This one might be what I've been most proud of making in the years since I graduated

This was a project I undertook during the pandemic and it just grew and grew in scope and I'm still very pleased with the quality of it. I'm still kind of baffled at the concept for this and how far I took it that I really don't know if this was ever meant to be 25 minutes long but it's a scale I'd like to work in again. There was something so comforting about sinking hours and hours into designing every last inch of this. It's also like, an extremely easy video to roll out every Halloween as the default Harpoon Cartoons Halloween Special lol Dracula is one of my favorite stories, and this section I adapted is the best part of the book imo and so i'm happy I got to stamp my own personal touch on it

I was very optimistic back then hoping to create more things like this, and I did do a similar interpretation with The Hobbit, but it's the kind of thing I only could have made in the specific conditions provided to me in the height of the pandemic in 2020.

I'm in the process of reposting art on my socials since I started a job recently and wanna keep my presence active so here's an interpretation I did of a scene from the cult horror movie "Messiah of Evil!"

I'm still quite proud of this one, I think I'd like to do more film studies at some point!

I've really struggled to find a good place to spend my time, social-media wise. I feel like Twitter was the platonic ideal for a good while after Instagram screwed me over by lowering the visibility of image posts (even though I am an animator, I post far more illustrations just because they're quicker) and BlueSky just doesn't feel like it even exists, even when I'm on there. It almost feels like Tumblr could be the solution to where I should be posting but it also feels so formal? I had a Tumblr for all of high school and jumped ship in college but now that I'm back I almost feel like not much about the place has changed.

I've been working on a graphic novel pitch and I had a thread in which I posted updates on Twitter but I think after a certain point it stopped getting visibility, so I've stopped. I also don't want to solely post all that so I hope I can get back to uploading things soon. I also have been on a job hunt for the last two months and so most of my time is spent on that.

All this to say I hope I'm more active on here but no promises

I Am That Is

I made this fan cover for the first Redwall book this summer, and dammit I'm still proud of it!! I also made this alt cover to look more like the state the book was in when I first read it in my elementary school library lol
