project zomboid really does just make all other zombie games look haf-assed in comparison.

oh you have weird looking zombies? cool, cool, but can I change how quickly the food spoils? can I make the zombies, tougher, faster, harder to kill? can I change how good their hearing is, how far they can see, how long they’ll remember they’re chasing me for? can I make them faster?

can I change the house alarm frequency? how often houses are locked? does your game even have house alarms? can I repair clothing and add padding for winter? can I build escape ropes and fences? can I change when the power goes out? can I make cars easier to use and change how quickly they go through fuel? if I turn on a generator inside will it kill me? will my character get depressed from eating shitty food all the time? will my character get bored? will the house burn down if I leave the oven on?

and that’s just the base game, no mods necessary! like, now I’ve played project zomboid, what other zombie games do I need?
