Man … the idea of Azriel’s sense of self worth getting better as it fully sets in that he is Gwyn’s safe space and that overcoming her trauma and reclaiming her sexuality happened because she trusts him and is the result of pure love and that he doesn’t have to view himself as corrupted or tainted because he is the one that made her feel holy again 🥲

One thing I would love to read happen is for him to start looking at his scarred hands with reverence like Gwyn would because the scares would remind her its him and no one else touching her body. Therefore he'd start seeing his hands in a different light as well and it would help him with his self worth.

The E/riels will try to downplay this interview but it happened and Sarah answered with Elain and Lucien without even being prompted and this was before she became tight lipped about anything relating to the upcoming novels.

The endgame has always been and will be Elucien.

Omg I love that modern dates answer haha what else did she say? About nessian and also about the other couples?? What would their date be like??

Here is how the modern date conversation went down!

Tristan (me): “Hey Sarah do you mind me asking what would be the perfect modern-day dates for the ACOMAF couples?”

Sarah: Ooh! That’s an interesting question I never really thought of before! Let me think here…*ponders* I can see Rhysand taking Feyre on a private jet ride to Paris where they would visit the Louvre and see the famous artwork inside. It would be romantic as they walked down the city streets and eventually wind up at the Eiffel Tower-

Josh (Sarah’s Husband): *teasing tone* Maybe I should be taking notes so I know where to take you for a date?

Sarah: *laughs* You definitely should! I wouldn’t mind a trip to Paris!

Sarah and Josh: *Continue to tease each other about dates AKA all around cuteness!*

Sarah: That reminds me! Lucien and Elain would go to London and tour through the gardens before making their way out to the countryside. They are pretty much happy to be out in nature the most.

Sarah: And for Cassian and Nesta they would go to a private island or the Maldives where they would have some quality alone time if you know what I mean. *insert suggestive look*

Tristan: *laughs* Oh yes! I can imagine them “venting anger” towards each other on the island!

Sarah: *chuckles* Oh my goodness yes! They would have a LOT of time to “vent that anger” alone together!

I think the fact that Gwyn is part Nymph and probably a very good swimmer is going to become a part of their story. Especially since, I presume Azriel cannot swim efficiently with his wings. So I could see a situation where she’s the only one who can achieve a task because it’s underwater or perhaps saving or helping Azriel under the water.

I happen to agree!

I do think her Nymph heritage will come into play someway, somehow.

I also think her singing might be tied into her nymph side so maybe that will also be helpful since her singing was able to help Nesta with the harp. To go along with that, I wonder if her singing could help them locate a hidden object at a bottom of a lake or something and she'd have to go retrieve whatever it is, and Azriel tags along on the adventure to keep an eye out.

I've also had the thought she'd end up saving Azriel as well with her singing and maybe it brings him back from near death? Kinda like beckoning him back to life and to her... and of course if Azriel happens to be hurt and well drowns her nymph side can come into play to get him to safety.

Whatever happens. I can't wait to read what Sarah has in store for Gwyn and for Azriel 😊

What’s your idea of a perfect Gwynriel story? What do you want Sarah to cover?

Honestly, idk if I have an idea for a perfect Gwynriel story. I just want them to come together and find healing, however that may come about.

I do know I want to learn more about Gwyn's powers and how her singing is tied into it. I am also intrigued by her lineage and the mystery behind her father/grandfather. I want to see her interact with Azriel shadows more, and I want Azriel POV as that happens because I can almost bet it would be funny at times his thought process on how they are around Gwyn.

I'd love for him to be her safe spot for her to explore and gain back her sexuality. I want to see her take control in that area but also maybe even be a bit submissive because she knows she's safe with him.

As for Azriel, all I know is that I want him to fall in love with Gwyn before the mate bond snaps. I think he's so focused on a mate bond that he forgets there is more to it than just a snapping of the bond and living happily ever after. Love takes work and he honestly needs to learn to love himself and feel worthy of himself before he can love anyone else. I want him to realize he loves Gwyn truly and wholeheartedly and then it snaps and he realizes what was in front of him all along.

Nobody can convince me that it wasn’t nesta who cooked and cleaned the cabin they all lived in as humans. She has been raised to become a wife, her mother and grandmother definitely thought her everything. We know thomas wasn’t rich, they wouldn’t have money for a cook or maid.

It was definitely not feyre who did all these things. Yes she hunted but you can’t tell me that she also cleaned and cooked. We now that elain can bake so why is it so hard to believe that nesta can cook? Her haters are just blind in that aspect

On the nights it gets cold and sleep doesn't come easy to her, Elain can be seen walking around late at night with a coat wrapped around her.

Though most of the scent on the coat has faded, Elain lifts up her arm and smells the little spot still there that has the scent of her mate. It instantly calms and brings comfort to her.

Elain then will venture back to her room where she will lay down and curl around the coat as she drifts off into a dream where Lucien has her wrapped in his arms while she sleeps.

Gwyn Bedara 🤝 Azriel Shadowsinger

They both sing. They both spy.

They both are highly competitive.

They both are warriors: Illyrian 🤝 Valkyries

They both seem to enjoy training with daggers/swords.

They both train at night when almost everyone else is asleep. Which ties into them both having insomnia.

They both are associated with Blue stones (Invoking and Siphons)

They both participated in & completed the Blood Rite and gained titles of Carynthian.

They both have feelings of unworthiness.

They both have experienced trauma at the hands of others.

They both will put themselves in danger to ensure the safety of others.

With all of this...how can you not see them as endgame? Especially given "like calls to like" in Sarah's books.

You know what I find interesting?

In ACOSF, Elain doesn't credit Azriel for his part in helping save her from Hybern's camp even though he literally carried her out of there. She gives the credit to Feyre.

In the Bryce, Nesta, and Azriel Bonus Chapter for HOFAS, Azriel doesn't credit Elain for her part in helping with taking down Hybern. He gives the credit to Nesta alone for taking down Hybern.

If they were truly endgame, don't you think it would have been a good idea for these two to give credit to each other when the topic of these events got brought up to reinforce a connection? Instead, they both credited other people....

But you know who does give credit to Elain for her role in helping take down Hybern? Her mate, Lucien. (And don't bring Rhysand into this because he never gave her credit out loud where others could hear)

Lucien who she is still connected to even throughout ACOSF and HOFAS because Azriel makes it clear there is no one when Bryce asks him personal questions on if he had a partner/mate and we know from his own bonus chapter he doesn't consider Elain anything more than a sexual fantasy for him (even though I do happen to think he does have a mate, Gwyn, but the bond just hasn't snapped for him to say he does yet).

Elucien and Gwynriel will be endgame if you look at Sarah writing from these two books.

Yeah...idk how they missed that... it's right there in front of their faces 🤷‍♀️

It truly makes me wonder if E/riels really read ACOSF when they say things like this:

Because if they truly read the book.... they'd know this happens after the bonus scene takes place:

And this:

Two scenes in which his shadows have a reaction when Gwyn is around or mentioned in ACOSF. One during training, one when Gwyn is in the Blood Rite. And there is no singing involved.

Oh, and in the bonus scene.. there is more than just that one mention of the shadows dancing with Gwyn breathe.

There is this before they even dance for her breathe:

And this happens when something restless settles in him during his scene with Gwyn:

And this is as Azriel is leaving his interaction with Gwyn:

Again, no *actual* singing involved. Azriel can hear & see things others cannot so when he's leaving he's not actually hearing Gwyn sing. He's hearing faint, beautiful singing that follows him that his shadows sing back to, which can only be concluded as foreshadowing of a mate bond between them since Nessian bond snaps into place that same night and is described as music between their souls. If Gwyn was the one singing, that would have been made clear.

I rest my case 😌
