out that you're their mate. "What do you mean yours? She's mine." They argue amongst themselves for a few minutes. "Let's let her settle this." Rhys says as he starts towards the house, his brothers following behind.
You finish regaining your composure and sit in one of the chairs in the living room for a few minutes. Soon, the guys are walking in, causing you to stand up quickly, "sorry, I didn't mean to intrude. I just needed a moment." You apologize, afraid you overstepped a boundary. "Not at all. Please make yourself comfortable." Rhys says. "I wanted to apologize for my shadows behavior, sometimes they have a mind of their own and forget their manners." Azriel says. "No harm done. I didn't even notice it at first." You respond with a soft smile.
"I'm sorry to have pulled you away from your date." You tell Rhys. "I'm not." He says with a feline grin, catching you off guard a bit. "I think I should rejoin Mor, if you'll excuse me." You say as you start to walk towards the door. "Y/n, wait. Please." Cassian says as he gently grabs your hand to stop you. "There's something we'd like to talk to you about." He continues. You look between them, "ok." You say cautiously before taking a seat. "Don't worry, it's nothing bad, we promise." Azriel says.
"There's no point in trying to toe around it, so I'm just going to say it. Outside something happened that will change everything if you accept it. The mating bond snapped for me." Rhys says, deciding to lay it all out for you. "And me." Azriel says. "And me as well." Cassian adds. "This isn't funny! What kind of a joke are you playing at?!" You say angrily before you feel the pull and snap of the bonds. Each string leading to one of them. Your body stills, and your eyes go wide. "It's no joke, darling." Rhys says knowing what just happened for you.
"All three of you? But how?" You ask, shocked. "Yes, all three of us." Azriel says softly. "I won't choose between you. I won't be the one to ruin your brotherhood." You say adamantly. "We're not asking you to choose. We don't want to deny each other their true mate. We are willing to share." Rhys says. "How would that work?" You ask. "However, we're comfortable. We've shared in the past, and it's been an enjoyable experience." Cassian answers. "There's no right or wrong. We just have to figure out what's best for all of us." Azriel says.
"We barely know each other." You say. "Spend the rest of the evening with us. We can get to know each other." Cassian says. "What about Mor and Rhys's date?" You question. "I already took care of my date situation. As for Mor, you can tell her the truth, or you can feign not feeling well." Rhys answers. "I can't lie to her." You say surprised he would suggest it. "Alright, so we tell her the truth." Azriel says. "Or we just wait for her to come looking for you." Cassian says with a teasing smile.
"I don't want you to miss the party, though." You say, knowing it's their tradition. "You're more beautiful than any starfall." Azriel says as one of  his shadows lets down your hair again. "You can't help but laugh at its antics while you feel the warmth from the bond fill you. "You should wear your hair down more." Rhys says as he admires you. "Come on, beautiful." Cassian says as he stands and offers you his hand. "Where are we going?" You ask. "A private balcony where you can still see starfall as we get to know each other." Azriel says as he and Rhys follow you and Cassian out.
Once you're on the balcony, you can't help but admire the view as the sounds of the party are distant. "This view is stunning." You say as you overlook Velaris. "Not as stunning as you." Cassian compliments. Rhys hands you a glass of wine as they join you. "What do you think everyone will say when they find out about us?" You ask. "It doesn't matter as long as we're happy." Azriel says. "I still don't know how this will work." You say. "We'll figure it out along the way. Just do what feels natural." Rhys says as he tucks a strand of hair behind your ear.

Let Her Go Poly Bat Boys x Female Reader
Warnings: pure angst with no happiness, language, little bit of suggestiveness
You knew you had messed up, but you were beyond the point of caring. For months, you have put up with the whispers of your relationship with your 3 mates. You were fed up with being smiled at by various fae only to have them call you a whore the second they thought you couldn't hear them. You had tolerated it for the sake of your mates and for your court. Tonight was the breaking point for your patience as you heard the ear grating voice of Tamlin's mate.
You couldn't help but hear her opening commenting on your relationship. Her comments had you seeing red before she openly called you a whore. Before you could realize what you were doing you grabbed her by the hair and slammed her face into the table. "How dare you disrespect my relationships! You have no room to talk on things you know nothing about. Not that your opinion matters, you're just a hole for Tamlin's cock!" You manage to shout before Cassian pulls you away from her and starts flying you home.
Upon entering the house, Cassian informs you that Rhys is doing damage control, and then him and Azriel will be home. You roll your eyes as your anger simmers just beneath your skin. "Of course he is." You mutter under your breath. "Do you have something you wish to say?" Cassian asks. You don't miss the warning in his tone. "No." You answer before turning to change. After taking a step towards the bedroom, you decide enough is enough. You turn back to Cassian, "Actually, I do have something to say, but I'll wait for Rhysand and Azriel. That way, I don't have to repeat myself."
You storm off towards the bedroom and change into sleep pants and a shirt. Leaving your dress on the floor, not caring if it gets wrinkled. You rejoin Cassian in the living room. Neither of you is talking as you wait for the others. How much ass kissing does he have to do, you think to yourself as you grow impatient. You sit in the chair with your arms crossed, staring at the clock as you watch the minutes pass. Moments later, Rhys walks in, followed by Azriel.
Rhys pours himself a drink while Azriel joins Cassian on the couch. "Go to bed, we'll discuss this in the morning." Rhys says, not bothering to look at you. "No! We're going to discuss this now because this is long overdue." You say as you stand up. Rhys turns towards you, "Go. To. Bed." He says. You notice the tension in his body and how stormy his eyes are. "No. If you don't want to talk, then fine, but you'll listen." You say, growing more angry at his dismissal of you.
"I have had it with pretending not to hear the vile comments about the four of us being mates. I have tolerated it long enough, but not anymore. I know I'm not the only one who hears what they whisper when they think we can't hear them or when they think we're too busy with other conversations." You state, hoping for some sort of acknowledgment from one of your mates. "Do you even realize what your little outburst could've costed us?! We could've lost valuable allies tonight! Every mission and meeting that we've had with other courts could've been wasted because of a few whispers!" Rhys says as his grip tightens on his glass.
You stand in stunned silence at his words. You can't believe he'd invalidate your feelings, but he just did. In a moment, everything changes, and he seems none the wiser. Cassian and Azriel notice the change in your mood and share concerned looks. You take off your shirt and pants, leaving you in your bra and panties. You cross over to Rhys and kneel in front of him. "What are you doing?!" He asks. "Just taking my place as your whore, isn't this what you wanted?" You say in a calm tone, even though you're anything but.
"You're being ridiculous. This isn't the time for your games." Rhys says before watching you crawl to Cassian and Azriel, kneeling between them. "Well, if my High Lord is tired of me, maybe it's time the lord of bloodshed gets a reward or maybe the great spymaster. Whoever you feel deserves a little treat for doing such a good job lately." You practically purr. "Stop! You don't get to cheapen our relationship!" Rhys shouts. You quickly stand. "If only I were the one who cheapened it. You did that the moment you disregarded my feelings and confirmed it was okay for others to say whatever they want as long as it helps build alliances. I never once felt ashamed about our relationship until now, until you made me feel like a whore. I hope it was worth it." You say before picking up your clothes and walking out of the room.
You heard Rhys's glass break against the wall before you locked the door to the guest room. You could hear the three of them arguing, but it didn't matter now. The damage was already done. You couldn't even bring yourself to cry, let alone feel anything but numb. After a while, the house grew quiet, and you assumed they'd gone to bed. The fact that none of them had tried to comfort you or talk to you only added to the sting of tonight's events and realizations. You knew you wouldn't be able to sleep, so you tried to read. It became obvious you couldn't focus after reading the same page for the fifth time, unable to remember any of it.
Sitting at your desk, you pull out a pen and paper. You decide to write a note to your mates:
Azriel, Cassian, and Rhys;
If you're reading this then I have left. It wasn't an easy decision but a necessary one. These last few months have taken more of a toll on me than I had realized. Our relationship has turned from something beautiful and special into something ugly and spiteful.
Azriel, you taught me so much about myself and I am grateful for that. You're love is deeper than the seas and full of wonder. I'm glad I was one of the few who got to swim in its depths.
Cassian, you made me stronger both physically and mentally. You love with a passion that rivals any other. I am grateful you saw the potential in me and helped me become a better version of myself
Rhys, you believed in me when I didn't believe in myself. You allowed me to make mistakes and never judged me or criticized me for it, until now.
I love you all but in your own ways you've destroyed what we had built and I sat idly by and allowed it to happen. Take care of each other like you always have.
You let out a frustrated sigh as you grab a blanket and step out onto the balcony. You curl on one of the loungers before covering up with the blanket. "Can't sleep?" Azriel asks from the shadows, causing you to jump. "What do you want?" You question after composing yourself. "To check on you." He says, stepping out of the shadows and leaning against the railing. "You've checked on me, now leave." You say annoyed. "I wanted to apologize for not defending you against the rumors and gossip." He says softly. "Apology not accepted." You respond coldly.
"I know I've let you down and hurt you and have no right to ask anything from you, but please don't leave us. I'm asking you to give us a chance to fix this." He says, his eyes pleading with you. "You're right. You have no right to ask anything of me. You've had countless times to step up and fix this, but instead, you let it reach this point. You've all let this fester into something so deeply wrong in my mind that I'm not sure it will ever heal. Rhys's words tonight spoke louder than any actions you could hope to have repaired this. He very well might have placed the final nail in the coffin." You say solomnly.
"Don't say that, love. There has to be a way for us to fix this or at least me to fix this." Azriel pleads, though his words don't reach your heart. "Good night, Azriel," is all you say before retreating inside. Azriel stands on your balcony, his heart breaking as he feels you shield the bond. Once inside, you sit back down in bed. Burying your face in your hands as you relive the last 8 hours. With determination, you place the note on your nightstand and pull out your suitcase, and start packing the basics. Numbly grabbing your simple clothes, leaving the various dresses they had bought you along with your training leathers. A series of heavy knocks interrupts you. "Go away." You call through the door.
"Please, let me in." Cassian says, his voice strained with emotions. "I want to be alone." You say. "You don't mean that." He says as he tries the door handle. "I do." You answer as you close your suitcase. Surprisingly, there's no reply from Cassian. Moments later, you learn why. He walks in from your balcony. "Seriously?!" You ask with annoyance. "You left me no choice," he says. "You could've respected my wishes." You reply. His eyes land on your suitcase, "No, you're not leaving!" He says, his voice full of panic. "Cassian," you start to say, but he cuts you off. "You're not leaving! I need to fix this with you!" He says as he opens your suitcase and starts unpacking.
You repack whatever he takes out, creating an endless cycle. "Please," he says as tears line his eyes. "I need you. I need to come home to you after long missions, I need you to keep me grounded and remind me I'm more than my job. I need you to be here and let me love you." He says as his emotions spiral. "Cassian, I need you to let me go." You say softly, watching his heart break in front of you. "No! I can't lose you, I will do whatever you ask, just stay, please." He says as he drops to his knees in front of you and holds your waist. "Cassian, let her go." This time, it's Rhys saying it from the balcony archway.
"No! We need to fix this!" Cassian says. "If she wants to go, then let her go." Rhys orders. You grab your suitcase as Cassian reluctantly releases his hold on you. They watch in silence as you unlock your bedroon door and walk out. You only hesitate for a split second at the front door. You take one last look as the fond memories with your mates replay. You step outside and pull the door shut on your past before taking the first step towards your new life.

Forgiven Poly Azriel/Cassian x Female Reader
Warning: Angst, fluff, cycle comfort, language
You normally considered having two mates a blessing, but lately, Cassian was getting on your nerves. Azriel had been away for a week at the camps under Rhys's orders to investigate rumors of unrest. Your cycle was expected soon, and you were always emotional the first few days before it. You tried to keep it under control, but your grip was slipping. Especially since you were training with Cassian under the scorching sun. Your muscles were starting to cramp, and you were growing tired. "How much longer are we going to keep this up?" You ask. "Until you get it right." He answers, taking his stance. "Cass, I don't have anymore in me. I'm sore, I'm tired and it's too hot." You tell him.
"If you spent as much time practicing as you do complaining, we'd be done by now. I'm not going to give you special treatment, princess. Now let's try it again." He says as he readies himself. His words hurt you as they echo inside your mind. Even the usual term of endearment stings the way he said it. Your face falls, and your lip quivers as you throw down your training sword. "Fuck you, Cass! I'm done!" You say before storming towards your old room, the one from before you were mated. As Cassian realizes his mistake he chases after you only for you to slam the door on him and lock it.
"Please, y/n. I didn't mean it like that. Please let me in so we can talk about this." He says as he leans his forehead against your door. "Go away, Cass." You tell him as you lock your balcony door before curling up in bed. Your tears fall to the pillowcase as you eventually cry yourself to sleep. You wake up later in the evening, needing a drink of water. You almost trip over the tray of food Cassian must've left for you. You pick it up and carry it to the kitchen before scraping the untouched food in the trash. You leave the dishes in the sink as you grab a glass of water. Cassian clears his throat behind you.
"I didn't mean to wake you." You say quietly. "You didn't." He answers, his voice sad. "Oh." You respond before taking a drink. "Azriel will be home in the morning." He tells you, trying to keep you talking to him. "That's good." You answer before making your way back towards your room. "Y/n, please, can we talk about earlier?" He pleads with you, reaching out to take your hand but stopping himself. "There's nothing to talk about. You made yourself perfectly clear." You say before continuing to your bedroom as his words come back in your head. He calls after you, but you ignore him. You lock your door once you're inside.
You change out of your training leathers and into one of Azriel's shirts that the house retrieved for you. You lay back down but can't fall back asleep. You toss and turn as you replay the incident with Cassian over and over. You start to wonder if maybe your over reacting and making a mountain out of a mole hill. The more you think about it, the more conflicted you feel. Eventually, you fall into a restless sleep, only to wake up to searing pain in your abdomen. You curl into the fetal position as the cramp takes hold of you. You try to breathe through it, but you feel tears stinging your eyes.
As the cramp subsides, your door erupts with heavy knocking. "I'm fine." You call out. "No, you're not. Let me help." Cassian responds. You feel his concern through the bond. "I'm fine! I don't need your help!" You reply, not sure who you're trying to convince more, yourself or him. Another cramp racks your body, causing you to cry out. You feel the hurt through the bond as Cassian listens to you hurting, feeling helpless. "Princess, please." He tries again. "Don't call me that! I'm not your princess!" You shout before letting out a whimper of pain.
You hear shuffling outside your door, but the pain prevents you from focusing on it. "Angel, can I come in, please?" Azriel's voice calls through the door. The house unlocks the door for you and locks it behind him. "Oh, angel." Azriel says as he takes in the sight of you. "Az, it hurts." You say as he wraps you up in his arms. "I know, I wish I could make it stop." He says before kissing the top of your head. You curl up against him as his warm hand gently massages your lower stomach. "How does a hot bath sound, angel?" He asks softly. "Only if you'll join me." You answer. "Of course." He says with a smile.
He carefully carries you to the master bath and sits you on the vanity before starting to fill the tub with hot water. He manages to undress you before another cramp hits, making you wince. "I know it hurts, angel. Hopefully, the hot bath will help." He coos as he undresses himself. He adds your favorite vanilla and honey scented oils before gently picking you up again. He steps into the oversized bath and rests with you in his lap. He feels you tense from the hot water but then quickly feels you relaxing. His hands move to your stomach and gently start massaging. You let small moans slip past your lips as you rest your head on his chest.
"That's it, just relax." He encourages you as his magic fingers help release the pain. "Do you want to talk about what happened between you and Cass?" He asks as his hands move to your sides, massaging there. "He was mean to me. I told him how I was feeling, and he said something hurtful." You tell him as you focus your gaze on the water. Azriel gently tips your face so you're looking at him, "what was said?" He asks, just wanting to understand. You recount the incident for him as he listens. "I'm not taking sides or dismissing what he said, but did you consider that maybe he was just teasing?" Azriel says calmly.
"I did, but it still doesn't excuse that he dismissed how I was feeling." You say defensively. "I know, I know he's also been beating himself up over it since it happened." He says as he holds you close. "I think you both should talk about it and clear things up." Azriel says. He's always the voice of reason between you and Cass. "Alright, but only if you're there." You say. "Of course, anything for you, angel." He says before kissing you. He massages you a little longer before the water starts to cool. He carries you out and gently dries you off before helping you dress.
He takes you to bed before telling you he's going to get Cassian. You anxiously wait for the two of them to return. One of Azriel's shadows lingers around you to comfort you. Azriel walks back in, followed by Cassian, who rests against the wall, looking exhausted, like he hasn't slept. A pang of guilt hits you as you realize he probably hasn't. "How are you feeling?" He asks. "Better now." You reply. "About yesterday-" he starts, but you interrupt him. "I'm sorry, I might've overreacted." You say sheepishly. "No, I should've listened when you told me you were done." He says. "I shouldn't have reacted the way I did, especially this morning when you were worried about me." You say as tears start lining your eyes.
"Oh, y/n. Please don't cry." He says as he moves to the bed, hugging you before wiping away the few tears that escaped. "Princess." You say quietly as you try to calm down. "What?" Cassian asks, confused. "Call me princess." You mumble into his chest. "Alright, princess." He says with a small smile. "I love you." You tell him as you settle into his arms. "I love you too." He says before kissing the top of your head. You feel your stomach cramping again and wince from the pain. Cassian instictively started massaging your lower stomach. "I'll make you some tea and bring you a tonic for the pain." Azriel says before walking towards the kitchen.
Cassian helps you get settled into bed as he lays beside you. You start playing with his hair, careful not to pull any tangles. He smiles as he watches you. His eyes grow heavy as he tries to fight it. "You need to get some sleep." You tell him. "I'm ok." He says as he yawns. "Stuborn Illyrian." You tease before kissing him. "Yeah, but I'm your stubborn Illyrian." He says with a grin. "Yes, you are, my love." You say sweetly. "You both are," you add as Azriel comes back into the room. "We both are what?" He asks. "Her stuborn Illyrians." Cassian answers. "Who said I was stuborn?" He asks, feigning offense. "You know you are." You tease in response.
"Looks like somebody doesn't want goodies." He says while pulling away the tray with your tea and tonic along with various sweets. "Please, love." You say with a pouty face that he can't resist. "I can't say no to you, angel." He says as he hands you the tonic to take. Once you drink it, he hands you your tea and a cookie before climbing into bed beside you. You settle in between the two of them as they snuggle closer to you, surrounding you with their warmth as you all eventually drift asleep. Your pain subsides between the tonic and the warmth.

Broken Road [Alternate Ending] Simon 'Ghost' Riley x Female Reader
Warnings: Violence, Language, Blood, Angst
Ghost was about to interrupt your conversation with Soap when your words had him stopping dead in his tracks. "Who could love anyone so broken, Johnny?" You ask rhetorically. Ghost quickly turns and leaves before either of you can see him. "He's been through enough. He deserves someone better than me." You tell him. "He's crazy about you, but the grumpy bastard won't admit it. I think you're perfect for each other, lass." He says. You're not convinced. "Just keep spending time with him, you'll see." Soap says.
Later that night in the mess hall, you take a seat with Soap and Gaz. "Where's Ghost?" You ask after realizing he isn't joining. "Eating in his dorm, said something about paperwork." Gaz answers as you all finish eating. You saved your brownie knowing their one of Ghosts favorites. You made your way towards his dorm, gently knocking. Moments later, it cracks open, hiding most of Ghost, "What?" He asks, sounding annoyed. "Gaz said you were doing paperwork, so I brought you a brownie. I know how much you hate paperwork." You say, stopping yourself before you can ramble.
"Si, come back to bed." A female voice calls. Your face falls as realization hits you. "This was stupid. Sorry for interrupting." You mumble before turning and walking away. You hear Ghost shut the door, and your heart shatters. Halfway back to your dorm, you can't keep your composure as you bump into Soap. He takes you to his dorm, which is closer. "Tell me what happened, lass." He says as he hands you a box of tissues. Once your tears have slowed, you're finally able to tell Soap.
"He's with a girl. I went to take him the brownie, and she told him to come back to bed." You say as the tears return full force. "I'm going to kill him!" Soap says angrily. "Don't. Just let it go." You say between sobs. He wraps his arms around you. "Fine, I won't kill him. I'll just kick his ass extra hard during training tomorrow." Soap says, making you smile. Soap has become like a brother to you since you joined the task force. He comforted you for the next hour before you decided to go back to your own dorm.
The next morning, the hurt had been replaced with anger, and you hardened your heart against Ghost. You got dressed in your training joggers and one of Soap shirts he had left behind that you'd normally use as a sleep shirt. You threw your hair up in a ponytail before making your way towards the training area. You started making small talk with some of the recruits when an incessant giggling caught your attention, followed by the female voice from last night. She was recounting her escapades with Ghost. The anger inside you simmering towards a boil.
Thankfully, Soap came along to distract you. "Are you trying to get me in trouble?" He teases as he steps beside you. "You don't like it?" You tease. "I didn't think you'd wear it outside your dorm, but I approve of your tactic." He says with a laugh. "I woke up and chose violence." You say with a laugh of your own. "We'll if you wanted to piss him off, it's working." Soap says, seeing Ghost glare at you in another man's shirt. "It's the least I could do." You say before hearing an angry Ghost get started with training.
Towards the end, Ghost paired everyone up for hand to hand combat training. Of course, he paired you with the recuit he spent the night with. He and Soap went over the moves and instructions before walking around and observing, offering criticism and corrections. "Could you be more pathetic?" She asks, catching you off guard. "Excuse you?!" You grit your teeth as the anger starts building. "I brought you a brownie. I know how much you hate paperwork." She says in a mocking tone.
"Why would he want someone like you when he could have a real woman like me." She sneers. "I'm surprised he fucked you, with how much he hates paperwork, he'll be filling out a lot of it when he has to get tested for STDs. Who knows what nastiness your cunt is breeding." You say with a smirk before continuing, "haven't you fucked your way through at least half the task force? Sweetie you're nothing but a barracks bunny playing dress up." Her face sours as she tries to punch you. Within seconds a fight has broken out between the two of you. You land a punch to her nose breaking it as blood pours down her face.
Moments later, you're pulled off of her by Soap as Ghost grabs ahold of the other recruit who is holding her nose. "Take her to medical." He instructs Soap before staring at you. You cross your arms over your chest and glare back at him. "Everyone clear out!" Ghost orders placing a hand on your shoulder to stop you, "not you." You roll your eyes and wait for the others to leave. Once the last recruit leaves and the door shuts, Ghost turns his full attention to you. "I should have you transferred for that little stunt." He shouts. "Do it! I already asked for a transfer anyway! With you're support I'll be gone by the end of the week." You smirk. "Good!" He says before storming off towards Price's office.
You hit the showers before returning to your dorm. Once inside, you start theowing everything but the necessary items into your duffel. Once the majority of it is packed, you check your e-mail and see one from Price requesting you pay a visit to his office. You groan, assuming this has something to do with your fight with the recruit. You head towards his office. After being granted permission to enter, you're relieved to find it's only him. "Take a seat." He says, indicating towards one of the chairs. You sit and try not to fidget. "What did you want to see me about, Sir?" You ask patiently. "It's about your transfer. Are you sure this is what you want?" He asks as he leans back in his chair.
"Absolutely, I mean I'll miss most of the guys here, but I think it's for the best." You answer honestly. "Well, if you're sure about this, you have your choice between Kortac and Shadows." He tells you. "Kortac would be great, I don't trust Graves." You tell him. "Kortac it is then. If you want, I can have you on a chopper first thing tomorrow." He says. "Sounds good, I've already got most of my stuff packed, so that works." You answer, happy you don't have enough time to change your mind. "I'll let them know to expect you." He says before telling you that's all. He stands up and hugs you, "Didn't think you could leave without one, did you?" You hug him back, "Thank you for everything you've done for me over the years." You say as tears blur your vision. "If you need anything at all, just reach out to me. You'll always have a spot in the 141." He says, giving you a final squeeze before releasing you.
After leaving Price's office, you track down Soap and tell him he's going to the pub with you. "You don't have to tell me twice. But why are we going to the pub?" He says as he grabs his coat. "I'll tell you after a few drinks." You say as the two of you start towards the pub. "This can't be good if I need alcohol." He says teasingly, trying to lighten whatever you're going to tell him. You find an empty table for two towards the back as Soap goes to get the first round. He places your drink in front of you along with a shot. "Figured maybe it called for shots." He says, causing you to smile. "Cheers." He says before both of you down your shots.
"Time to rip the band-aid off lass." He says before taking a drink of his beer. "I'm transferring to Kortac." You say waiting for his reaction. "When do you leave?" He asks, keeping his expression neutral. "First thing tomorrow." You tell him. "Fucking hell. Not wasting any time are ya?" He says. "Johnny, I'm sorry. I just need to get away." You say apologetically. "I know, lass. I just didn't think it would happen this fast." He says before taking another drink. "I didn't think so either, but at least we get o e more night of memories." You say. "That we do, let's make the most of it. To new beginnings." He says tipping his glass to yours. "To better tomorrows." You add before taking a drink.
You spend the majority of the evening laughing at old memories from missions. By the end of the night, you're both singing off key to pop hits before stumbling back to base. You crash out in Soap's dorm as you're too tired to make it to your own. Your alarm on your phone wakes you up. "It's too loud and too early." Soap grumbles beside you as you shut it off. "I gotta get up and finish packing." You tell him. "I'll help you." He says as he gets dressed and follows you to your dorm. "I don't have much to pack, only the essentials." You tell him. "He sits on your bed watching you shove the rest of your stuff in your duffle.
He pulls out his phone before pulling you in beside him, "say cheese," he says before snapping a picture of the two of you. "Send that to me, please." You say after looking at it. "Of course." He says after he hits send. He grabs your bag and escorts you outside where your chopper is waiting. "Take care of yourself, lass. Don't let them bully ya." He says after tossing your bag inside. "Take care of yourself. Hopefully, we'll cross paths soon." You say before hugging him. "I'm going to miss you." He says. "We'll keep in touch." You assure him as your eyes fill with tears. "Of course." He says, "but right now you've got to go be a badass for Kortac. They're lucky to have ya." He says as he helps you into the chopper.
He stands and watches you disappear into the distance. Once your chopper is out of site he takes off to find Ghost. As soon as Ghost opens the door to his dorm, Soap lands a punch to his jaw. "What the hell, Soap?!" He shouts as he recovers. "That's for y/n!" He shouts angrily. "Stay out of it, Johnny! It's between me and her!" Ghost sneers. "Not anymore! Because of you, she's gone!" Soap says. "What do you mean she's gone?" Ghost asks, confused. "She's on her way to join Kortac in Austria!" Soap says as his anger rises. "When does she leave?" Ghost asks as his chest tightens. "She already left. She hopped a chopper 10 minutes ago." Soap tells him.
He never realized you were serious about transferring. He just assumed the two of you would be pissed at each other for a week, then get over it like usual. He never thought you'd actually leave, not with you being close to everyone here. "What have I done?!" Ghost says in a panic. "You fucked up royally." Soap answers. "We have to get her back. We have to get the chopper to turn around! She didn't say goodbye." He says as his emotions send him into a spiral. "She's gone, Ghost." Soap says. Ghost pushes past Soap and sprints towards Price's office.
He doesn't bother knocking, "You need to get her back here!" Ghost demands as he storms into the office. "Ghost, don't make this harder than it already is. She wanted this. She asked for it and accepted the transfer to Kortac on her own wishes." Price says as he stares at the papers on his desk. "Then get me a transport to catch up with her!" He says after slamming his hands down on the desk. "She didn't say goodbye, and we have unfinished business." He says quieter. "Ghost, give her time." Price says calmly. "I can't! I need to fix this now!" Ghost says. "Enough, you're not going after her." Price says with authority.
Ghost can't help the tightening in his chest as he walks back to his dorm. The realization that you actually left without saying a word to him. He locked the door behind him before sinking onto his bed. He pulls out his phone to try to text you, but every message comes back as failed to send. He swears under his breath before throwing his phone against the wall. He never got a chance to apologize and try to fix what he ruined. Anguish and regret taking hold of his heart as comes to terms with you just leaving. If he could just get ahold of you and apologize, he believes he can fix it. Instead, he's stuck with this new reality that you're gone.

Broken Road Simon 'Ghost' Riley x Female Reader
Warning: Angst, Violence, Fluff, Language
You got dressed in your training joggers and one of Soap's shirts he had left behind that you'd normally use as a sleep shirt.
"Do it! I was going to ask for a transfer anyway! With you're support I'll be gone by the end of the week." You smirk.
"Why were you going to ask for a transfer?" Ghost says surpringly quiet. "It doesn't matter." You answer, still angry. "Yes, it does." Ghost replies. "No, it doesn't! You don't even care." You say with venom lacing your voice, "you never cared." You see anger on Ghost's face, "You don't get to tell me I don't care! Not after your little conversation with Soap yesterday after training. Your eyes widen in panic. "That's right, I heard enough to get the hint." He says angrily. "Ghost, I didn't mean...." You start, but he cuts you off, "Save it. I'll talk to Price about your transfer. Better start packing." He says before turning and storming out.
You made it back to your dorm and locked it before curling up on the bed and burying yourself under the blankets. You lay there numbly, wondering how it all fell apart. A knock on the door pulls you from your thoughts, but you ignore it. Soon, the knocking becomes louder. "I know you're in there, I brought you food." Soap says through the door. He knocks again, "Come on, y/n. Please let me in." He says, almost breaking your resolve. You hear the tray being sat on the floor, "foods out here if you want it. I even snagged you an extra cookie." He tries one last time before walking away.
You open the door once you're sure he's gone and grab the two cookies before locking your door again. You crawl back in bed and stare at the wall. You start thinking about how you'll miss Soap, Gaz, and Price once you're transferred. Your mind turns to Ghost, and your heart aches. You try to push him from your mind, but he keeps coming back until you eventually fall asleep. Tossing and turning as you relive yesterday and todays events.
Meanwhile, Soap tracks down Ghost cleaning up the training room. "Hey, asshole!" Soap says before punching Ghost in the face. "What the fuck, Soap!" Ghost shouts as he recovers. "You tell me, what happened between you and y/n?!" Ghost rolls his eyes. "Leave it alone, Soap." Soap tenses, "No, tell me what happened!" Ghost shoves him, "You know what happened! She said it herself, I'm too broken for anyone to love!" Ghost says angrily. "You idiot! She was talking about herself! She thinks you deserve better than her and that you've been through enough!"
"Fuck!" Ghost says as he realizes how badly he fucked up. "She's got it backwards though, she deserves better than you, especially after that shit you pulled!" Soap says. "I should beat the shit out of you for managing to destroy her in less than 24 hours." Soap threatens. "I have to fix this." Ghost says. "What makes you think you can fix this?!" Soap asks. "I don't know but I have to try!" Ghost states. "If you're not committed to her 100% then you need to let her go. She's been through enough without you adding to it." Soap says.
Unable to stay asleep, you took the tray back to the mess hall after scraping the food into the trash. Once you returned the tray, you made your way towards Price's office. You saw the light under the door so you knew he was in there. After knocking, he called for you to enter. He motioned for you to take a seat. "As per your email, I've put out feelers, and you have your choice between Kortac and Shadows." Price says, not bothering with small talk. "Shadows are out because I don't trust Graves. Kortac would be great." You're cut off by the door slamming open and Ghost storming in.
"You can't transfer y/n!" He shouts. "WE were just discussing that matter, She's decided to transfer to Kortac." Price says. Ghost acknowledges you for the first time since barging in, "You're not transferring!" He shouts. "Lower your voice, Ghost." Price warns. "We have unfinished business." Ghost says, keeping his attention on you. "No, we don't. You made that clear after training. How is what's her name anyway?" You say sarcastically before turning back to price and asking, "When can I leave?" Price shuffles your transfer papers on the desk, "about 2-3 days, as soon as paperwork is in order." "Thank you, sir." You say before leaving his office only to have Ghost on your heels.
"You're not transferring!" He says as he runs ahead of you to block your door. "I'd better start packing." You say, throwing his own words back in his face. "You're not packing because you're not leaving, not until you hear me out." He says. "There's nothing to hear you out about. You made everything clear as to how you feel." You say as your lip starts to quiver. You hate that he is having this effect on you. You see the pain flash across his face. "I know you hate me right now, and I know I've ruined everything, but I want to make it right. I love you." He says the last part so quietly you almost don't hear it.
You almost break at how vulnerable Ghost looks in front of you. He still stands taller than you but seems smaller somehow. You resist the urge to comfort him when you know he doesn't deserve it, especially from you. "Please, just let me try to fix the damage I've caused between us." He practically pleads. "Ghost, give me time." You say softly. He gives you a nod and reluctantly moves from in front of your door. He watches the door close behind you, hoping you'll give him a chance.
Once you're inside, you lay in bed, feeling more confused than before. You toss and turn all night, not being able to sleep as your mind keeps drifting back to Ghost telling you he loves you. Once morning comes, you skip breakfast. You don't want to get out of bed. The knock you've been expecting finally comes. "It's open." You call hearing your door open, and a tray sat on your desk before hearing the door close. "I'm not hungry, Soap." You say, not moving to look at him. You're only met with silence. "If you think giving me the silent treatment will make me move, you're wrong." You say.
More silence. "Suit yourself." You say before ignoring him. After several moments you turn over to discover your alone. Confused you pull out your phone and text Soap.
Y/n: Are you training early?
Soap: No, did you want to?
Y/n: No. I was wondering why you dropped off breakfast and left.
Soap: I didn't drop off breakfast.
Y/n: Well someone left me breakfast.
Soap: 💀
You look at the tray and see it's loaded with sweets and a glass of milk. You can't help your small smile that maybe Ghost did bring you breakfast. You ate a few of the sweets along with drinking the milk before deciding to save the rest for later. You change into a pair of shorts and johnny's shirt again and make your way towards the training room. "Ghost!" You shout as you burst through the doors. "I challege you to a sparring match, you win I go out with you. I win you, let me transfer to Kortac!" You say confidently as he turns his attention towards you. "Deal!" He says with a smirk.
"Are you sure about this?" Soap asks. "Never been more sure." You say confidently. "You two going to spend all morning talking or what?" You step onto the mat, "someone is eager to lose." You tease. "Not on your life." He says. The two of you start circling, waiting to make your move. Ghost moves first with a strike you easily block and counter. "You always were impatient." You taunt as you nake your move. He grabs you and flips you to the mat. "You're always reckless." He says as his pins you. You stuggle for a few minutes before you flip him over pin him. You hold on tightly as he resists. Once he breaks free, he creates some space.
"You're not scared, are you?" You ask, feigning innocence. "It's you who should be scared. I can't wait to take you out." He says wolfishly. "You haven't won yet." You remind him. "Oh, but I have." He says watching you. You let his words have their desired effect as you charge him and knock him to the mat. You strike his side and chest as he blocks his face. He lays there and lets you take out all your anger on him until you're crying. He wraps his arms around you and holds you against him. "That's it. Let it out." He says softly while stroking your hair. "I hate you for sleeping with her." You manage to say. "I hate me too, love.
"Hate me as much as you need to because I deserve it, but please let me love you, and maybe you'll fall back in love with me." He says as he rests his head on top of yours. Your fist holds his shirt tighter as you soak it with your tears. He carefully stands with you before carrying you to his dorm. He sits on his bed with you in his lap. "Take these." He says, handing you two pills and a glass of water. You take them without hesitation. "They'll help with your headache." He says softly. "But I don't have one." You argue. "Not yet, but you will from all your emotions.
He lays down with you curled up against him as he refuses to let you go. "Get some rest." He says as he pulls the blanket over both of you. "You had better have cleaned your bedding." You threaten as your eyes get heavy. "Brand new bedding, love. I burnt the old." He says. "Good boy." You mumble half asleep. "Sweet dreams, love." He says before kissing your forehead. "Sweet dreams." You whisper quietly. He holds you as he strokes your back til your breath evens out, signaling you're asleep. "I promise to right every wrong, love." He whispers before falling asleep beside you.

New Gear Soap x Female Reader
Warnings: None just fluff
Soap told you he had a surprise for you. He picked you up on his bike and refused to tell you where you were going. You were practically bouncing with excitement as he headed into town. He made sure his spare had a cardo system hooked up so you could easily communicate. You held on tight as he made his way through traffic until he pulled up outside the motorcycle shop. He helped you off and removed your helmet before heading inside with you. He walks over towards the helmet display and tells you to pick out whichever one you like.
"Seriously?! You're buying me my own helmet!!" You say excitedly. "I know how much you hate wearing my spare, plus it doesn't fit you right." Soap says as he watches your eyes light up. You quickly start looking at helmets, picking up a few you like, Soap telling you which brands are better than others. You notice how expensive some of the brands he's showing you are, and you start to feel guilty about how much he'd end up spending. You find the perfect fit, and it's got a watercolor design in blues and purples that you love. You look at the price tag and make a face before putting it back.
"What's wrong?" Soap asks from beside you. "Nothing." You answer, but he isn't believing you. "I thought you loved that one." He pushes. "I do it'd just more than I think you should spend." You admit. He rolls his eyes and picks up the boxed size you need. "Johnny, that's way too much!" You protest as you try to grab the box. "Babe, it's never too much to help keep you safe." He says as he holds the box out of your reach. "Besides, you look good in it." He says with a wink, making you roll your eyes. "Now let's get you a jacket." He says as he walks towards the racks of apparel.
"You're already spending too much!" You say as you trail behind him. "What did I just say, babe?" He says as he starts flipping through jackets before finding a black armored one. "What about this one?" He says, holding it up. "I like it. Let me try it on." You say as he takes it off the hanger. You quickly put it on and zip it up. It fits like a glove, hugging you in all the right places without being restrictive. "How do I look?" You ask as you turn around, giving him the full view. "You're getting that." He says with a wolfish grin, making you laugh. You unzip it and drape it over your arm, "Have I spent enough of your money yet?" You ask teasingly.
"Babe, you can spend as much of my money as you want." He says. "I think we can call it a day for now." You say as you follow him towards the register. Your eyes widen when you hear his total for the two items. You feel guilty as he hands over the cash. Soap leans in and whispers, "You're worth every cent." Once you're outside, Soap helps you into your new jacket before he zips it up for you. "I've already got a cardo for your helmet that I can put in tonight." He says. "Thanks, babe. You didn't have to do that." You say as he secures your new helmet on for you. "Where we going now?" You ask curiously. "I gotta get fuel, then I was thinking we'd grab ice cream?" He answers. "Sounds good to me." You tell him.
Once you're on and holding onto him, he takes off towards a gas station. Once he pulls up to the pump and runs his card, you start harassing him. First, you start by flipping his visor down, leaving your fingerprints on it. He gets off and grabs the squeegee and aggressively cleans his visor, causing you to laugh. Once he's back on and secures his gas cap, he starts the bike just to have you killswitch him. "You're really going to be a menace after I spoil you?" You say as he flips your visor down before you can answer. He starts the bike back up, and you decide to behave before he changes his mind about treating you to ice cream.
He pulled into a little ice cream shop and helped you unstrap your helmet before taking your hand as you walked in. "Get whatever you want, babe." He says as it's your turn to order. You get a cone with sprinkles. "Can we sit outside?" You ask. "Of course." He says before holding the door for you. You find a picnic table and sit down beside one another. "Thank you for all this." You tell him. "Juat figured since you like riding so much, we might as well get you some gear that fits." He says as you two enjoy your ice cream and people watch. You two occasionally steal a sampling of the other ice cream as you joke around. Once the ice cream is gone, you sit and enjoy the quiet around you for a while. "You about ready? I have to be back to base early tomorrow morning." He says. "Yeah, whenever you are." You reply.
As Soap finishes securing your helmet, you hear two excited voices talking about the bike. "Mom, check out the bike!" One boy shouts as his brother says he wants one. "Do you want to rev it?" Soap asks the boys. They both ask their mom if its ok. She smiles and nods, "As long as he's okay with it, just be careful." She says. The boys excitedly run to where Soap is. He starts the bike up and lets the bigger of the two boys rev it first. You notice the mom taking pictures as Soap puts the smaller of the two boys on the bike and lets him rev it too. You can't help but smile and swoon at Soap's interacting with them.
One's the boys have had their fun they thank Soap and run inside to get ice cream. You smile like an idiot as Soap walks back climbs on the bike. "What are you grinning about?" He asks. "Nothing, you were just really good with those kids. I don't think they'll  forget that anytime soon." You say as you climb on behind him. "That was nothing. I just couldn't resist how excited they were." He says before starting the bike and heading back to your apartment. Once he pulls into the driveway, he undoes the strap on your helmet. "I'll get that Cardo installed before our next ride." He says as he follows you inside. You hang up your new jacket and leave your helmet on the table by the door next to his.
"Ready to get comfortable and relax?" You ask as you grab some sleep pants and one of his shirts from the dresser. "Absolutely he says as he strips to his boxer briefs before slipping on a pair of grey sweatpants. You quickly change and join him on the couch as he flips through movies, trying to find something to watch. You cuddle up to his side as you grab a throw blanket to cover up with before yawning. "Looks like I wore you out." He teases. "All the excitement of being spoiled." He smiles, "still worth every penny." You roll your eyes, "next time I get to spoil you." You say. You don't make it through opening credits as you quickly fall asleep beside him.

Broken Home Azriel x Female Reader
Warnings: Pregnancy, Azriel being an ass, Angst, Hurt
You were excited as Madja confirmed your suspicion. You were finally pregnant. After years of trying and tears every time your cycle came, you were finally going to start a family. "Congratulations, both of you." She says with a warm smile. You can't help but smile as you gently rest your hand on your stomach. "I'd estimate you're about 2 months along, give or take." She says before telling you she'll check on you next month, but not to hesitate to reach out to her with any concerns or questions. She takes her leave after congratulating you again.
"Isn't this wonderful, Az? We finally get to start a family." You say excitedly. "It's wonderful." He says before kissing you. You return the kiss before starting to list all the things you need to do to get ready. You gush about how excited you are to tell everyone. Azriel can't help but chuckle at your enthusiasm as he listens to you. You start talking about decorating the nursery and buying cute baby clothes. "Slow down, love. You're only two months pregnant. We have plenty of time for all that." He says before his smile suddenly drops and his brows furrow.
"Azriel, what's wrong? If Rhys thinks he's sending you away-" You're interrupted by Azriel, "How could you?!" He asks through clenched teeth, holding back his sudden anger. "How could I what?" You ask genuinely confused. "It's not mine!" He says angrily. Hurt flashes across your face as his words hit you. "What are you talking about? Of course it's yours. Who else could it be?!" You ask with raised voice. "2 months ago, I spent the majority of the time away! You seriously cheated on me?! After everything I've done for you, for us?!" He yells.
"I never cheated on you. How could you think that?!" You say as your eyes fill with tears. "How long were you planning to wait to tell me?" He asks insulted. "Azriel, I swear I never cheated on you! I love you!" His eyes darken as the anger inside him worsens, "I don't love you. We're done. Mating bond be damned." He says before storming out of the house. Your heart shatters as you protectively hold your stomach and sob. You curl up in the fetal position until you cry yourself to sleep.
Once you wake up and realize how late it is, it's obvious that Azriel isn't coming back. Anger suddenly replaces sadness as you start packing your things. You refuse to wait for Azriel to come to his senses if he ever will. Your baby needs you more than anything now that you're in this alone. A knock on the door pulls you from packing your clothes. You answer it, surprised to see Rhys and Feyre this late. "It's almost midnight. What are you two doing here?" You ask as you move to let them in. "Azriel told us everything." Rhys says softly.
"Of course he did. Tell him I'm going to find an apartment in the morning and then he'll have the house all to himself." You say angrily. "You don't need to find an apartment. We have plenty of room for you and the baby at the river house." Feyre offers. "I can't stay with you. I don't want to cause tension between you, and I need my own space where I don't have to worry about bumping into him." You say. "We'll still be friends, right?" Feyre asks nervously.
"Of course, nothing changes that. You and the rest of the inner circle are always welcome in my home." You say with a reassuring smile. "Azriel is an ass and will eventually realize how badly he screwed up." Rhys says. "Time will tell." You respond. "You know you're still welcome in our home, and don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything." Rhys says before offering you a hug. "Thank you for everything. If you don't mind, it's late and I have a lot to do tomorrow." You say. "Of course, take care of yourself and your little one." They say before leaving.
You go back to your room and lay in bed. Letting your emotions take over, losing all motivation to finish packing. You go over how the happiest day of your life turned into the worst. In this moment, you genuinely hated Azriel for putting you through this. "It's ok, peanut. We're going to be alright." You say reassuringly as you rub your stomach before drifting asleep, dreaming of what your little one will be like.
☆~☆~☆~☆~☆
You were able to secure a two bedroom apartment, and over the next few months, you got settled in. Cassian and Rhys helped to assemble the crib and bassinet for you while Feyre and Mor helped you pick out clothes and decor for the nursery. You were putting the finishing touches on the nursery when you were hit hard with a contraction, making you double over. Another one racked your body, and soon your water broke. You reached out for Rhys to get Madja telling him you were going into labor.
You managed to make it into bed and put on a loose-fitting robe. Soon, Madja came in, followed by Rhys. "I'm not due for another month." You say as Madja starts checking the progress of your labor. "Everything will be alright." Rhys says from beside you. "I'm going to do everything I can for you and the baby." Madja assures you before pulling Rhys aside. "You need to get Azriel. There is a chance she won't survive this. The baby has small wings I couldn't see before." Madja whispers to Rhys before coming back to you.
"What's wrong?!" You ask, knowing it can't be good. "Nothing you need to worry about. Just focus on delivering your baby." She says as she moves into position. Feyre comes in to stay with you as Rhys takes off towards the house of wind. Feyre holds your hand and reminds you to breathe. "You've comenso far, y/n. You're almost there." She says encouragingly. You give her your best smile, but insid, you're terrified. You want Azriel to be here, to be the one holding your hand and talking you through this. "I'm scared, Feyre." You admit for the first time.
Meanwhile, Rhys arrives at the house of wind and finds Azriel outside training. "Y/n is giving birth." Rhys tells him. "Why are you telling me? Go tell the real father." He practically spits, tired of talking about you and the baby. "Because you're the real father! Although you're a real ass for forcing her to do this alone for so long." Rhys says agrily. "She cheated on me, and I'm just supposed to pretend it never happened and that the child is mine?!" Azriel says.
"Today could very well be the day she dies! The baby has small wings that Madja couldn't see before, and y/n's body isn't meant to birth a child with wings!" Rhys shouts at his brother. Azriel's face pales at the news. "Now man up and go be there for her and your baby, because so far you've been a shit father." Rhys says before making his way back to your apartment. Azriel stands there stunned for a moment before taking off after Rhys.
"I need Azriel, I can't do this without him!" You say as your energy diminishes. "You have to push. Your baby needs you to push!" Madja says as Feyre dabs your forehead with a cool cloth while holding your hand. "I'm here, baby. I'm right here." Azriel says as he bursts into the room. "Az, I can't do this." You say as you cry. "Yes, you can. You will deliver our baby, and we're going to be a family." He says confidently. "You can do this, love." He assures you. "One more hard push, y/n. You're almost there." Madja says. You give it all you've got.
Tiny cries fill the room, and you ask Azriel how the baby looks. "She's perfect." He says as he admires your daughter. He turns his attention back to you and sees how pale you are. "I love you." You tell him before you lose consciousness and your body falls limp. "Y/n! Come on! Wake up!" He says in a panic as Madja orders Rhys to take him out of the room. Before handing Feyre the baby as she follows Rhys and Azriel out, leaving Madja to work.
Azriel holds your daughter, finding comfort in her tiny presence. He anxiously paces back and forth, wondering how you're doing. After seemingly hours, Madja comes out of the room, unable to say anything, for Azriel rushes in and finds you sleeping. "She's been through a lot and lost a lot of blood. She should wake up in a couple of hours, but she needs to stay in bed. She will be fine, though." Madja says. "Thank you." Azriel says as he blinks away tears. Madja makes her way out of the room, leaving Azriel alone with you and your daughter.
He looks down at the baby in his arms and notices the resemblance between himself and her. His tears fall freely as he realizes just how wrong he was and how he ruined everything. "I sure made a mess of things. Think Mommy will ever forgive me? Can't say I'd blame her if she didn't." He says as he watches her stretch in his arms. "Hopefully, you take after mommy more than your old man. I hope you have her kind heart and love." He says softly. Suddenly, she starts to fuss, sending Azriel into a panic as he's unsure of what to do.
"She's hungry." You say as you wake up to her fussing. Azriel brings her over to you and gently lays her in your arms. You carefully stroke her soft hair as she nurses quietly. "She needs a name." You say casually. "Do you have any picked out?" Azriel asks, a pang of guilt hitting him as he realizes what all he's missed out on. "I was thinking Addie." You say, watching forna reaction. "I think it's perfect." Azriel says, smiling at you and Addie.
"I never cheated on you." You say addressing the elephant in the room. You watch his shoulders slump. "I know, I was an ass for even thinking that you would've." He says. "Y/n, I'm so sorry. I left when you needed me, and I ruined what should've been the happiest day of our lives. I'm sorry I missed your entire pregnancy and wasn't there to support you like I should've been. I have a lot to make up for if you'll give me the chance." He says anxiously, rubbing the back of his neck.
"No more leaving. If you're in this, you're in it for the long haul because that's what Addie deserves, and I'll accept nothing less." You tell him. "I'm not ever leaving you again, and I'll spend the rest of our lives making this up to you and showing you how truly sorry I am." He says. "Good. Now get over here and kiss me because I've missed you." You say with a small laugh, causing your stomach to hurt. "Easy, Madja says you are to rest until she says otherwise." Azriel says before leaning over and kissing you.

Can I request some angsty fic for Helion from ACOTAR. I feel that he doesnt get as much attention as he should. It can end however you like, I just ask for a lot of angst <3
I've never really written for Helion or gave it much thought to do so, but this was an interesting challenge. I hope it is along the lines of what you had in mind.
Snuffed Out Helion x Female Reader
Long ago, you had fallen for Helion's charms and had been burnt just the same. After he broke your heart by falling for the future lady of autumn, you had found a home in Velaris among the inner circle. The only reason you'd returned to Helion's court was at Rhys's request to help find a way to help Vassa. Helion had tried to repair his friendship with you, but you rejected all his attempts. He didn't realize how much he would miss having you in his life until you left.
You were surrounded by books in the back corner of the library. You found solice in the quiet as you leafed through the pages. You were growing tired and about to call it a night when you heard familiar footsteps approaching. "You missed dinner again, so I thought I'd bring you a plate." Helion says as he peers over your fortress of books. "I'm not hungry. I was about to go to bed, to be honest." You say not bothering to look up from the book. "You need to eat." He says as he sets the plate down on the table.
"The sooner I find a solution to Vassa's problem, the sooner I can return home." You say annoyed. "This was once your home," he says softly, "still is." You let out a sigh, "that was centuries ago, Velaris is my home now." You say watching him flinch like the words physically struck him. "Your home here will always be waiting for your return." Helion says, refusing to believe you. "Then it shall wait an eternity." You say as you stand up and brush past him, making your way out of the library.
Helion picked up the plate and carried it back to the kitchen. He scraped the food into the trash and left the plate in the sink. He made his way to his study. As he paced back and forth, the light in the stable caught his attention. It was too late for anyone to be out there working. He quickly made his way out to the stable, remaining in the shadows once he heard your soft voice. You were talking to Meallan, "You were always my favorite." You gently pet his neck before turning to his mate, "and you pretty girl were always a handful." You say playfully while giving her a treat.
Helion watches your care-free demeanor with his two prized pegasus, jealous that they get the side of you that you keep locked away from him. His heart aching that you're no longer close to him and not sure how to fix it. You keep doting on the pegasus, a genuine smile lighting up your face. "I've missed you both." You tell them as if they understand what you're saying. You notice a cut on Meallan's leg and see the blood. "Oh sweet boy, you're hurt." You tell him before entering his stall without a second thought.
You reach out to inspect the injury. The area around the cut must be tender because as soon as you touch it, he spooks and rears up. It all happens so fast that you don't have time to react, nor does Helion. You're knocked to the ground after Meallan's hoof catches your arm, and his wing catches you off balance. Helion is rushing into the stall to help you to your feet and out to safety. "Stay put. I'll send for a healer!" He says in a panic. "I'm fine. Make sure he's okay." You say coldly.
"I will once you've been looked at." He counters. "Not until I know he will be ok!" You say assertively. "Why are you so stubborn?!" He asks. "I learned from the best." You answer. Helion gets one of his men to fetch a vet for Meallan and a healer for you. You wait anxiously for someone to look at Meallan. Finally, help arrives and determines its just a minor cut before they bandage it. "Thank you." You say before they leave. "Your turn." Helion says, not leaving room for argument.
You let the healer look at your arm just so you can get away from him. She determines its fractured and tells you you'll need a sling for a few days until it can heal. After she has your arm in the sling, you thank her for her time. After she leaves, you move to take your leave. "Are you ever going to talk to me?" Helion asks, causing you to stop in your tracks. "I prefer to keep our conversations professional and brief." You tell him. "Why can't we be friends?!" He asks, obviously annoyed.
"Because I have no desire to be your friend." You state calmly. "What did I do to you that was so bad?!" He asks as he raises his voice. "You picked her! You took a fool of a girl and made me fall for you, then you chose a woman that was promised to someone else! You broke me in a way. I refuse to let anyone break me in again!" You say as anger builds inside you. "I was young and naive, and you took advantage of that! I loved you and was willing to do whatever you asked of me just to have you choose someone else. This is not my home, and you are not my friend." You shout before fleeing into the house.
Once in your room, you quickly start packing your bags. Your vision blurs as tears line your eyes. You quickly stuff your clothes in your bag, wanting to go home. "I've reached out to Rhys, He's sending Azriel to come take you home."  Helion says from the doorway. His own features shadowed with agony at the sight of you. "I'm sorry for the pain I've caused you." He says with his head hung low. "I'm almost finished packing. Once I'm done, I'll wait outside." You say emotionless.
"As you wish, please let me help you with your bag." He says. "No need, Rhys is taking care of it." As you say that your bag vanishes. "I see." Helion says dejected. "Azriel should be here soon." He says, not knowing what else to say before he walks away. You make your way outside and rest on the steps, taking in the night's cool air. You look at the stars and start to count them like you did when you were younger. Azriel winnows in front of you, making you lose count.
"Ready to go home?" He asks softly, picking up on your mood. "Yes, please." You say before holding onto him. You take one last look before you're surrounded by darkness. Suddenly, the house of wind is in front of you. Azriel starts towards the door, stopping when he realizes you haven't moved. "Do you want to talk about it?" He asks softly. "It's ancient history, no sense in opening old wounds." You answer. "Do you want to go somewhere else?" He asks, unsure of how to help you.
"No, I don't want to inconvenience you more than I have. I'm just going to sit out here for a bit." You respond. "Don't stay out here too late. Good night, y/n." Azriel says before walking inside. You rest against the railing as you look at the city below. The soft glow is a comforting site. You think of the time you spent with Helion years ago. The memories make you question everything and leave you without answers. You look at the countless stars above as tears flood your eyes. You agrily wipe them away only to cry harder.
You're startled when a blanket is wrapped around you before you're pulled into a firm chest. Looking up, you're greeted with soft violet eyes. "Why, Rhys?! Why wasn't I deserving of his love? Why does it still hurt after all these years?" You sob into his chest. He holds you tighter. "You deserve a love better than his. Someday, someone will come along and heal the parts of you that he broke." Rhys says as he comforts you.

Comfort Azriel x Female Reader
A quick little something while I'm at work because this is what I need
Warnings: None just emotional reader and fluff/comfort.
You had fallen apart on the way home after having a rough day. You were certain you looked like a crazy person, but you were beyond caring. You just wanted comfort that only Azriel could provide. You called out for him before the door even shut behind you. Before he could step fully out of his office, you were flinging yourself into his arms. Your face buried in the crook of his neck as the sobs you'd been trying to hold back finally broke free. "It's ok, love. I've got you." He says as he carries you to the couch.
"That's it. Let it all out." He continues to comfort you as he holds you and lets you feel all of your emotions you've been bottling up. His fingers gently stroke your hair as he holds you close, folding his wings around you. He keeps whispering sweet nothings to you, trying to comfort you. He traces soothing circles along your back for a while before your breathing finally evens out as you fall asleep. He carefully carries you upstairs and lays in bed with you sleeping on top of him.
He kisses the top of your head as his fingers continue to play with your hair. He can't help but smile as you settle into him, seeking his warmth. He starts reading while you sleep until your stomach wakes you up. "Dinner should be here in a few minutes." Azriel says as your stomach growls. "Thank you for everything." You say softly. "I'm always here to take care of you." He says as there's a knock on the door. "That should be Rhys with the food. I've got it." He says before carefully moving you off of him. He returns a few minutes later with carry out containers of your favorite food from Rita's along with dessert.
"What's all this?" You ask, surprised. "I thought you could use some comfort food and sweets after the day you've had." He says with a smile while passing you your food and silverware. "Thank you, babe. You're so good to me." You tell him before you start eating. He joins you as you eat in comfortable silence. "What would you think of a vacation?" Azriel says, pulling your attention towards him. "Sounds wonderful, but we're both so busy." You answer. "I think we can make it work. Besides, I think we both could use a little break." He says. "What do you say, love?" You smile, "When do we leave?"

Remembrance Simon "Ghost" Riley x Female Reader
Warnings: Johnny "Soap" Mactavish is dead, Pregnancy
The doctor had placed you on bed rest for the remainder of your pregnancy, something you weren't thrilled about. Thankfully, you were quickly approaching your due date. You were starting to become bored out of your mind when Simon wasn't around to keep you company. Simon knew you were bored, so he'd bring you things to try to keep you entertained. They didn't for long. You kept reminding yourself only 7 more days, 1 week until you were due. You kept your focus on the finish line to help with your boredom.
You hadn't heard Simon come home, or else you'd be in bed instead of sitting on the floor in the bedroom. "What are you doing, love?" He asks as he finds you on the floor with photos scattered around you. "Taking a trip down memory lane." You reply innocently. "And you couldn't do that on the bed. Why?" He asks as he crosses his arms in front of his chest. "There's more room on the floor." You answer honestly, causing him to roll his eyes. He looks at the photos you have strewn about in front of you and notices the pictures are from the task force over the years that you've been together.
"Love, these were on the top shelf in the closet." He says in a disapproving tone. "I used the step stool and was extra careful." You say, knowing he isn't going to let that go. "What if you had fallen, love? I'd have no way of knowing until I came home." He says softly, knowing your emotional. "I know, but I miss him." You say with a lump in your throat. "I know, love. I do, too. Please just hold off on climbing furniture until after the baby is born." He says. "Ok." You say as you start to gather the pictures back up and put them in the shoe box.
He picks up one of the photos that you missed and looks at it. It was him, Soap, Price and Gaz at a cookout you hosted. He couldn't help but smile at the sauce stain on Johnny's shirt and the Hawaiian print shirt Price was wearing. You notice Simon staring at the picture and let him have his time. You pick up the rest of the photos and put them in the showbox before you move to get up. As soon as you try to stand, pain hits your stomach, causing you to drop back down, pulling Simon from his memory as fear takes over.
"What's wrong? How can I help?" He asks you in a panic. You grip his forearm and squeeze, and the contraction intensifies. Suddenly, you feel wetness pooling under you as your water breaks. "Take me to the hospital." You say calmly, not wanting him to freak out more. He takes your hands and helps you up before grabbing your hospital bag and leading you to the truck. He helps you in and makes sure your seatbelt is secure before getting in on the driver's side.  He drives as fast as he's comfortable without putting you in danger.
A scream tears past your lips as another contraction hits. Simon hits a traffic jam and swears. "Simon, please." You say, not sure what you're really asking for. "Hang on, love." He says as he throws the truck in reverse and heads towards base. The contractions are getting closer together and stronger, causing you to hold Simon's arm in a death grip. "Hurry, I don't know how much longer." You say through clenched teeth. Simon drives through the gate and towards medical. Once he's parked, he quickly helps you inside as he shouts for someone to help you.
When they see your condition, you're taken to a private room along with Simon. Simon stands by your side as your leggings are quickly removed along with your underwear. "The baby is crowning." The doctor says, "I need you to start pushing with the contractions." Simon holds your hand and keeps giving you encouragement. "You're doing so good, love. Almost there, just a few more pushes." You give one more strong push before you hear the tiny cries of your baby fill the room. "You did it, love." He says before pressing a tender kiss to your forehead.
The commotion of getting you to the base's medic drew the attention of Price. He quickly made his way over and laughed when he saw Ghost's truck sitting half parked in front of the building. He sent a text to Gaz telling him to meet at the base hospital he's going to want to see this. Price made his way inside and asked for updates regarding you and Simon. The nurses told him that since you were a civilian, he didn't have access to that information. Moments later, Gaz walked in and over to Price. "You're right, I didn't want to miss this. Any update?" He asks. "No, apparently, since y/n isn't military, I'm not allowed to know." Price says, annoyed.
Just then, Ghost comes out and looks around before spotting Gaz and Price. "Figured you'd show up if I made a big enough mess." He says to Price. "Well, I hope you didn't bust through the gate just for a false alarm." Price responds with a smirk. "It's a boy, 5 lbs. 6 oz, healthy as a horse. Y/n is resting in the room. Do you want to see them?" Ghost asks. "What kind of question is that, of course we do." Gaz says as they start following Ghost back to the room. "Look who found us." Simon says as he enters the room ahead of the others.
"You made it!" You say as you Price comes over and gives you a gentle squeeze to your shoulder. "Wouldn't miss it for the world." He says as he admires the baby in your arms. Gaz comes up beside him, "I almost thought he'd be wearing a Ghost mask." He says teasingly. "There's plenty of time for him to start." Simon retorts. "He's perfect, just like his mom." Gaz says, giving you a wink. "Would you like to hold him?" You ask. Gaz passes, but Price gently takes him from your arms and starts rocking with him. "Did you decide on a name for him yet?" Price asks as he keeps his eyes on your son.
"We did, actually." You say suddenly filled with nerves. "We decided to name him Johnny." You announce before you can change your mind. Gaz and Price both look at you as Simon moves to hold your hand in reassurance. "It suits him." Price says as a tear lines his eye. "Good name for the newest member of the 141." Gaz says with a smile. Your heart warms at their words and the strength pouring from your husband. "Soap always said it was a boy from the very beginning." Simon says somberly. You can't help but smile at the memory of Soap constantly telling it was a boy, no matter how badly you wanted a girl. "The two of you have done good." Price says as he holds Johnny.

Long Gone Pt. 2 Azriel x Female Reader
Warnings: Angst, Language
You were surprised to see Azriel sleeping on the couch, his wings hanging over the edge. You're almost tempted to massage the stiffness out of them that you knew was forming. You shook the thought from your head as you picked up your book and curled up in one of the chairs. You struggled to retain any of the words you read as your mind kept wandering to Azriel. A flutter of his wings caught your attention as he stretched on the couch. His eyes focused on you as he woke up, surprised to see you sitting there. "You're know we have a perfectly good bed upstairs." You say as you turn your attention back to your book. "It's not the same without you in it." He says as he stretches his arms and back, causing his joints to crack.
"Welcome to my world." You say sarcastically before turning the page. "Can we please talk about this?" He asks softly. "Shouldn't you be headed back to your mission." You say with disdain. "No, I'm staying here until we fix this." He says as he pulls the book from your hands and sets it on the side table. He has you seeing red as months of pain and frustration coming flooding to the surface.
"Now you want to stay, after the countless times I begged you to stay for once, to choose me over work?! You made sure I knew exactly where I fell in your list of priorities and I was willing to accept it because I loved you with every fiber of my being and like an idiot I hoped that maybe one day I'd be at the top of that list, but you've made it clear I will never be. Watching you constantly walk away without a second glance, let alone any sign of hesitation. The countless times I've had my bags packed and a note written, but like a fool, I can't leave you! Some fucked up part of me still loves you after everything you've done!" You say as tears of anger and sadness streak down your face.
"It took me having a breakdown for you to come back. I'm surprised you even cared enough to come back, or did Rhys order you to?! Do you really think this is worth fixing at the point?!" You shout as you fall apart in front of him, seeing every word land its mark. The sorrow in his eyes mixed with guilt for allowing it to get to this point. He wants so desperately to reach out and hold you, but he can't. "Your love is always worth trying to fix. I know I've destroyed us, seemingly beyond repair, and I'm the fool for not realizing it sooner." He says as he keeps his attention on you.
"I'm choosing you over everything else in my life. I should've always put you first, but I didn't. I know words mean nothing without the actions to support them. I want you to question me and doubt me every minute of every day until hopefully one day I can prove to you that I do love you and that this is worth fixing." He says as he gently takes your hands in his. "Please, y/n, all I'm asking is for one more chance. One chance to reignite the mating bond between us. One chance to love you the way you deserve to be loved." He begs you.
You look into his eyes and can tell he means every word he said. "I'll give you one chance and one chance only. Please do not make me regret this." You say as he pulls you into his arms. "I won't, angel, I promise I'll be the mate you deserve." He says as he holds you close to him. The tension in his body easing as you let yourself relax into his touch. He pulls you into his lap as he cradles you against him, allowing both of you to relish the warmth of the other. The sound of your stomach growling interrupts the silence. You ignore it as you're starved for comfort from Azriel. He gently strokes your hair as you cling to him.
"We should get you something to eat," Azriel says as he hears your stomach protesting again. "I don't want to move," you say as you settle in against him. "Ok,  few more minutes," Azriel says with a smile before kissing the top of your head. A little bit later, there's a knock on the door, interrupting your peace. "Angel, we have to get that." Azriel says when you don't move to let him up. "No, they can come back later." You whine against him. "Trust me, you're going to want to answer that." Azriel says with a smirk. "Fine." You relent as you make your way towards the door. You open it, and your heart sinks when you see who's standing there.
"He's in the living room." You tell Rhys as you step back to let him in. "What makes you think I came to see him?" Rhys asks, feigning offense. "I just assumed -" you start to say but are interrupted. "I came to bring you this," he says as he holds up a bag from your favorite bakery, "and to see how you were doing." He laughs as your eyes light up at the baked goods in his hand before handing it over. "I take it you must be doing better," he says. "Certainly seems to be." Azriel chimes in as he walks over and stands beside you. "Thank you for doing that." He says to Rhys. "It's the least I can do to help you out." Rhys says. You quickly pick up a chocolate pastry and take a bite, savoring the sweetness.
Both of them chuckling as you let out a moan of approval. "Thank you." You tell Rhys before taking another bite. "Anything for you." He says with a wink. "I should get going, y/n, let me know when you're tired of Azriel and want me to send him away." He teases. "Not for a while, at least." You say back with a smile as Azriel wraps his arms around you. Rhys takes his leave as you finish your pastry. "Did you ask him to bring me goodies?" You ask accusingly. "I told him it might be safer if he shows up with something to sweeten you up." Azriel says with a grin. "Thank you." You say before kissing him. "This is only the beginning of the long road ahead, angel," Azriel says, "but it's a road worth traveling."

Hi! Absolutely love your work!
Can i request a fic based on the scene in acowar where Azriel and Cassian saves Feyre on the ice. Where Eris has her bound and gagged with fire and tries to drag her away.
What if they are either too late and she's hurt/assaulted before they can save her, or she had someone with her that it happenens to. Maybe someone from the night Court went to spring with feyre. Bonus points if it's Cassians close friend/girlfriend/mate.
I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I did writing it. Thank you so much for the request.
Warnings: minor violence and blood, some language
Frozen Confessions Cassian x Female Reader
You watched as Eris's flames constricted tighter around Feyre's wrists and ankles, rendering her immobile. Cassian and Azriel stood on the ice, watching and planning as your closest friend was dragged closer to Eris. She tried to fight against his hold, but it was too strong. As she reached his feet, he gave her a sinister smirk, one you'd seen his father give before. You couldn't wait any longer. You silently moved behind Eris as he focused on the two Illyrians in front of him, providing enough of a distraction. You flawlessly held a dagger to his throat, "Release my High Lady now or else." You sneer is his ear. "Or else what, runt?" He says as Feyre lets out a scream from the flames heating up.
You pressed the dagger harder against his skin forcing droplets of blood to bead along the edge as you moved a second dagger to his manhood, "with a flick of my wrists I could kill you or at the very least change your religion." You say with your voice laced with venom. In an instant, Feyre is released, but the flames wrap around your wrists before you can react. Your scream fills the night as your wrists are burned mercilessly, forcing you to drop the daggers. You see a flash of red light as Cassian tackles Eris to the ice, breaking the flames holding you captive. You watch as the frozen lake turns red with blood as Cassian unleashes his rage on Eris.
"Get them to safety!" He orders Azriel, who grabs you and Feyre. Before you can break free, his shadows surround you as he winnows to the townhouse where Rhys and Madja are waiting. "We need to go back! Cassian is still there! Take me back!" You shout as Rhys inspects Feyre. "Madja tend to y/n, she was badly burned." Feyre says. "I have to help Cassian!" You shout in panic. Rhys grabs you and holds you back as Azriel winnows back to help Cassian. "Cassian will be fine. You need to let Madja look at your burns." Rhys says, trying to get you to calm down. "Not until Cassian is back!" You say stubbornly. "He'll be back soon. In the meantime, you need medical attention." Rhys argues. "If he'll be back that soon, then it shouldn't matter if I wait!" You argue back, challenging him.
Rhys is about to yell at you when Azriel winnows back with Cassian. Azriel barely stepped away before you flung yourself into Cassian's arms, refusing to let go. "I'm fine, y/n. Nothing I couldn't handle." He says. "See, now will you please let Madja tend to your burns?" Rhys says, annoyed. Before you can answer Cassian answers for you, "Yes, she will." He gives you a look that says not to fight him on this. He carries you to the couch and sits down with you in his lap. Madja comes over and gets started tending to your burns. She heals them the best she can but tells you time will tell if you'll have scarring. She gives you a jar of salve to help with the pain and gives you care instructions for the next few days.
Once Madja leaves, Cassian throws you over his shoulder and storms out before taking you to the house of wind. Once you're inside, he carries to his bedroom and slams the door before dropping you on the bed. "Just what exactly were you thinking?! Do you realize how stupid that was of you?! Did you even think about what could've happened to Feyre or yourself?!" He shouts as he paces in front of you. "I was thinking I couldn't stand there and let anything happen to her! She's the closest one I have to family, and I'll be damned if I'll let some prick like Eris harm her!" You shout back as you crowd his space. "We weren't just standing there! We were weighing the options and coming up with the best one!" He retorts.
"I did what I felt I had to do!" You tell him. "What if he had killed you?! What if instead of just burning your wrists, what if he had engulfed you in flames and killed you? What then?!" He says as his fingers grip his hair in frustration. "Then I would've died trying to save my family!" You answer. "You really don't get it, do you?! I love you, y/n! I could've lost you without ever telling you! You never once considered how your actions would affect any of us, but especially me!" He says, his eyes searching yours. "...y-you love me?" You say barely audible, stunned by his words. "Yes, I love you. I've loved you for a while. You just never noticed." He says as his hand gently cradles the side of your face.
"I love you, too." You tell him. His thumb tenderly strokes your cheek as he pulls you close to him. "Don't you ever pull anything like that again!" He says as he holds you against his firm chest. "No promises." You say with a hint of a smile. "You're so stubborn, you know that?" He says. "You know you love that avout me." You answer with a knowing grin. "At least try to wait a few hundred years to give me a chance to recover from the chaos that is you." He says as he sits on the edge of the bed and pulls you into his lap. "I think I can try that." You say teasingly before he pulls you into a kiss.

Long Gone Azriel x Female Reader
Warnings: pure angst because I've been in a mood
Shielding your bond had become second nature, not that it really mattered if it was shielded or not. The light of it that once burned bright had been slowly snuffed out, leaving it cold and dark. Azriel had taken on more missions that kept him away for extended periods of time. At first, you had begged him not to go, but he claimed it was his duty. After a while, you realized you were wasting your breath. He'd never choose to stay. You had started sleeping in the guest room when he was away, unable to sleep in your lonely marital bed unless it was one of the few times he was home. He hadn't noticed the toll this was having on you, or if he had, he didn't care.
You were left alone once again after Azriel had rushed out for a mission in Illyria. You stared at the half eaten breakfast he had left behind. Your eyes drifted around the house, noticing how it was just a house, no longer a home to you. It used to be full of love, and now it's just a hollow shell, like you. The thought made you laugh, and the more you dwelled on your life, you couldn't help but laugh harder. You were becoming hysteric, laughter turned to tears quickly as you realized how pathetic your existence has become. You couldn't stop crying, reaching out for Rhys to send Madja.
Moments later the they are both in front of you, "sedate me!" You manage to say between sobs. Madja looks to Rhys questioningly. After he prods your mind, with permission, he gives Madja a nod. She gives you a tonic that will keep you resting for several hours. Your eyes flutter closed as the tonic takes effect. Once Rhys carries you upstairs to bed, he orders Azriel to return home. After some back and forth, Rhys shows him why he needs to come home. Once Azriel returns, Rhys tells him about the state they found you in and Madja sedating you before he leaves the two of you alone.
Azriel stares at you, wondering how it took him this long to realize the pain you're in. Madja said you'd be out for hours. He took the time to really take in how much things had changed. He noticed the bed smelled more like him than you, even though you slept in it more, or so he thought. He took in the puffiness of your eyes from crying. Each sign of pain and distress he failed to notice sooner glared at him. He reaches out to hold your hand but stops, wondering if you'd want him to touch you. He sits there in silence as he dwells on the past several months. When you stopped begging him to stay is when he should've realized what was happening. He thought about how lifeless the bond between you had become.
You started to stir on the bed, bringing Azriel out of his thoughts, "Hey, Angel," he says softly. Your eyes are still tired as you try and focus on him. "Madja gave me the good stuff. it's almost like you're actually here." You mumble before your eyes drift closed again. "It's me, I'm really here." He says as he brushes a stray strand of hair from your face. "You're away, you left earlier. Besides, you wouldn't choose me." You mumble before drifting back asleep. He sits in stunned silence at your words. The fact that you'd accept a dream of him being there before him physically being there hurt him deeply. He hadn't given you reason to believe otherwise, though, he thought to himself as he watched you rest.
You wake up later that evening to the smell of dinner. You get out of bed and make your way towards the savory scent, expecting to see someone from the inner circle. You're stunned when you see Azriel cooking with his back to you, you pinch yourself to make sure you're not dreaming. Once you accept that you're awake, you take a few moments to gather yourself. "Dinner is about ready if you want to sit down." Azriel says over his shoulder. "I thought you were in Illyria." You say as you remain where you are. "I was, but you needed me." You let out a laugh, "That's never stopped you before." You say. You watch as he visibly flinches from your words.
He makes a plate for you and sits it at the table before making one for himself. "I can hear your stomach growling from here. Please sit down and eat." He says gently. You hesitantly sit down and take a bite. The chicken is so tender and flavorful as you savor it. A satisfied grin comes over Azriel. You eat in silence as Azriel keeps a watchful eye on you. "How are you feeling?" He asks. "Okay, I guess." You answer. "No lingering drowsiness or headache from the tonic?" He asks. "No." You answer before gathering your dishes and carrying it to the sink.
You wash your dishes and leave them to dry in the rack. "I guess I am still kind of tired. I'm going back to bed." You say before heading upstairs, not giving him a chance to stop you. You decide to sleep in the guest room, unsure of what to make of Azriel cooking you dinner, let alone him being home. You change into knit shorts and a shirt before climbing into bed and trying to get some sleep. You toss and turn for a bit before finally falling back asleep.
Meanwhile, Azriel sits at the table where you left him. He moves his food around with his fork but doesn't have an appetite anymore. He scraped the remaining food fromhis plate into the trash before cleaning his dishes and leaving them yo dry with yours. He sat down on the couch and debated what to do. He didn't know if you wanted him in bed with you or if he should just make himself comfortable on the couch. After a while, he decided to sleep beside you. He made his way upstairs and into the bedroom, which was surprisingly empty.
He checked the bathroom, and still no sign of you. He sent his shadows to search for you while he checked the other rooms and found them empty until he came to the guest room. As soon as he opened the door, he could tell you spent a lot of time in here. It had been redecorated to your liking, and it smelled of your sweet scent. He found you soundly sleeping in the bed. This was your retreat when he was gone. He could tell how much time you spent in this room. He briefly wondered how he could miss all the signs, but then it would be easy if he was hardly ever home.
His shoulders slumped as his mind raced with more questions than answers. Would you want him to stay with you or should he sleep on the couch, would you ever be able to forgive him, if you did would things ever be like they were when you first got together. The more he thought about it, the more overwhelming it became. Finally, he tucked the covers tighter around you and gently pressed a kiss to your forehead before whispering, "Good night, angel." As he turned to leave, he heard you mumble."Love you, Az." His heart stopping at your words before a little spark of hope flickered in his heart. He quietly shut the door before walking downstairs and laying on the couch. He laid there thinking that tomorrow is a new day for a new beginning, and he was determined to fix everything.

Assaulted Pt. 2 Azriel x Female Reader
Warnings: Nudity (Nothing super explicit)
A scream tore from your lips as you woke up drenched in sweat. It took you a moment to realize you were home and safe. You felt Azriel's arms around you, "You're safe. It was just a dream." He says, trying to reassure you while tucking you into his side. His hand gently rubs your back as your tears soak his shirt. "I'm so sorry, Az." You say between cries. "Shhh, you're alright, princess." He says, comforting you. His shadows gently swirl around you, trying to offer you their comfort. Eventually, you calm down enough to drift back asleep.
You woke up a while later to find the bed empty. You knew Azriel was going to return to work today. You had been discussing it since your therapist said that gradually returning to normal schedule would be a good thing. You hear the shower running in the bathroom. You make your way into the bathroom and strip out of your pajamas. You make out your mates naked form through the steamed glass and take a moment to admire him. You open the door and slip inside before you lose your nerve. You gently kissed between Azriel's wings before wishing him a good morning.
He lets out a small moan as your lips touch the sensitive spot, "It is now that you're here." He says softly. "Thought you could use some help getting those hard to reach places," you say with a smile. You lightly run your fingers along his wings, watching as he shudders from your touch. He turns towards you, his eyes meet yours as you notice the heat pooling in them. His lips press against yours in a passionate kiss as your back touches the shower wall. The first glimpse of a flashback flashes across your mind. The rough brick digging into your back that night.
'I'm safe, it's Azriel.' You mentally remind yourself as you try to deepen the kiss. You feel his hands on your hips, forcing another glimpse of the night into your mind. Your breathing hitches briefly, 'It's  you're mate your feeling touch you.' You think. A shadow swirls around your wrist and squeezes by mistake, forcing you to let out a gasp. Everything about that night quickly floods your mind. A gentle touch from Azriel and his soothing voice manage to pull you back to the present. "You're safe, princess, you're home, and you're safe." He says as you return to him, eyes wide with embarrassment and shame at your reaction.
"I'm so sorry." You hurriedly say before climbing out of the shower, only grabbing a robe as you make a quick exit before he can stop you. You throw the robe on and tie it shut around you as tears streak your cheeks. You hear Azriel asking you to wait and to stop, but you can't face him right now. You lock yourself in the spare bedroom as you crumble from the guilt and embarrassment. Your knees are drawn to your chest as your arms rest in top of them, burying your face. A gentle knock goes unanswered on the door. You hear Azriel sit down on the other side.
"I'm sorry, love. I got caught up in your touch, and I wasn't thinking clearly." He says through the door. "I didn't meanto upset you." You cry harder as his apology, feeling guilty because it's you who should be apologizing instead of hiding. "Please, princess. Unlock the door and let me help you." He pleads as a shadow slips under the door. It gently tugs on the robe so as not to startle you. You wipe your tears and gently extend your hand to it. It carefully swirls around your fingers in apology as you watch it. "Was it you who squeezed my wrist?"
It stills at your words as it sits on your palm, gently moving up and down, almost like nodding. "I know you didn't mean to intentionally do it." You say as your other hand comes to gently touch the shadow. Azriel listens quietly from the hall as you talk to his shadow, glad you're at least talking. He stands up as he hears you shuffling around before hearing the door unlock. You carefully open it, hating the sight of your guilt riddled mate while you hold one of his shadows. Azriel opens his mouth to apologize again, but you silence him as you press your finger to his lips.
"I'm the one that owes you an apology, love. I thought I was ready to be more intimate with you. I'm sorry for teasing you and then running out like I did." You say with embarrassment as he feels your guilt through the bond. You're looking everywhere but at him afraid of what he'll say next. His hand gently lifts your chin so your eyes meet his. They are full of love, compassion, and understanding. "You don't need to apologize for any of that. We have plenty of time for that when you're ready." Your cheeks redden, "but it's been two weeks." You say as if that has any bearing on this conversation.
"Princess, it doesn't matter if it's 2 weeks or 2 years, I will patiently wait for however long you need. There is no timeline when it comes to this. The fact that you even considered being ready shows your healing and trying to move on, but it's going to take time. Don't worry about me and what you think I need. All I need is for you to focus on yourself and take your time." He says as he gently pulls you into his arms to hold you. "But you have needs too." You say against his chest. "Princess, what did I just say. Don't worry about me, contrary to what you believe I didn't just marry you for sex." He teases, trying to lighten the mood.
"I know, but I want it too." You admit. "There's nothing wrong with that. We just need to figure out how to make you more comfortable along the way." He says. "Let's just take things slow and let it happen naturally." He continues before pressing a kiss to the top of your head. "You always were better at being patient than I was." You tease him. "I have to be. Have you met yourself?" He says with a laugh before you playfully smack his arm. "I think I hear Rhys calling you." You joke. "Nice try, I already told him I was taking the day off to spend with you, so you're stuck with me." He replies with a smirk.

Assaulted Azriel x Female Reader
WARNINGS: Attempted/Implied impending SA, Violence, Language, Trauma, Hurt/Comfort
His hot breath on your skin made you nauseous as you cursed yourself for not being more observant. His breath wreaked of alcohol and tobacco as he told you all the things he wanted to do to you. Your skin crawled from his touch as you kept reaching out for Azriel, knowing he was too far away, but maybe he could get Cassian or Rhys to you in time. You had already tried for the blade in his hands once, earning you a cut across your arm, staining your shirt with blood. You had tried everything the male had you pinned against the brick building.
He grabbed your hair and forced your head back as he pressed his lips to yours, forcing your mouth open as his tongue slipped inside. You can taste the stale beer and cheap tobacco. You gag from the overwhelming of your senses. He slaps you across the face, "Am I not good enough for you, or do you only spread these pretty legs for illyrian bastards?!" He sneers. You struggle harder trying to find any way to free yourself from his grip. "Fuck you!" You say through gritted teeth. "You will soon enough, sugar." He says as his knife slices through the strap of your dress. He cuts the other one before moving the blade to the neckline and starting to cut it.
As your bra becomes exposed, the assailant is pulled back and quickly lying in a pool of his own blood as you see Cassian standing in front of you. "Are you alright? Do I need to call for Madja?" Cassian asks as he looks you over, noticing the blood on your shirt. "I'm okay. it's already started healing." You assure him. He takes off his coat and wraps it around you to help you feel less exposed. "Azriel's on his way." He says. Rhys arrives and notices the man on the ground, "dead?" He asks void of emotion. "Yes," Cassian answers. "Good. Take her home, azriel will meet you there, I'll take care of this." Rhys says.
"Are you okay if I fly you home or would you rather walk?" Cassian asks as he turns his attention to you. "Flying, please. I want to be home." You say as your adrenaline starts to wear off. Cassian nods before carefully wrapping his arms around you and gently cradling you against him. "Cass, I'm not going to break," you say as you settle in. "I know, I just want you to be comfortable." He says sheepishly. "Thank you, I'll never resent your touch." You say, knowing you're safe with him. He takes off towards your house and lands outside on the walkway. You unlock the door before Cass follows you inside. "Azriel should be here soon. Make yourself at home in the meantime." You tell him.
"I'm going to shower, I don't want him to see me like this." You say before making your way upstairs. Cassian sits on the couch and waits for his brother to arrive. After shielding the bond, you quickly tear off your dress and turn the shower on hot. While waiting for the water to warm up, you brush your teeth, then brush them again. Wanting to rid yourself from the taste of stale beer and cheap tobacco. After brushing for a fourth time, you undress the rest of the way and step under the scalding hot water. You grab your vanilla and sandalwood scented soap and start scrubbing everywhere he touched you.
The once soft cloth turns painful against your skin as you scrub yourself raw. The water tinting pink from your blood. Little droplets line your skin as you scrub harder, needing to wash his touch from your body and your mind. As the water turns cold, you feel the warmth of your tears. You hadn't even realized you were crying. You sank to the floor and pulled your knees to your chest as you buried your face in your arms. The tears come faster and stronger as sobs rack your body. You sink into the numbness that fills you.
Azriel rushes up the walkway and into the house, "Where is she?! Is she ok?!" Azriel's shadows are frenzied around him. "She had a cut on her arm but said it wwas already starting to heal, she said she wanted to take a shower so you wouldn't see her like that. The fucker that touched her is dead and Rhys is handling it." Cassian says as he tries to calm his brother down. As soon as Cassian said you were in the shower one of Azriel's shadows comes to check on you. After finding you in your current state it quickly reports back. Azriel takes off up the stairs making his way into the bathroom.
He finds you slumped on the floor and instinctively reaches for you. Once he feels the freezing water he quickly shuts it off before turning his attention back to you. He notices the redness of your skin and the abrasions from scrubbing yourself raw. His heart aches at your pain as he gently lifts you up and dries you off. You wince when the towel brushes your scrapes. "I'm sorry, princess." Azriel says softly. Once your dried off he carries you into the bedroom, not wanting to take his eyes off you. He helps you get dressed in sweat pants and one of his shirts.
He helps you lay down before covering you up. He turns to get the light, "Don't leave me," you say, sounding panicked. "I'm just getting the light, princess. I promise I'm not going to leave you." He says gently as he dims the lights. After stripping off his leathers and changing into sweats, he climbs into bed beside you. In an instant, you snuggled into his side with his arms and wings around you as you bury your face in his bare chest. "I'm so sorry, Azriel. I should've paid closer attention, I should've fought harder, I should-" You say you start to spiral.
"Hey, princess, you have nothing to be sorry for. None of this is your fault." He says as he gently strokes your hair. He feels your body tremble as his chest grows wet from your tears. "I love you. Nothing about tonight changes that. I'm the one who should be sorry. I wasn't there when you needed me to be." He says. "You can't be with me every moment of the day. This isn't your fault, love." You say through your tears. He rubs soothing circles along your back. "What happens now?" You ask solomnly. "We take it day by day, princess. I'll be by your side every step of the way." He tries to comfort you.
"I think you should try to get some rest." He says as he continues to play with your hair. "I can't," you say barely loud enough for him to hear. He kisses the top of your head and gently rubs your back, "ok, princess," he whispers softly. He gently starts humming a lullaby as you lay on his chest. His fingers gently run through your hair while he tries to get you to sleep. Before long, everything catches up with you, and your eyes drift shut. "Sleep well, princess. I've got you." He says softly before kissing the top of your head, settling in to watch over you for the night.
