After meeting his newest team mate, Phantom, Tim realizes that maybe Jason is a halfa too! He did come back from the dead just like Phantom! Now it's time to be the annoying little brother that he is and use as many ghost weapons on his brother as he can. Meanwhile,

Jason, who is absolutely not a halfa, is confused as to why Tim keeps pointing an ugly thermos at him.

Sonic characters sleep habits.

Tails: Does his best to sleep in his bed. Often fails, and ends up passing out in his workshop with some tool or other in his hand. Usually either Amy or Sonic come in and end up tucking him in. If he wonders why he woke up in his bed, he doesn’t ask. Sometimes sleep-deprived, but mostly sleeps in enough to compensate for the late hours.

Knuckles: sleeps next to the Master Emerald 9/10 times. Lays down if he’s just napping. At night he sleeps sitting up against one of the pillars. Tails has been trying to get him to sleep on a cot or something, but he prefers the stone floor. Well-rested. Sonic: Sleeps anywhere at any time. Most often in trees, or on rooftops, but he can be anywhere. Rarely sleeps on his race car bed. He snores softly, and quietly. Sometimes he’s curled up, but most of the time he’s just a mess. One time Tails found him with half his fist in his mouth while dangling from on top of the kitchen cabinets. His sleep schedule is “Do I feel tired?” and if the answer is yes then he sleeps.  Amy: On her side, in her bed, cuddling her Sonic plush. It makes her feel safe on anxious nights. Wears a sleep mask for weekend nights. Gets a full 8 hours. Early to bed, early to rise. Has a noise machine somewhere.

Vanilla: Also sleeps on her side, and goes to bed at around 10 at night. Likes have a hot cup of tea before heading to bed. 

Cream: Sleeps on her stomach and snuggles Cheese. When Cheese isn’t there she snuggles her chao plushies. She tosses and turns tho.

Big: He sleeps on his back with froggy on some part of him. Usually on either his stomach, chest, or head. Has a bed, but sometimes sleeps in the ground after looking at the stars.

Charmy: Somehow manages to sleep in their cupboards more often than his bed. Still has his helmet on when he wakes up, even if he takes it off before going to sleep. Nobody knows how.

Vector: Loudly. Snores like a freight train. He often ends up shoving the covers halfway off of him and goes into a torpor on cold nights because of it. Sleeps as heavily as he snores. 

Espio: on his side, still and stiff as a board. Has a small music player with songs he listens to, and they have lots of bamboo flute mixed with piano. He has a staff that he curls his tail around. Do not wake him by touch, he will hit you.

Omega: The bird sleeps fine. Omega has very comfy insides. The robot himself goes into sleep mode, but snuck in a protocol to let him detect intruders and wake him up when one is found.  Rouge: Light sleeper, hangs upside-down. Definitely wears a sleeping mask. Has conditioned herself to sleep mostly around dawn and dusk, but if given the chance, she will sleep all day and be out all night. Has a special pair of slippers for bats that sticks onto things so she doesn’t get sore feet from gripping onto something the whole night. She takes them everywhere just in case.

Shadow: He doesn’t sleep like 90% of the time. If he does, it’s either to speed up the healing of some major injury, or because he’s running low on chaos energy. He sleeps silently, and looks like a statue because you have to stare for like a half hour to figure out whether or not he’s even breathing and even then it’s a tough call. Just about the only way to wake him is by grabbing him, but he sleeps with his eyes open so good luck finding someone willing to try that. He can sleep anywhere, but is extra grumpy if he doesn’t sleep on a bed. 

Eggman: sleeps 12 hours in a row then stays up for 3 days straight making a new plan/machine. Has a dozen of the same 3 pairs of pajamas to wear to bed, and sleeps in them according to what he plans on working on the next day. Snuggles with a teddy bear and has a cpap machine.

Jason finds the Amulet of Aragon in a drugs bust. He's a little busy at the moment, so he just throws it over his head to wear it until he can toss it in the evidence vault later.

Naturally, the absolute second he gets angry a giant fuckall dragon decimates the warehouse.

Jason has decided he really, really likes this amulet thing.

He's refusing to give it back.

#Joker fights Red Hood one day and is immediately crushed to death because Jason turned into a dragon ON SIGHT #Do you think Jason would try to make the amulet look like something that fits him better? #like idk trying to cover the gold with a layer of stainless steel to block out the glowing aura #or put a translucent filter or two over the gem part so it warps the light so it looks like the gem is red instead of green? #because I don’t think metal other than maybe lead would do anything to block the actual transformative properties #I wouldn’t put it past him to make a chest piece specifically for the amulet so it isn’t sliding around #Because he’s a drama queen #I double don’t put it past him to make one specifically for the amulet that also has a cover so he can sneak around without the glowing roc #on his chest giving away his position #bruce is Very Concerned About This when he inevitably finds out #at least in part because the number of magic items that have really cool powers but come with a caveat of some kind of corruption #is far more than he wants to think about #And until he can get someone to look at it #(Jason already did that and they gave him the all-clear) #Bruce will be in paranoia town. #Dick desperately wants to do the httyd hand thing with his little brother but Jason keeps refusing lol #DPxDC #jason todd #red hood

if this is a liminal or halfa Damian, I’d also like to propose that he feels really weird when he gets to Amity. Maybe slightly uncomfortable at first because he’s adjusting to the good ecto, but after a bit he feels good in a way that he hasn’t felt…..ever. Like a few days of getting a bunch of sleep and three hot meals after a massive Arkham breakout, good.

Which is immediately suspicious, and should doubtlessly be on the report, because knowing the other bats at all means he knows one of them will be sent to check it out as well, and if they report it and he didn’t, they’ll try to investigate why one of them experienced this and the other didn’t.

Damian has a favorite Youtuber, her channel name is 'Sam's Cooking Now STFU', and she specializes in Vegan Recipes.

He loves all her dishes, and Alfred is very happy to create them alongside Damian.

But Damian starts to notice concerning things.

A bruise on her wrist. A brace on one ankle. One time a straight up split lip. Eyes nervously darting to the side, looking out the window.

The hallmarks of someone imprisoned.

Damian is already trying to find her location, already had to ask Tim and Barbara for help because of the insane firewalls, when he sees something.

The camera angle is a little bit different, showing off the window as Sam cooks.

There's a hero outside the window.

Just a flash, but that's definitely a hero suit and a logo.

Heroes generally have one main city they stick with. If he can find that hero, he can find Sam's city.

The amount of times where I have enthusiastically explained where modern slang comes from to old ladies at my work place and they did not react with some variety of “you kids are killing language” is staggering. Most old men seem to be determined to Never Admit To Being Wrong About Things, but some of them enjoyed it, too. The reactions usually span from “confused but I’m happy that you’re happy” to “I didn’t think about why young people made new phrases, but it reminds me of how we used to say [x] instead of [y] like our parents because [y] didn’t really fit.” A shocking amount of the old ladies tell me that they were frustrated because it sounds like nonsense…and then the nonsense is just because it’s a digital thing they didn’t understand. And if I’m not busy I can ask them what’s giving them trouble, whip out my phone, and usually demonstrate it in a straightforward way right then and there.

And if I don’t know how a word or phrase developed, i can also whip out my phone and we find out together. Once they know how words develop, most of them are infinitely less frustrated, and consequently less likely to think that the way “kids these days” speak is utter garbage. Not everyone gets to that point, but there’s usually at least a degree of “I understand how this happened, and how some of it was necessary, even if I like the way it was in my day more.”

TL;DR: Even old people who might initially seem stuck in their ways can be like this if you have a little patience, and a minute to spare!

Studying linguistics is actually so wonderful because when you explain youth slang to older professors, instead of complaining about how "your generation can't speak right/ you're butchering the language" they light up and go “really? That’s so wonderful! What an innovative construction! Isn't language wonderful?"

and another one! Thank you to @pixlokita for letting me use this wonderful lineart to color! Hot Topic Glamrock Bonnie made me laugh harder than it should have. I couldn’t pick one version, so here’s my favorites!

I know glamrock bonnie is a much lighter/greener blue, i just darkened it to make him ✨more emo✨but I didn’t like the weird dark cyan that made so I moved it over into the pure blue a bit more.

#I just thought the claw marks were neat #also fun fact: the dark blue of the hoodie and hair was color picked from the original lineart #and the red of everything but the claw marks was color picked from the eyes #I also noticed that a lot of the fnaf coloring books I’ve seen have a bunch of crosshatching shading #So I wanted to try something with that #and yes the stars in the hoodie are a reference to glamrock freddie #because I like to think that he calls bonnie superstar sometimes when he’s being sappy. #Thanks Pix! #This was a delight to color!

Batman and the D’s know about each other’s swapping shenanigans because both of them do the same thing. I like to think that one of ‘em saw Dick in the costume and squinted suspiciously because that’s not Batman’s signature, before realizing it’s Nightwing’s, and immediately continuing on with their day because it’s none of their business.

DC X DP PROMPT #8

Danny is a Justice League member as Phantom. They know about ghosts and stuff, as Danny has taught them things.

Danny, Dani, and Dan are all relatively grown. In their human forms (Dan inhabits a clone body) they all look VERY similar. The Ghost forms of the D's don't exactly look the same, per se, but they do look very similar and it's not because they are all technically clones (though that helps)

There are more than a few days where Danny doesn't want to do JL stuff, and he figures, the JL know about his operations outside the JL, they should know about his siblings, right? Right? Wrong.

Dan, Danny, and Dani constantly swap out for JL activities and no one has noticed. They all think either A. Danny is gender fluid, B. Danny has mood swing and or multiple personalities, or C. Nothing is wrong, what are you guys talking about everyone has their off days!

The Dannies find out and OBVIOUSLY have to make a game out of it because I mean - how does the JUSTICE LEAGUE of all people not notice the difference between THREE DIFFERENT PEOPLE
