Last night
..
Last night at Trevor, there was not a dry eye within reach when the family of Jamey Rodemeyer came out to support their brother and son. He was fourteen-years-old, and a victim of bullying. Jamey was a fan of Lady Gaga, he listed her as one of the main reasons he felt whole. Sadly, after consistent torture and bullying, he made a choice that leaves him no longer here with us in body.If it’s never been something you’ve contemplated, think of what it would take for you to feel so helpless that you would consider taking your life? What if your Mother felt that way? Your Father? Brother? Sister? Best friend? How could you wish that upon anyone? Why would you want to be a force of evil when you could be a force of good? If someone has been mean to you, trampled on your heart, be the bigger person.BE LOVE. Do you know what that means? Think about how you can BE LOVE. It is something that is on my mind every day. How can I be more appreciative or thankful? How can I pass on positive affirmations to those around me that so greatly deserve to know
they are special. Last night, a straight father came up to me with his son, and he proudly exclaimed, “We’re from the Bay Area like you, this is my son, and he just came out!” His son stood next to his sister, smiling, and I felt so happy to see that he was accepted in their family. I know this is not always the case. It is on nights like last night that I am reminded of the extreme gift one is given when they are allowed to be themselves. If you’ve read this thus far, thank you for giving me your time. I always feel compelled to write about moments in my life like last night, because they make me want to use my voice to tell other people how much these things means to me. And it was so lovely to see all the people that this means so much too. Including “GOD” or “The Wizard” played by the genius that is Amy Poehler, our invisible MC last night. She had everyone “in stitches!” I was so proud of Adam Shankman for recruiting all the amazing and talented people who performed, presented and aided towards the heartwarmingly inspiring night. We can always LET LOVE IN. Every single day. If you feel trapped, hurt or confused and need some guidance, THE TREVOR PROJECT is there for you.  http://www.thetrevorproject.org/

How did I miss this one? Died laughing with Naya and Telly last night. SPEAK UP! This beat costs a lot of money. I was reminded that my love for A. Samberg is undying.
I forgot my purse. Bye-bye again. X

Then, after the studio, went downtown. The beauty of Dia de los Muertos is that the intention is to bring people together to CELEBRATE the ones they have lost.

Did you celebrate Dia de los Muertos?  Well first, I oddly didn’t scare @alxanders, he just laughed, which is making me understand that people get me
.and my oddities. And understand my love for things like
Dia de los Muertos.

I really think the idea of having an octopus is fascinating. They are such awesome animals to watch. But what kind of a pet would they make? I’m writing with one of my writing partners right now and we needed a break. What better than to investigate the possibility of having such a pet? eHow told me this information, which we thought was hysterical. I NEEDED to post this. Please tell me someone else can appreciate this.
On keeping an octopus (granted it has to be a small one):
These eight-legged sea creatures are infamous escape artists. Even an octopus with a melon-sized head can slip through a hole the size of a nickel. Pygmy octopuses can fit through any hole, no matter the size. So when setting up your tank, be sure that the lid is tightly secured. Even if it has no holes or openings in it does not mean it is secured. There have been several reports of octopuses figuring out how to lift the lid and wriggle out. If you have other tanks nearby, an octopus can escape, get into another tank for some munchies, then return to their own tank! This is because octopuses are also active hunters.

Here starts my own ‘when I was young’, because I asked for your answers and some of you asked for mine.
I would play circus in the backyard with my brother and our dog. Caber the dog was ALWAYS the lion. Jason and I varied circus positions, but my favorite was playing the trapeze artist. Our playset helped me to believe I might have a future in it. Really, its trapeze bar was quite sturdy and rather low. Yet come to think of it, I have taken a class and loved it. I should do that again. Sidetracked. Onward! I would read and write and draw for hours. Get lost in the trees. Spy on our neighbor’s grandmother who would walk around violently shaking ALL of the neighborhood trees. Why? I’ll never know. She seemed quite sane as well. I thought I was Alice. Then Roald Dahl. Then Alice again. I would go in my dad’s car and listen to his music. Or drive with him and ask questions about all his favorites. Sometimes silly questions, like, “OK, so there is Tom Petty but who are the Heartbreakers?” He’d laugh. I’d fall and trip constantly. Grace was not my forte. Except when I danced. That was the only place I could fool you. Loved Lucille Ball and Audrey Hepburn and wanted to be a combination of the two when I “grew up”. Loved to help my mom make food for dinner. Tried to learn to sew but would give up impatiently. She was too good for me. The resolve was pinning patterns. I wished I could fly. Could never have too many pets. At one point we had two dogs, three rabbits, and four mice and a stable full of horses down the street. I’d groom them in exchange for lessons. This rambling here isn’t surpassing the wonderful answers I got from you twitter folk. But there’s a picture here. If only slight. Hope so.
