Calling out @hayesflint for asking about an AU we made together, now onto the synopsis.

When Kanan and Hera leave Zeb to look after the property so they can go enjoy their honeymoon he tells them it's no problem. What could happen in a month. But when people start showing up on his doorstep a few days later, he's left with no choice but to leave and confront Lord Saxon about it.

Accompanied by Ezra, an annoyingly chatty kid who invited himself along, Zeb must rescue some lost princess from the highest room in the tallest tower under threat of a fire breathing dragon and a moat made of lava if he wants to fix this before Kanan and Hera get back.

Only problem is he's fairly certain the man in his late 30s he finds their is not in fact a lost princess and that Sabine, the vibrant coloured bird following him around was in fact the dragon they faced like twenty minutes ago.

Can secrets come to light and before it's too late? Will love, ah, find a way? Is our friendly fairy godmother Maul maybe not as helpful as he seems?

These questions, and likely many others if Ezra has anything to do with it, will be awnsered in this Shrek AU.
