This is a 120-sided polyhedron machined from a billet of 304 stainless steel. This disdyakis triacontahedron measures 53mm (2.08”) from face to opposite face and weighs 0.64 kg (1.4 lb). People ask how long my 120-sided metal dice take to stop rolling so today I did some tests comparing them to d100 dice. Here I slowly pushed all the dice at the same speed until they fell over the edge and began rolling. In the second picture you can see how far they rolled. I ran lots of tests and I’m working on measuring all the results, but these pictures pretty much tell the story. My dice stop way before the others every single time. Videos coming soon!
