I’m so mad. I recently discovered a new writer in a new fandom, read all of their works, commented on one, and they were all removed the next day. No trace of any of them. (I usually comment on everything I like but this was on Squidge and I don’t have an account but their fic was so good I eventually said fuck it, I’m leaving a comment as a guest!)

They were all unclaimed works, so idk if the writer would have been notified of a comment, even though their name was attached. (They just didn’t have a Squidge account.)

And obviously if they want to take their work down, they can, but like. Wow I feel so sad and shitty about it. Like i feel… guilty? It was a good comment so obviously if they removed it because of what I said it was probably more of an “oh shit I forgot I posted this and I don’t want it out there” kind of thing, so I guess it’s good that I did so they can control their art, but like.

Man, it sucks.

I keep checking ao3, hoping they just moved it all there or are going to, but it’s been like a week and nothing yet.

I won’t say who or what for their privacy because I suspect they want it that way (it’s the only reason that makes sense) but their works were like, worlds above everything else in that fandom ugh
